Jul. 1, 2015 Nissan Group reports June 2015 U.S. sales NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Nissan Group today announced total U.S. sales for June 2015 of 124,228 units, an increase of 13.3 percent and a June record. Nissan highlights: Nissan Division finished June with 114,243 sales, up 13 percent and also a June record. Overall sales of Nissan crossovers, trucks and SUVs set a June record, up 30.3 percent. Sales of the Nissan Rogue crossover set a June record at 23,243, an increase of 54.3 percent. Sales the Murano crossover increased 73.8 percent to 5,314. Nissan Pathfinder SUV sales grew 12.7 percent to 7,168. Nissan’s best-selling vehicle – Altima – set a June record with 29,418 sales, up 12.7 percent. The all-new, eighth-generation Nissan Maxima went on sale in June. With supply starting to ramp up at U.S. dealerships, sales were up 14.4 percent in the month.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Nissan today announced total U.S. sales for December 2014 of 117,318 units, an increase of 6.9 percent compared to last year and a December record. For calendar year 2014, Nissan set an all-time record with 1,386,895 total U.S. sales, an increase of 11.1 percent over 2013. Nissan Division 2014 calendar year highlights: In 2014, Nissan Division set an all-time record with 1,269,565 total sales. Nissan also set annual sales records for Altima, Rogue, Versa, Juke, LEAF, NV and NV200. In 2014, Nissan sold more than 30,000 LEAF vehicles in the U.S., the first time any plug-in vehicle has reached that milestone in a single year. December highlights Nissan Division set a December record with 105,311 sales, up 9.1 percent. Sales of the Altima midsize sedan were up 30.3 percent to 32,331, a December record. Rogue crossover sales also set a December record at 14,879, up 1.4 percent. Sales of the all-electric Nissan LEAF totaled 3,102, up 22.7 percent and a December record. Sentra sales were up 42.5 percent to 15,393. Versa sales grew 3 percent to 9,129. Nissan will unveil the all-new Titan full-size pickup truck on Jan. 12, 2015, at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. Sales of the updated 2015 Q70 luxury performance sedan – including the new Q70L long-wheelbase model, which has class-leading rear legroom – were up 78.7 percent for the month. The Q60 sports coupe and convertible increased 42.4 percent in December.

Nissan Group reports October 2014 U.S. sales NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Nissan Group today announced total U.S. sales for October 2014 of 103,117 units, an increase of 13.3 percent over the prior year and an October record. Nissan highlights: Nissan Division set an October record with 94,072 sales in the month, a year-over-year increase of 14.9 percent. This marks a monthly sales record for Nissan in 13 consecutive months. Rogue sales set an October record at 14,685, an increase of 13.7 percent. Nissan LEAF also set an October record with 2,589 sales, an increase of 29.3 percent. LEAF has set the record for most U.S. sales in a year by an electric car at 24,411 in 2014 with two months remaining. Versa subcompact set an October sales record with 11,097, up 28.6 percent. Sentra sales totaled 13,129 in October, up 56.3 percent. Sales of the midsize Altima totaled 23,544, an increase of 8.1 percent. Frontier pickup sales increased 25.3 percent in October to 6,568. Murano crossover sales were up 37.7 percent as the company prepares to start production for the all-new 2015 Murano at the Canton, Mississippi assembly plant this Wednesday, Nov. 5. Infiniti today reported sales of 9,045 vehicles in the U.S. during October. Sales of the Infiniti Q50 sport sedan were up 16 percent for the month, while deliveries of the updated Q70 luxury performance sedan were up 18.2 percent. For 2015, the Q70 adds a new long-wheelbase model which provides class-leading rear legroom. The QX60 three-row luxury crossover also saw an increase in October, with sales of 2,285, up five percent.
