By William Maley Staff Writer - CheersandGears.com April 8, 2013 Automotive News Europe has learned from a source that Lexus is planning to build a compact luxury hybrid crossover to compete with the likes of the Audi Q3 and BMW X1. The crossover will debut as a concept at the Tokyo motor show later this year, with a production model being shown at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. The new crossover will be based on the Toyota RAV4 and use a 2.5L four-cylinder mated to an electric motor.
