  1. Speaking of crazy longevity: I once almost traded in a 1984 Cavalier sedan 2.2/auto at Chevrolet of Lowell. The car was gold with very minor rust issues, tan interior MOSTLY intact and everythign there including the original radio. It had 288K miles on the clock and ran like a Civic at 190,000. Even the GM enthusiast in me was amazed. Truly incredible.
  2. I don't care what you guys say, I love the styling of these Buicks. Always reminds me of these: Not the best looking Camaro but still looks tons better than a '74 Mustang!!!
  3. Holy shit!!! I'll even get one for my '68 if it hits the market! Awsome. Gotta love win-win solutions!

This thread is AWSOME!!!! What's the difference between boogers and broccoli? Little kids will not EAT broccoli. ---- A guy hears a knock on his door so he walk over and opens it. There's no one there so he turns to go back inside the house but notices a slug on the porch so he picks it up and throws it into the woods about 100 feet away from the house. Three years go by and one day the guy get's a knock on his door and when he opens it there's no one there... but he notices the slug on the front porch again who says: "What the hell was that all about!?"
  6. Sept. 20th.... My Ex-Girlfrieand Misty's, college buddy Kevin's and old H.S. buddy Alex's birthday.
  7. Yup, it was the sloped rear window on the C.D.V. that still gives a slight hint of the good old days... (bubble tops & hardtops) while the very upright sqared off rear on the F.B. gives the greenhouse a much more conservative and 80s look. But aseveryone else poited out there are several other differences, some cosmetically obvious while others a mild tweek or rework. To a laymen they might never notice half of the physical differences.
  8. I'd rather have two heads than three nipples. What if my other head looked like this and I was REALLY flexible... perhaps had a rib or two removed...
  9. Thanks Ocnblu... now without cheating who will be the first to explain to me the biggest difference between the CoupeDeVille in my driveway and the Fleetwood Brougham Coupe in my sig.? There's one thing that is completely different between the two cars. Worlds appart as far as I'm concerned.
  10. 95 Century... that sucker will run forever. Well built cars. I'm no fan of FWD as anyone here wil tell you but a '95 Century is a reat alternative to a Camry if you want a car that will go the distance.
  11. Screw that. Don;t go preaching your Communist propaganda here. I'd like THIS for a daily driver: :P
  12. Camry al the way here in Mass... trust me! Sable second and Century third.
  13. I voted Integra/Legend but I think the #1 "white trash" car has to be the a tie between the Escort and FWD Monte Carlos. PLenty of NASCAR stickers adn duct tape all over them round these parts.
  14. That's what I voted. Most of the Sciaons I see (even the tC) are driven my Baby boomers. <_<
  15. It's funny cause it's true. LMAO. In all seriousnes this thing has a great profile. The lights and fascia are too busy but it's pretty unique and interesting. I'll take weird and wacky over bland as toast. Big improvement over the 500.
  16. Hmmm... sounds familiar. 1969 2005 I wanted to post pictures of a 2006 Camaro, or a 2006 Oldsmobile but I couldn't find any... Also it seems ther's no such thing as a RWD Impala or for that matter a coupe Impala. Hardtop Chevys are completely extinct. A Deville coupe is not popping up on Google, or a hardtop (2 or 4 door).... WTF!?!?! [/sarcasm]
  17. One final thought: :puke:
  18. I voted Uplander but G6 is just as good of a candidate. <_<
  19. really? I was going to guess Olds by the graphics.
  20. For those who have never seen a two headed snake:
  21. How crazy is this? I've seen two headed snakes before but never a Turtle!
  22. 1979 Coupe DeVille. Damn it Balthazar you're so freekin' good it get's annoying. J/K :) By the way the car in question is Firethorn Red wiht a white interior. Look for pics. later on today. The story of this car and several other incidents plays out like a Twilight Zone episode. Weird stuff. I'll try to post the details tonight.
  23. Two Buick V8s huh? That I did not know. I'd love to drop a nailhead 7.0 liter into a '32 Roadster. I'm sure it's been done but it woud be much more unique than a flathead or SBC.
  24. This makes SIX cars in my driveway now (counting the demolition derby Mazda).... see if you can name the sixth: here's some clues: 1. It was made in the year of my birth (MY is also the year of my birth) 2. Although it's been repainted, it is still the original color: Firethorn Red 3. It shares a lot of parts wiht another car in my driveway 4. I've owned a few cars from this Manufacturer but never this model 5. It has a 7.0 liter enigne Pictures and a complete story to follow. :)
  25. Always loved that one. The name Centuy suits this car.
