- 1980s G-body coupes. Not that I never see them but seems like their numbers dropped by 90% in the last 3 years. - Pontiac Fieros I actually got excited when I saw one the other day. - 1980s Cadillac Fleetwood Broughams As most of you know, I've had several 1970s & 1980s RWD Cadillacs for daily drivers and around here it used to be quite common to see 25-30 year old Cadillacs being daily driven by seniors & or young enthusiasts like myself. Sad to say I no longer see many old school Caddys on the street. Even 3 years ago you couldn't swing a dead cat without hitting an '87 Brougham and now I'm lucky if I see more than a couple in one whole day.

Thanks guys. I made the snub-nose machine gun hood ornament from a .50 cal German MG from my (Me.109G / Ju.88 A4) Mistel 1 kit. (it would be mounted in the nose of the plane if it were a regular production Ju.88)

I can't help here except to add that the diesels were sourced from Isuzu.

Quite a solid, durable chassis. This might not be a bad deal, idiot owner aside. The "w140" hardtop is amazingly impressive. The window glass is 3-sheets, it seems like the damn car's door/glass is bulletproof.

Thank you, that 1930 model-A in the background of the last photo was another basketcase, there were like two dozen pieces missing off it, half of them in the bottom of the dusty, crusty box it was tossed into. I used the Model-A & Model-T parts cars from that box to piece it back together. It was unpainted, molded in grass green. I painted it in navy blue & then sanded it down to give it a somewhat convincing patina.

Moltar: I wish 1902 was almost like 1962. Seems like i pay a lot more 4 for my magazines, books & antiques from the turn of the century than I do for the same from the early 1960s. Should've traded my1962 Special for a Brass Era Car. =/

I NEED those Cadillacs!!!

I've had quite a few 5-speed cars for daily drivers. I racked up about 20k miles in my 5-speed 1991 Blazer S-10 4x4 (4.3 V6) in less than a year, then later between the two 1st gen. 5-speed Datsun Maximas I owned I drove probably about 45k miles. Those cars were cool, inline-6 w/ IRS, RWD nice easy clutch & shifter linkage. I wish my '68 Camaro had been a 4-speed, though its ratchet B&M shifter was as fun as an automatic gets.

Never driven a RHD car, though many Americans have asked me ''what's it like to drive on the left side of the road?" when I tell the I'm originally from Slovakia. So then I have to explain it's only the UK, Australia, Japan & a few island nations that still drive on the left side of the road.

Back in the days when I was renting the house with huge barn we at the T.W.C.C. often times discussed oddball cars, the Chevette scooter was one of my personal favorites for years and one time XP found a diesel Chevette on Craigslist/newhampshire but it was not to be. Even more of a fascination of mine is the Pontiac T1000. I always thought they should have done a Terminator tie-in. I've only seen TWO T1000sin the 21st century. One was in a junkyard that is now long gone & the other was in the parking lot of a retirement home.
