  1. I assume you're referring to a GXP. The S2000 and GXP are pretty close in performance, I think it would come down to the driver. The GXP would probably be more forgiving to an inexperienced driver, since a poorly calculated shift wouldn't cost them so much. The S2000 weighs about 100 lbs less than the GXP roadster, while the hardtop S2000 CR weighs about 160 lbs less than the GXP Coupe (205 lbs less if you get a no-audio/ac model; and 250 lbs less if you remove the hard top from the CR).
  2. i bought an audi. yes! I knew I wasn't alone.
  3. And no I haven't seen a Solstice hardtop in person, but I highly doubt my opinion will change... Although it might.... But it probably won't.
  4. I was just pulling cars off the top of my head. That aside, go look over an S5 (or an A5) and a Solstice in person. The exterior styling is nowhere in the same league. The S5 may not look quite $100k, but it does look $50-60k. The Solstice looks like what it is, as I said: $20-30k. It looks cheap, and the "look at me" design language doesn't do much for me. The car that the Solstice resembles the most, in my opinion, is the Lotus Elise. It even has a similar looking roofline. I'm not a big fan of the Lotus styling, although I respect its performance.
  5. Lol. It looks like what it is. Much sexier than the Miata, but not 100k sexy. That's like an R8 or S5; not even close. Not now not ever! With a different front and some other tweaks it could definitely look like more than it is. To me it still looks like a bug-eyed Pontiac.
  6. The joke doesn't make sense! An SQL query doesn't join a table. An SQL INSERT query inserts something into a table, although it does not join the table itself. To do so would be preposterous!
  7. I found the advertisement to be fairly humorous. It doesn't seem to really bash foreign cars as it is presented in such a humorous manner. It's almost like a backwards ad for foreign cars. And the Accord coupe on the front cover doesn't hurt. ;-]
  8. The Malibu is doing great considering the economy and the position GM is in. Toyota sales were down 42% last month, which was a larger drop than Honda, GM, or Ford. The Accord sold the most last month, but year-to-date it isn't the best selling, and the Camry is in a better position if you look at year-to-date sales. I can only hope Toyota continues to slide.

    Is this fake?

And you're kidding, right? That is totally fake... Although awesome still. ;]
  10. ding ding ding! But seriously, that's it. The Chinese copy vehicles; now they want to copy electronics and other appliances. Should send them schematics but replace all of the vital areas with pictures of gerbils running on wheels.
  11. Honda is still in the black, reporting a profit for the fiscal year. Most other manufacturers, including Toyota (based on forecasts), are in the negative. It will be close, but Honda may remain profitable through this downturn, sidestepping what would have been their first fiscal year loss ever.
  12. I'd rather walk on a nice day than brandish that giant green box on wheels and subject innocent bystanders to its booger-colored grotesque-ness.
  13. Maybe my vocabulary is lacking, but I couldn't make it past 3 sentences of that article before my eyes glazed over.
  14. And if the marketing department can manage to connect those two ideas, they have done a great job.
  15. Why are they using a Cadillac badge? Is Cadillac going to be marketing this in China? ;-]
  16. Ahh, Billy Mays samples spammed in Left 4 Dead mic, hahahaha!!
  17. Volkswagen Group owns 9 brands, including a commercial brand, while Toyota owns 3. Looks like VW is taking the GM approach to becoming number one. I hope it doesn't bite them down the road.
  18. It's a really tough choice............. but I think I'll go with the Pagani Zonda and McLaren F1 instead. Although I really do like the truck bed. It would come in handy.
  19. I agree with Camino LS6. The question doesn't make sense and is pointless; unless it is a sort of riddle, in which case religion may have been chosen as the topic for the riddle because it will get attention. To provide a solution for the riddle, someone need only state the things they do believe in, and it will be inferred that unstated things are things that the person does not believe in. Or the person can say aloud: "These are the things that I believe in." And then just not list god.
  20. Work smarter, not harder. You can't complain about a job that involves being in close proximity to beer. You simply can't.
  21. Are you seriously considering the Aveo/G3? My vote is 2008-2009 Malibu.
  22. That is a very disturbing and tragic picture. I think the problem is that large trucks like that can be rented from any moving place with just a license and credit card. I'm not saying that was the case in that picture, but it is something that bugs me. Someone could have no experience driving a large truck like that, rent it, have no clue how long it takes it to brake or its handling limits, and plow into somebody and kill them. I think anything over 5000 lbs should require some sort of heavy vehicle license and additional training. That includes some full-size SUVs. People may feel safe in them, but the people around them are less safe if they are inexperienced.
  23. I would hardly consider a GMC/Chevy mid-model SUV, 90's VW Cabri, and an old Porsche luxury cars. ;-]
