  1. A self-driving shuttle service got off to an auspicious start yesterday in Las Vegas when it was involved in an accident with a delivery truck. According to NBC affiliate KSNV, the accident took place during the shuttle's first hour of service when a delivery truck back into the shuttle. According to an AAA representative on Twitter, the driver was cited by Las Vegas Metro Police. "The autonomous shuttle was testing today when it was grazed by a delivery truck downtown. The shuttle did what it was supposed to do, in that it’s sensors registered the truck and the shuttle stopped to avoid the accident. Unfortunately, the delivery truck did not stop and grazed the front fender of the shuttle. Had the truck had the same sensing equipment that the shuttle has the accident would have been avoided," a representative of the City of Las Vegas said in a statement. The shuttle in question comes from Navya, a French company that specializes in self-driving technology. It features lidar, radar, and video cameras around the vehicle and is powered by an electric motor. The shuttle is part of a year-long study by Navya, AAA, shuttle operator Keolis North America, City of Las Vegas, and the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada to see how the shuttle fares on public roads and whether or not riders are accepting of it. 3. You have to wonder who was asleep or not paying any attention at Alfa Romeo during the editing of a video. Because a video that was published and subsequently made private possibly revealed the upcoming Stelvio crossover. Motor Trend reports that in a video posted on Fiat Chrysler Automobile's YouTube page, there is a crossover on Fiat's Cassino assembly plant in Italy that appears to be going through an inspection. We can pick out a front end that is similar to the Giulia sedan and a coupe-like roofline. Comparing this shot with recent spy shots of the Stelvio and we can say with some confidence, this is the upcoming Stelvio. It should be noted that Cassino is home to the Giulia, a vehicle that will be sharing its platform with the Stelvio. Alfa Romeo is planning to reveal the Stelvio later this year at the LA Auto Show. 5. From the album: 2003 Buick Park Avenue Ultra (Accident 1)

I was in a severe single car accident back in 2011. No alcohol, drugs, or mobile devices contributed to the accident. I was the only passenger in the car. I have no memory of the accident. It was raining. It was night time. I ran full speed into 2 large trees less than 1 mile from my home in Bellevue. The trees lost some bark but are still strong and healthy. The did not seem disturbed by the collision. My Buick protected me. I had a minor concussion (my left wrist was between my head and the airbag because I was in the process of turning right), some facial skin abrasions, and a couple of cracked ribs. Outside of that, I was fine. We figured that I slid through the intersection and hit the trees. My memory loss was due to the concussion??? maybe...
