William Maley Staff Writer - CheersandGears.com September 26, 2012 According to new report from Motor Trend, Honda is working a smaller, less expensive NSX. Before the sky fell in 2008, Honda was working on two new NSX models. The first was a front-engine V10 model, while the second model was a smaller version of the NSX, dubbed internally as "Small NSX". When the collapse happened, the two projects were scapped. Now with the expected return of the NSX utilizing a hybrid V6 and SH-AWD system, the "Small NSX" has reportedly made a comeback. Sources say the "Small NSX" will likely have SH-AWD system and other bits from the NSX to help to help recoup development costs. Power could be either the 3.5L V6, 2.4L four-cylinder, or 2.0L four-cylinder. The "Small NSX" is expected to arrive in 2017 with a price-tag around $50,000 to $60,000.
