  1. They had to pick the ugliest color Accord, Burgundy. Yuck. Should have gone with Royal Blue.
  2. I also like it better than the current Silverado. Definitely does the macho styling better and probably can tow and haul much much more. /sarcasm

The problem is your perception that someone can't keep their self-respect and drive a small car.
  4. It is quite common for one person to get well above or well below averages. You might be in a low altitude area with low humidity and cool temperatures. That alone would increase mileage noticeably. Whether or not that is the case; the point is there are many factors that affect mileage, and the EPA estimates have to be indicative of a nationwide average.
  5. Project D? They're just revising the interiors. Unless they're making a special Drift version of the Avenger, I don't think they need to have a special name. Edit: Avenger is Go!
  6. Looks like the same that they did with the Corolla, Camry, and Matrix. Lots of bulges and odd angles going on. It certainly looks a little more interesting than the current RAV4, but not necessarily better.
  7. Are there vehicles still being made that require you to tap the brakes to disengage cruise control?
  8. It is larger than the RL, most noticeably in the rear interior space and cargo volume. RL MMC is supposed to be a rather major MMC and will address its shortcomings; which include rear leg room, exterior front/rear bland styling, and hopefully performance/handling. Performance-wise, it needs active dampers like the MDX and a 6-speed gearbox with a little more aggressively geared ratios. It doesn't take a whole FMC to fix the RL, just tweaks here and there and a good marketing campaign.
  9. Think about it, the bigger they are the harder they fall.
  10. fire's bad? good thing I am an informed consumer and read these releases.
  11. Apparently, otherwise the gmord's wouldn't have won. (/sarcasm)
  12. The body will be made out of wood and styrofoam??
  13. If I was a teacher and heard that, I would grab the gun I keep hidden under my desk, and go to the main office and return the favor.
  14. wow. yet more recalls and faulty parts for Toyota's most important new product.
  15. The way I see it, why does navigation have to be a feature reserved for upmarket vehicles? Navigation is not a luxury feature anymore, it is a feature a lot of people need, regardless of if they own a Cadillac or an Aveo. Honda offers nav on the Civic starting around 20k, nav on the Accord around 28k. Sure it may make up less than 10% of sales, but it's still a chunk.
  16. The lug pattern may be in inches or mm, depending on your car. Civic = 4x100, some old Accords = 4x114.3. The stupid dealer who sold me my Integra (4x100) included an Accord (4x114.3) spare tire. lol Tire sizes go like this: 225 55 16 225 is the width in mm, 55 is the sidewall height as a percentage of the width, and 16 is the size of the wheel in inches. Edit: I hope my memory serves me.
  17. It's that kind of thinking that has held Chevy back.
  18. Which it has. It is holding its own in many comparisons where the last gen wouldn't have even been included. But what I'm saying is, beating out the Accord in this comparo doesn't really mean anything. If the Accord won this it would have been a farce. The Accord is an improvement over the last gen for sure, but it's not a giant step forward like the Malibu is.
  19. Well that was an easy choice... although the last gen Lancer sucked pretty bad too so I'm sure it was close. Since the last Accord was good, I would say it didn't really have a shot at winning.
  20. Honda Mile Makers Now that's how you get your money out of a hybrid! Battery pack replaced once. I wonder at what mileage. Still probably more than most people would give a hybrid credit for. Any Priuiii reach that?
  21. I like this front better too, mainly because they used TSX headlights.
  22. I don't think "wholly" is the best term to use for the Altima MMC (err I mean FMC).
