  1. You left yourself wide open for that one. Admit it. Interesting that Durex is all over the scale. I guess it isn't much different from the car industry, after all.
  2. A lot of those Vice City cars just don't fit into the theme of the game. A 90s Caprice Estate wagon? It's supposed to be the mid-80s, dammit! Put them in San Andreas, instead. That said, Vice City is the only full-3D GTA game I've picked up. I'll have to reinstall it sometime. I've gotten an all-new PC since the last time I played.
  3. Uncyclopedia, eh? This may become my new favorite web site.
  4. Yeah, but Dan chose to compare mileage to the hybrids rather than the Smart's direct price competitors, where he only cited safety. Some people like buying brand new for some reason... Even if it's a tiny little tin can like the Smart.
  5. If you tell the dealer that you intend to buy down the road, and if that dealer is courteous enough, they should allow you to test drive whatever you'd like -- provided they get a copy of your license. Think about it. If they don't let you test drive their car, what are your chances of ever going back to that dealership?
  6. That's just a rendition done by our own MJDecker. It's a Lambda crossover with the Cheyenne concept's front end. Seeing as how the Cheyenne wasn't well received at this forum, the Chevy Lambda probably won't look like that.
  7. Actually, I do have something to add. Some reading material.
  8. Actually... No. No, you did not.
  9. Why not bring it in as the replacement for the TrailBlazer and name it as such? (In response to Windy) If they can get it to cost less than the Outlook, it'll appeal to a lot more people. Then, the Lambda platform will be less of a showpiece and more of a commodity. That might not be so good for the company, but it'll be great for the consumer.
  10. You're comparing a $12,000 car to a pair of cars that can't be bought for less than $20,000.
  11. Yeah, the steering is very light, but I got used to it. Though, incidentally, I slid off into a snowbank on the second day of ownership due to the light steering (and the sheet of ice I skated over).
  12. Snapping Camshafts, eh? This takes the cake from snapping tailgate cables. Silverados may have a "piston slap" problem, but at least they still run.
  13. An interesting strategy, to say the least. One that will most certainly generate more volume for Toyota.
  14. I just wonder how long it'll be until union efforts in China, India, Mexico, et al become strong enough to level the playing field.
  15. Apparently, "rednecks" aren't human. According to that asshole, rednecks are sub-human. Not that I'm a redneck or anything, but I don't go around and classify them as different than human.
  16. I voted Hybrid, because do believe that in ten years most powertrains will at least have mild hybrid functionality in the form of incremental enhancements (like that advanced alternator that GM had once hyped that can shut off the engine at stoplights). The whopping gas prices are making an impact on the automotive R&D landscape, so we should expect any and all measures to minimize gas consumption. I expect not only this, but also increased distribution of biofuels and hydrogen. How much more commonplace these fuels become will depend on the government's ability to finally say "f@#k you" to the oil companies.
  17. Hmm, the MDX is the first crossover to beat out the SRX in C&D's comparisons.
  18. I'm just saying what it looks like to me. I don't get too much excitement out of spy shots, especially mules. I prefer to know what the final performance numbers are rather than speculate over what we think might power the car. All I get from this is that the next NSX might have a V10, and that there is, in fact, a next NSX coming soon. That said, the video that Siegen posted says much more to me than any number of photographs.
  19. Wow, the Cobalt really needs a new interior (though for the record, that's the pre 2007 head unit). As for the Japanese vs Global Corolla... I'd much sooner get the Japanese market model. But that's kinda like choosing being hanged over a lethal injection.
  20. Yeah, but how much of a premium did you pay over a non-hybrid Civic? When the prices get up to $5/gallon (I know, they're getting there), it'll be a more justifiable purchase, I think.
  21. Lamborghini Murciélago Aston Martin V12 Vanquish Cadillac Sixteen
  22. Hmm... Winning such a vehicle would resolve my near-future need for a vehicle with direct back-seat access... But I'd really rather not have to worry about the extra taxes I would owe due to the win. Pass.
  23. Nukes right at the first major conflict of the Cold War? That would have gone over well...
  24. Waait a minute... I just caught this: That better not mean it's gonna be made in China.
  25. You're right, you are blind. The Skylark name is more memorable than the Excelle name (which sounds like a Hyundai, to be perfectly honest). Hopefully, it's not memorable for the wrong reasons. Whatever the name is, I just hope the car is best-in-class (even if it's only-in-class).
