  1. Oh, I think DCX is pretty safe from FIAT now days- Ford is trying to get a deal with them now. Ironic, isn't it? But, you know, before GM danced into the Fiasco de FIAT, DCX tried to buy the whole damn thing, or something like that!
  2. Eh, whatever. I believe I will like the new Sebring, as I like most Chrysler products, although I am not a huge fan of the crazangles they're coming out with. And, besides shades of gray, what will there really be to put in the interior of an automobile? Let's see... back?- no, too austere; tan?- no too crappy looking; body colour?- no, I thought the `80's were done; pink?- yeah, that sounds great! And how about some lime yellow and neon orange too? There'll always be something not to like.
  3. The words, the words! You've pulled them from the synapses of my brain! Yes, the Java was neat. Plymouth should still be around.
  4. I've read it and said it before, Chrysler may very well save the company is all continues to go as planned.
  5. For situation 1- tell people. Others at school have told me when my troublesome corduroys come undone. It seems like everytime I wear those, I end up feeling a draft.
  6. Well, the Lucerne is one of the best looking and most stylish Buick automobiles in a little over a decade. It's not a soft blob of nothing or totaly boring, old, and generic. I really like it, and at NAIAS, there were a lot of younger people waiting to sit in the Lucerne, to check it out. I was surprised and proud. Buick is my GM of North America brand. Just waiting for more good looking cars to come, that's all.
  7. Tart or no, Marilyn has always seemed fascinating to me.
  8. So basically you are saying that absolutely nothing in Pontiac's line-up is worth purchasing? Bah! I suppose others may have said this already, but I'm guessing this will be just a Coblat clone with a poorly pasted on Pontiac grille like the Pursuit. Alpha numerics? Blah. Why didn't they give the Solstice some stupid name that was G-Something?
  9. Unfortunately, it's one of the more unattractive minivans. Hyundai/Kia need to get some designers with taste and imagination.

    Next Kia Optima

Another Hyundai clone- yawn. Why doesn't Hyundai just sell of Kia already? There's really no point in keeping it around.
  11. How shocking! Yeah right, as if this were going to be a surprise to anyone other than the Honda mice.
  12. Now, now, wait a minute. How is this any different looking than what they already left on our doorstep?
  13. Incase you didn't know, they really don't have anything to do with Hyundai anymore either. DaimlerChrysler sold off its 10% stake in Hyundai I believe because the German overlords didn't appreciate Hyundai's pride in developing the basic design of DaimlerChrysler/Hyundai/Mitsubishi's, and then sold its stake off. It was part of Schrempp's vision of a "Global Empire". However, DaimlerChrysler still works with Mitsubishi- take the next-generation Sebring for instance. With the way things are going, aside from "engineering prowess" or whatever label they give to German automobiles, I believe Hyundai would be a better bet at helping develop a B-Class car. It would be more cost effective than dealing with problematic Volkswagen. And I agree with Raven that Chrysler should have kept Plymouth. There were so many vehicles that could have saved the brand. The PT Cruiser was going to be a Plymouth, and then there was also the Pronto Spyder which previewed the 2.4L TURBO 4. Let's just hope it doesn't look like that nasty Hornet thing. Ugh!
  14. Hmm, let's sum it up: "The future is now. And it stinks"
  15. Well, I am already disappointed then.
  16. Again and again to reiterate, everyone and everyting has flaws, so just accept the good with the bad and acknowledge the the Caliber is confident and different.
  17. Automobile Magazine had a much better future E in one their issues. The thing shown at Edmunds' is ugly, a horrible CLS chop-thing.
  18. Seems a bit troubling if you ask me.
  19. Could be interesting. I wonder how much worse Chrylser will make the materials on the interior versus the Polo...
  20. One could say that those vehciles couldn't do any drifting, but more of a "Hey guess what? My box can flip through puddles."
  21. You know, I actually like it- the design that is. As far as Chrysler's latest car concepts, I KNOW (and I know others could too) do much better than whoever they're paying.
  22. As a long-time fan of Chrysler, I feel that I am obliged and have every right to make my statement of: "This sucks" or "Disgusting".
  23. Think about it! It's part of brand identity. Like, you could get a fully loaded V6-powered new Volkswagen Passat for the price of the Audi A4 2.0T. Chrysler seems to be making an effort more so now than ever at attempting to differentiate the brands. Chrysler wants its name to be more high-class, worthy of a higher price, and if you can afford it, then you could afford the extra equipment too. It's all the brand. Example? BMW 1-Series
  24. There is virtually nothing uglier than a Pontiac Aztec. Everyone has cheap bits here and there, and no one has any position to determine whether or not the new Sebring etc. will be far inferior to the competition just because of spy photographs, or because they are going to be front-wheel drive. Magazines seem to love the Honda Accord, and it's front drive and "powerful". As long as the finishes of interior plastics are done properly, and they are tightly assembled without rattling or other problems, then quality is technically up to par. Not everything has to be soft and squishy. Honestly, are you really going to be resting you head on the dashboard of an automobile while travelling down the intersate at 70+ mph? I think not. Chrysler has made strides in improving general quality anyway, even before the merger. Eventually things will change, things always do. And, even if GM has made improvements, let's not be getting ideas that they are truly world-class yet. NO American automaker has or is yet. Let's not be having the pot call the kettle black.
  25. Today on I-69, I saw two Saturn Sky's, one was black, the other grey. They are hot!
