  1. Just use Verdana, it's better anyway. :AH-HA_wink:
  2. The picture at the top is priceless. Lol. Don't be fooled, Hyundais and Kias still sell based on their price and warranty. The "Assurance Plus" program they offer has only helped things. But interestingly, their sales so far haven't reflected any of this. The quality of materials and design still lags behind the competition.
  3. I would wait if I were you, but if you need something now it would be the HD 4870 1GB hands down. Nvidia can't stay price competitive with ATI at the moment. I haven't been keeping up with GPU's lately, but I believe ATI will be releasing an HD 4890 soon to compete with the GTX280, and undoubtedly nail it on pricing.
  4. What an ugly Integra. Mine is 10x nicer, but I would never let those yaywhos touch it.
  5. or the srx, or the x3, or any other non-comparable crossover SUV thing.
  6. looks pretty neat. if it's more functional than a standard box and doesn't take up more room, then WIN!
  7. I'm surprised at the Camaro's EPA ratings. That's good for GM and good marketing material. I wonder if it will achieve those numbers in real world driving. I also wonder if there have been any sacrifices to achieve those numbers, such as tall gearing, lower rolling resistance tires, etc.
  8. Care to expand on these comments? The Corvette is the biggest piece of crap on the road, in my opinion. I couldn't fit comfortably in the non-existent back seats in that thing to save my life. Why would anybody buy such a heap? <= This is an example of how a vehicle's value is relative to a person's needs. So, you think Hondas are in general extremely overrated, and I imagine if your needs are such that the car you own needs to be domestic, then all imports would be extremely overrated in your opinion. Most comparisons I read these days, from auto rags, comment on how close the competition is getting. No vehicle is rated much higher over another. If the Accord wins a comparo, like it does from time to time, you don't see anyone gushing over it and talking about how it's leaps and bounds ahead of anything. It is generally a very modest win. If I had to take a stab at the most overrated car, I would pick the new Malibu. Sure it's a great car, but it is also highly overrated. Some people think it is a godsend which single-handedly sends the Camry and Accord back to their maker and will bring GM back. In reality, they are all similar vehicles and none stands out substantially over another.
  9. I sat in an Odyssey, and did find a lot of hard plastics. It wasn't the highest trim but I imagine the same hard plastics will be on that model too. I didn't drive it however. I have never driven a minivan and probably never will.
  10. scroll a little down and to the right and there's a bunch of guys staring up. picture must have been taken by a plane.
  11. Looks like a Hyundai concept or something. Absolutely hideous. I can't believe this is an Aston Martin (more like Austin Martin).
  12. Why aren't you all relentlessly blasting the headlights which extend up the hood even farther than the Fit's do? This is a Chevy for crying out loud, and you're about to let them get away with that?! I agree that this is the result of a lot of Asian influence. Given the size (smaller than the Aveo and Fit), I think the design is alright. Could have been much worse. But it could have been better too. Less Korean looking maybe. This does appear to have a more normal hood and windshield design compared to the Fit, which is a plus. I drove the '09 Fit and am not entirely sold on the expansive dash, but the rest of the vehicle is very impressive.
  13. Excellent commercial, from a marketing standpoint. It doesn't really allow the viewer to focus on or see the vehicle much, and is clearly advertising the brand "Lexus". Which is good for Toyota, because that bitch be ugly! And yes, the HUD and pivoting headlights are nothing new, but Toyota does a good job making it seem like they are.
  14. 8GB Patriot XPORTER (black one). Been using it for 8 months now, and works great. Dropped it a number of times, and the shiny surface is fairly scuffed up now. It hasn't missed a beat though. I think it was like $26 when I got it. I'd love to get a 64GB drive, hehe.
  15. l33t h4x! I've probably only put a good 30-40 hours in the game total over the last year and a half, most of that occuring over the course of a month when the game first came out and about 6 months ago when I reinstalled it. The screen shots are from my second time going to level 55. What game types do you guys play? I play almost exclusively Team Deathmatch. I still have the game installed, although I haven't played it in a couple months.
  16. I play but I totally suck. ;-] 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
  17. Finally got some good shots my new car. Plus some with my old car, which I haven't sold yet. Click the images for higher res versions.
  18. Well the Genesis Coupe certainly didn't turn out anything like renderings that popped up prior to its release, so I wouldn't put much stock in these. These almost look to good to be renderings though, almost like someone took a Mercedes PR shot and photoshopped it.
  19. Yes. It is the equivalent of a Toyota assembled in the US, but with mostly Canadian parts content.
  20. Toyota salesmen give you free coffee, poop doesn't. Toyota +1
  21. My car is getting detailed today, I'll have it back in the morning. They gave me a 2007 A4 with 2.0L and 6-speed manual as a loner. Let me just say, it makes me like my car a lot more. The 2.0L turbo is very coarse, and it doesn't develop a lot of power unless you really lay into it. The transmission on the newer models seem to be more to my liking though, with shorter throws and a shorter clutch pedal throw.
  22. Here is a link that should work.
