  1. LMAO. It's kind of like me putting a quarter on top of one of those elcectic ball thingys, you know, the ones with the glass globe and the centre rising core, and when it's turned on, it gives off waves of purple electric arcs. When you touch the quarter, it zaps you. It's fun with other people too.

Lol! It's something I've seen Mercedes referred to because of that circle thing with the three points in it.

    What if...

Come on, you know! Three-pointed star=Mercedes-Benz DaimlerChrylser is the union of the Three- and Five-pointed stars!
  4. Why? Do have something more fun than Toaster Taunting?

    What if...

Yep! I've had no major problems with Chrysler automobiles. I like their "personality" while in motion, the swoopy cab-forward shapes! I'll take the five-pointed star over a three-pointed star anyday anyway! Not to mention I love their quirks.
  6. You have no idea how much so. Especially this time of year, no outdoor plant stuff to do.
  7. Makes sense to me.
  8. Hey! That's not very nice! I don't have a job right now, so, while preparing a spot of lunch, why not fiddle see what something will do?
  9. In general, I hate bottled water. I will drink it if I have to, though. After I eat sweet things, I just have to drink lots of water. Don't know why. My mom even took me to a doctor to see if something was wrong with me. How unfair!
  10. Saw a red Volkswagen Jetta GLI.
  11. Ok, so I have a Sunbeam toaster. I made some toast with the temperature selection set on "4.5". It was dark brown, but still good. Now the fun part. You know those friends that come up with those "ideas"? Well, I had one at my house today. He suggests to toast bread at selection "7". Do you know what "7" does to bread on this 3823-100 model Sunbeam toaster? It gives you a square charcoal briquette and the scent of burnt popcorn. Now, this just might be me, but I feel that temperature "5" should be "7", or have "5" as the highest setting. Being the pain I am, I sent a statement (not a real complaint) of my opinion regarding this. My most important statement? "We feel that for consumers that desire their products burnt beyond recognition, they should cycle the product through the toaster more than once, and not due to a preset temperature setting." Later discovering that Sunbeam makes electric blankets is rather unnerving. I wonder what "7" on their blanket does?

I quit watching it after season one.

DaimlerChrysler, of course. I'm a Mopar person. There's something about that sparkling five-pointed star!
  14. Frightening, just frightening. You people find the craziest stuff out there.
  15. Nodding in agreement to the above. Why does GM (and Ford) seem to give Europe the best, and whenever something similar is brought, the quality of interiors suffer? I believe Ford's reason was that Americans (supposedly) do not demand the highest technology and sophistication. That's why Europe gets an all-new, Focus. What does the U.S. get? Warmed over leftovers because that's "good enough". Is it so hard to figure out that what succeeds European markets would also succeed in the American market? Opel Astra Chevrolet Cobalt And then there's Chrysler, who, although not with class leading interiors, sees fit to place the same instrument panel in the Neon both here and across the pond. Chrysler Neon Dodge Neon
  16. The Mk. V Golf GTI is a bit too bland. I would take the Opel/Vauxhall Astra GTC over the Golf GTI. The GTC has the visual pizazz and the performance. The Astra is the best Delta-type car, hands down. Why does the U.S. always get something inferior? It's definitely a HOT hatch!
  17. I guess it's just the modernity of GM's newer interiors (on most models) that attracts me. I liked the dash from my Buick Skyhawk. Everything was laid out in a logical manner, and, amazingly, the dash top was padded! In the 1980's, I feel that the Skyhawk had the best J-body interior. Then again, it could just be a bias .
  18. Well, since GM is so decided upon OHV engines, it's only a matter of time before GM gives us something like a 3.9 litre 24V VVT OHV V6 with direct fuel injection :P . Power, um, let's estimate somewhere around 300 hp, eh?
  19. I only had one W-body. It was a 1997 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Z34. Unfortunately, due to the previous owner's neglect, this car was a nightmare for me. A shame, because I thought it was rather handsome in black. The cable to the shifter broke and left me stranded, it had some sort of engine management problem (it idled lumpily and unevenly with stalling, even with new plugs/wires), the transmission was failing (the engine would sometimes just free-rev during acceleration), the moon roof was broke, headgaskets were replaced and began failing again, yes, the alternator failed (big surprise there) and left me stranded at the main light in the left turn lane in the town where I live, and the airconditioning failed during summer #2, and because of that previous owner, something stunk in that car when I first got it, but I reduced the problem so it wasn't seriously noticable. I also didn't care for how the car handled off-throttle. I only had my Monte for one year. I traded it in as soon as I had my little personal loan paid off and got my 1996 Plymouth Breeze. I can say that the Monte is reasonable safe! I was going to Angola one February Sunday after work, and although the freeway was clear, there was slush on the exit ramp. The tail started to slide out. I thought I caught it. But it whipped back the other way, and that was it. Somehow, someway, I spun big time, and the car slammed (driverside, of course) into some massive sign post or whatever. Popped a piece of dash off, no more driverside mirror, no window, cell phone flew out the window, and the door was smashed in and cut in a few places.
  20. There seems to be a general consensus about Michigan citizens not particularly caring for Granholm. I tend to agree, the economy here seems to be stagnating. Uh-oh, there seems to be something vaguely political about the above. Granny needs to lend a bit of aid or more support for the Big 3 (2). The U.S. Definitely needs high tariffs for imported things (especially automobiles) that other nations seem to have.
  21. Ya, I have to agree there. I don't understand what's so great about it either.
  22. Well, Happy Birthday then!
  23. Indeed. GM needs to cut salaries and pay period. Didn't Iacocca convince Chrysler employees to forgo pay at one point in the 1980's during Chrysler's turnaround? Even though he didn't go without pay, I believe he took a cut. GM definitely can't afford (oh, the irony) to cut back on material quality. It's acceptable, but not outstanding right now. If it stays where it's at, designs improve, and profits come, then maybe go for more spongy, silky stuff. Nothing worse, but better soon, I hope. How on God's green earth did FIAT convince GM to agree to that put option? Was saving development costs on diesel engines really worth that outcome? Oh GM, haven't you learnt what happens when you try to cut corners and cheap out?

    IS350 Review

Wow, I do see a slight resemblance. I do thoroughly enjoy this webpage. I stumbled across it a short time period ago. I agree with his statements about Lexus/IS350, not so much others, um, GM comes to mind. Most of the reviews have something distubingly amusing to them.
  25. Haha! Exactly. I only get 28-31 mpg at freeway speeds (less with judicious throttle usage) having a 2.0L four cylinder under the hood, and a four speed bump-shift automatic transferring power.
