  1. My post was pretty bad, now that I read it again. :AH-HA_wink: I wrote that at work and it's around 20° (F) with no insulation in the old building. I may have been a little out of it. I can't really remember my train of thought. As far as the type of vehicle, it would fit right in overseas in Asia. Smaller odd looking vehicles like this are very common. Honda alone has like 4 or 5 different smallish minivan/van type vehicles already.
  2. I could see this being toned down and becoming a new CRX.
  3. The exterior does look more Japanese/korean. It looks like it could be a Hyundai. But I think it looks good, and considering the market for these vehicles is mostly women, I think it will do great. It's a very solid design other than the fake brake vents.
  4. More like Japanese concepts tend to be more radical, but the production versions always are toned down, while American concepts tend to not be so radical, and the production versions tend to be closer. I think a big reason for this is because companies like Honda let their engineers and designers really do what they want, they don't restrict them or hold them down with regulations as much. Maybe this is because Honda is lead by engineers and not businessmen?
  5. Finally some ok looking shots of this car. It doesn't look that bad. I still think they messed up on the wheel wells. It looks disproportioned regardless of how big of wheels you put on it.
  6. The LX470 is a confusing vehicle. It is $70,000, completely dated and not stylish what-so-ever. It doesn't look luxury, it just looks oddly shaped, something like an off-roader. Add to the fact that it is barely visually differentiated from the Land Cruiser, the only big difference is the head lights. And yet they still manage to find 500+ people per month to buy them. There must be some really good lease deals. The same can be said about the GX, which is better but still dated (at least it doesn't look mis-proportioned).
  7. Nice go-kart. I'll bet it's really fast cause it's so light. It's going to suck when it rains though :AH-HA_wink:.
  8. They stole the wheels off the new TL-S!
  9. And people blast the RL for only having a 5 speed auto.
  10. "importing humping spawn" "her 30+ year old kids (who are probably leasing an Accord or Mazda)" This is what I'm talking about. Not your own observations working in the auto industry.
  11. You know, if you guys stopped using so many stereotypes and exaggerations, your arguments might actually be worth reading and responding to.
  12. Since we're posting pictures. My favorite v8: And my favorite v10:
  13. They said the Ridgeline was a full-sizer? The Ridgeline is meeting sales expectations (50k per year, two years in a row now), it is anything but a dud. It wasn't meant to be a 200K+ truck.
  14. Don't forget the F-series The F20C and F22C1 in particular (S2000 engines), although they are very similar to the K-series (the heads are actually swappable) and not so similar to the earlier F-series used in the Accords and such.
  15. I don't know about you guys, but I've got my money on the '08 Accord. :AH-HA_wink:
  16. Meh... What truly new offering has ever come out in the truck market?
  17. I'm not surprised. It is a substantial car in the market. I can't say that it was the most deserving, but I honestly don't know. It does offer a hybrid model, which obviously scores some points.
  18. That Pontiac steering wheel is horrid.
  19. It's definitely nicer looking than both of those, which is no surprise since the Accord is 4 years old and the Camry is, well, a Camry. But it looks like it needs to lose some weight in the rear. Or maybe it would look better with larger rims. The black one looks like the back end is sagging, or there is less distance between the rear wheel and the top of the arch. The wheels that are on those pictured Altima's certainly don't do them justice.
  20. Thanks for the pics. It looks better in those real life shots, almost attractive. However it still looks bloated and fat. I think it's the rear end that makes it look that way.
