  1. Yup... sounds a lot like waht happens wiht my freinds and family, though to directly effect 5 sales in half a year is damn impressive!
  2. Earl joined GM in 1928... hence the 1929 "Pregnant Buick" disaster. Here's some of my favorite Buicks:
  3. Happy B-day dude! :) Nice to see you made it back, my G/F was the 13th.
  4. Go rub one out on the hood of the GA. It'll make you feel better. :alcoholic:
  5. If the car is driving fine, the MPG and performance are not affected then take your time. MOst used cars I get I replace the spark plugs and by the time that they need to be replaced the car is long sold.
  6. Oh! Damn I can't believe I forgot about this!!! I kind of sort of "know" this kid with an ex-State Trooper Caprice. 1995 or 96. He still has it painted in the original blue and gray but the numbers and lettering has been removed. He drives the piss out of the car and is always seen on 495. The other day he was on the side of the road pulled over by a real Statie in a CV. I was like WTF? I rubber necked and I dropped my speed down just in case. And yes Fly a Crown Vic is something I would consider buying. Possibly even new.
  7. Saying to an Astro owner/potential customer that he should trade in his Astro for an Uplander is about as pathetic as when in 1997 Chevy salesman told people looking for a Caprice to buy a Lumina instead. Pathetic and laughable!
  8. Here's how I rate them: Citroen: super cool! Hope we get one soon. Alfa Romeo: Bring 'em here, also very awsome! Lancia: I'd like to see them here but not obsessed wit them. Puegeot: pretty neat but eh, whatever. Renault: Still laughing at the last Renaults we got in the 80s. :P
  9. If the Camaro does not become a reality (please god NO!) I'll own one of these in the next fe years.
  10. Always loved that Avocado Candy Apple metallic. HW made it famous in the 60s. :)
  11. Razor: Hell yeah that's a vynil top I could learn to love! Esp. wiht the hockey stick SS stripes & interior in matching Ivory white! Hmmm... os it is 1978. That was the best selling year for Camaros.
  12. I'm probably going to get burned at the stake for this but the profile and a few desing details (of the Profile) kind of got resurrected in the INfiniti FX45/35.
  13. P.S. he Bel Air concept pretty much sucked. It was boring and bland and the high grille was very poorly executed. THIS IS A BEL AIR: THIS IS NOT! For starters the grille should have some detailing and some bullet bumperettes and should be located down LOW. This thing looks like it was designed by the guy who did the Toyota Sienna and Honda Accord. <_<
  14. 99Camaro: The 3rd gen. evolved into the 4th gen. which became a dead end road. The 4th gen. Camaro, as good as it was is partially responsible for this B.S. "hiatus". IN the end the BEST Camaro was the 1st gen. That was a true Musclecar wiht no excuses or compromises. Ad yet it was the most comfortable (relatively speaking) and did not have some of the later half-assed annoyances like the non true dual exhausts, catalitic converter hump, poor visibility issues and lack of identity issues that resulted from bland styling. A coupe in the form of the 1st gen. car is the perfect way to go. A fresh start. The new Caamro will be retro. Maybe it will be 10% retro wiht just a hint of '69 or maybe it will make the Mustang look modern wiht it's all out throwback to the 60s. Either way as long as it looks like a Camaro I'll be happy. Well executed retro kicks ass!
  15. You of all people should know what a Valve coil is. Next you'll tell me you don;t know what a Whatsama-Flange is. This morning I was checking my blinker fluid and I noticed my sproket recirculator widget was al out of wack so I hit it with the left handed hammer a few times and fixed it. The trouble is I broke my trnasceiver gizmo in the process. ;)
  16. Absolutley. I made them for everyone's enjoyment. :) Just right-click those puppies and they're yours!
  17. That's the the whole point. Fathom green wiht no stripes, no chrome and the base wheels wiht dog dish hubcaps makes this the bigest sleeper of all time!!! I'd take one of these suckers over any HEMI Mopar ever made! This car back in 1969 was the equivelant of a Cobalt LS coupe wiht steel wheels abnd plastic hubcaps but a LS7 under the hood!
  18. WTF? Since when do Daimler Benz and VW partner up? WEll, I guess if GM can sell 6-spd autopmatic trans. to Ford and call it a pertnership then why not.
  19. This would be a kick ass RWD lineup: GTO ---> four door version called Tempest or Grand Prix Camaro ---> four door and wagon versions called Nova or Chevelle Skylark/Regal ---> four door & wagon versions called Invicta P.S. of course there would be disticnt styling for the separate models.... a Chevelle would NOT be just a Camaro wiht four doors.
  20. A Rebadged SRX wiht the Centime's styling is a perfect replacemetn for both the Terraza & the Ranier.
  21. I was just dreaming. Although a super low production $45,000 Camaro ZL1 wiht the LS7 is not unrealistic. If the ZL1 on ebay is worth $840,000 then why not $45 or 50K for a new one wiht superior performance? Esp. if they only made 69 copies of them just like in 1969.
  22. Most of you have already seen these. Just some of my favorite Alfas from the past few decades. That 8C concept is awsome!
  23. The highest priced Camaro of all time so far is the '68 Z/28 ragtop buuilt for Pete Estes. That went for $1,050,000 at Barret Jackson last year. If I had the money i'd give him a $1,000,000 for the car as long as he threw in the '67 ragtop in the last pic.
