William Maley Staff Writer - CheersandGears.com October 30, 2013 For many years, the rumor of a seven-seat crossover from Cadillac have been floating around. Now it seems the rumor could be coming true. Car and Driver is reporting that three-row Cadillac crossover that will sit between the SRX and Escalade has been given the green light. This information comes from two GM employees. The new crossover will use an updated version of GM's Lambda platform named Lambda II. Lambda II is currently underpinning the current Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Traverse, and GMC Acadia. Expect the Cadillac version to come with some improvement such as less weight and more rigidity with the use of either high-strength steel or aluminum.
