JAGUAR LAND ROVER REPORTS U.S. SALES FOR APRIL

Jaguar brand increases 39 percent for April

• Land Rover brand increases 8 percent for April

• Range Rover and Jaguar XJ model drives sales growth

• Jaguar Land Rover North America up 16 percent for April

MAY 3, 2011 MAHWAH, NJ – Jaguar Land Rover North America today reported April U.S. sales: Land Rover sales were 2,982 units, up 8 percent from 2,749 in April 2010; Jaguar sales were 1,249 units, up 39 percent from 896 in April 2010. Jaguar Land Rover North America April U.S. sales for both brands total 4,231 units, up 16 percent from 3,645 in April 2010. For 2011, year-to-date, Jaguar Land Rover North America sales are up 18 percent to 14,999 units, with year-to-date increases from both Jaguar and Land Rover brands.

"This April is a strong kickoff to the spring selling season," said Chris Marchand, Executive Vice President, Operations, Jaguar Land Rover North America. "It was our best month of the year so far with strong volume and percentage increases for both Jaguar and Land Rover in the United States."

U.S. BRAND HIGHLIGHTS

Land Rover

Land Rover's U.S. sales in April were up 8 percent. The Range Rover Sport was the volume leader with 1,327 units sold, a 7 percent increase from 1,246 units in 2010. LR4 sales increased 10 percent to 666 units from 604 in April 2010. Range Rover sales of 763 units were up 21 percent versus 631 sales in April 2010. For the year, Land Rover sales are 11,249 units, up 19 percent versus 2010.

Land Rover's 2011 Model Year line-up features four models: The 230-hp 3.0 liter I6 powered LR2; the new LR4 powered by the 375-hp 5.0 liter V8; the Range Rover Sport and Range Rover, both available with the naturally-aspirated 375-hp V8 and 510-hp supercharged 5.0 liter V8 powertrains.

Jaguar

Jaguar had its best month of 2011 in both volume, at 1,249 units, and percent increase at 39 percent. The new Jaguar XJ hit 578 units, the Jaguar XF hit 522 units and the Jaguar XK added 149 units. On a year-to-date basis, Jaguar sales in the U.S. are up 15 percent to 3,750 units from 3,271 units in 2010.

The new Jaguar Platinum Coverage features a five year/50,000 mile new vehicle limited warranty and complimentary scheduled maintenance for the duration of the warranty period, including no-cost replacement of select wear and tear components, and 24/7 roadside assistance. This no-cost coverage includes oil changes, filters, brake pads, brake discs, brake fluids and wiper blade inserts.
