So found this on Motor Trends web site, the top 10 concepts that should have been built. I have to say I really like most of them and the one Chrysler did, while the first time seeing it for me, this should have been done from day one. Talk about pure sex on wheels. http://www.roadandtrack.com/car-culture/g6565/10-concept-cars-we-wish-had-made-it-to-production/?slide=1 My Favorite two are as follows: Chrysler Atlantic Concept Cadillac Sixteen Plenty of other cool auto's but these two are my fav's.

While looking around GMs FastLane web site, I came across this awesome story covering GMs military concepts that have been created to meet the needs of our armed forces. Some of them I could see being wanted by the public such at GMs Silverado Duramax Diesel Hybrid system where the Diesel motor can also serve as a 30kW generator. This could so be useful during storms when the power goes out to your home. Check out the cool pictures and info here.

G. David Felt Staff Writer Alternative Energy - CheersandGears.com March 15th 2014 Did these models DEFINE Cadillac? Cadillac had had a long history of hits and misses. Based on reviewing other writtings and forums it seems that the following years / models are hit upon by many as what defines Cadillac. Now with Cadillac rolling out their new emblem, I wonder, do these models define who Cadillac is today? 1915 Cadillac 1930 V16 Cadillac Sedan 1938 Cadillac Series 60 Sedan 1949 Cadillac Series 62 Coupe DeVille 1957 Cadillac Series 70 Eldorado Brougham 1959 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz Convertible 1967 Cadillac Eldorado 1999 Cadillac Escalade 2003 Cadillac Sixteen Concept 2003 Cadillac CTS 2009 Cadillac CTS-V 2013 Cadillac ATS 2013 Cadillac Elmiraj Concept 2014 Cadillac CTS Do you agree with this list or do you feel there is another model that should be here that helped define Cadillac? Strange that there is no option to add pictures as I have pictures for each year I have posted in this topic.

So I ran across this baby in some old images I had at an autoshow with my dad, Gotta love old pictures. So I hunted these down online and decided we needed to start a thread of our First Love Affair with Auto's! Sound off on what was the first auto you saw that sent you on your way to just love Auto's. AMX3 for me! 1970 American Motors AMX/3 Prototype Tucked into the corner of the Chicago Auto Show, this may be the greatest American sports car that never was. Seeking to keep pace with Italian and Detroit automakers exploring mid-engine designs, American Motors commissioned its own take in 1970. Six copies of the AMX/3 were built in Italy, using a layout similar to a DeTomaso Pantera, powered by a 340-hp version of AMC's 390 V-8. Financial troubles would kill the AMX/3, but the six prototypes survived, including this one restored by the family of designer Richard Teague.
