  1. TRC: Some sort of Armageddon is bound to happen anyway, sad to say. There is a lot of irresponsibility both amongst those in power & the clueless, apathetic masses.
  2. XP's dad has a 110 Parts car sedan. Well... it's the rusty remains of 40% of what was once a '40 Packard 110. I wanna buy it & make a Rat Rod.
  3. Now we're getting somewhere.
  4. I agree 100% but you've missed the point. But since we're on the topic: My buddy works at a Breakfast Cereal plant, they make a batch of cereal, half goes in the BRAND NAME boxes, another 20% in Store X brand & the remaining 30% in Store Y brand. Literally.
  5. Success or Failure of the Camaro, Challenger & refresh Mustang has little to do with their quality/appeal or price point. There's a world wide financial crisis & thousands of people are losing their income every day for Gods sake! That being said the Camaro & it's Mopar & FoMoCo cousins will be collector's items & are already legends in their OWN TIME.
  6. First off, I'm pretty shocked that I was not the cause for my own thread to get locked. I must be slacking. Second, those of you who showed respect for critical thinking & keeping an open mind & sharing your opinion in an era quite possibly as volatile & unpredictable as any in the history of mankind, Thank You. Now for just a little something to satisfy Dodgefan's curiosity: My wife Julie alerted me to this the other day. A friend of hers in another state contacted her Congressman about the upcoming Codex Alimentarius proposals (as in: the locked thread) Some of you will read between the lines, others will dismiss it as bull$h!. Whatever. I care not to convince those that don't believe. But those of you that do care &/or want to hear the other side I think it's obvious Congressman Simpson is saying that we as American citizens, or in this case, Idaho residents, are not smart enough to make our own choices about food. Esp. regarding the issue of organic versus "regular". Read between the lines and you just might see the ugly truth. For the record I've seen the original document but feel it would be overstepping Julie's friend's privacy to post the scan of it.
  7. You had nothing to contribute... oh well. Move on. I'm just saying your incessant stupidity & toilet humor gets old after a while. If had $0.10 for every idiotic non-sequitur you post on C&G I'd have enough money to convert every '10 Camaro in existence into a hardtop. :AH-HA_wink:
  8. Excellent point Camino. Would have made a great 2nd gen. Pontiac Polaris. (even though the 1st didn't exist in production form)
  9. BV: So was this thing based on the VW 410? It's all good. They all look like awkward rejected design proposals from the GM design studios circa 1948.
  10. How about the f**ksticks who never use them AND refuse to check their blind spot as they drift in/out of lanes on the Interstate. Some retarded broad in maroon Jeep Liberty nearly drifted into my lane TWICE today. Both times I had to be the one to take evasive action. Normally I'd just be annoyed but I was with Julie & the girls in the BMW, so the 2nd time I flipped the F*** out and blared my horn for a good 15 sec. _FAIL is right.
  11. Truth in advertising. I wouldn't expect a 13 oz Kitty Cat to sound like a mountain lion. You mean OUR money!
  12. The only story, I'm afraid is that I'm a junk collecting pack-rat & I enjoy sifting through old junkyards & swap-meets. I found that metal plate on some big land yacht that also had a USAF parking permit on the front bumper & so I grabbed it. It was perfect for the Super 88.... the colors & period-correct metal-stmping of the plate added to the car's charm. IMO. I miss the Super-88. But I love the B-59 which is more rare & unique.
  13. Thanks 4 sharing.
  14. We have cats as well (as you know) and I understand. Sorry for your loss. P.S. Thanks for being a responsible pet owner. The right decision is often times the hard one to make. Life is a roller coaster.
  15. John Lennon Collection.
  16. If your brain ever experienced a moment of non-sarcasm would you just suddenly cease to exist? I mean really? Maye it would be like Nirvana...? You'd leave this & all existence altogether.
  17. Reminds me of the BiCentenial LeSabre I bought from the kid who dragged here from Nebraska, the same one I sold to FlyBrian two years ago. It had an Electra 225 fender on the pass side, so the driver's side had the appropriate three ventiports but the pass. side had FOUR! (so it was a LeElectra 125?! )
  18. Squeeky clean, burgundy metallic 1980 Camaro steel-roof. I know it was an '80 cause it had one of those fake "imitation" novelty pates on the front that said: ''80[heart]BEAT" in a California style plate. Didn't grab my camera fast enough. MINT!!!! 1989 Jaguar XJ-S V12 coupe in platinum/saddle at the junkyard. It has been awaiting a title for about 2 years, the search proved futile so it was taken ot of the high-value cages & left out for the vultures to pick apart. Less than a week later the doors, interior, wheels, nose, fenders, decklid, lights & grill were gone. The kicker...? It was perfectly drivable!!! ------- That's a "daytona yellow" 1970 Chevelle with the SS "tuxedo black" stripes. Could be a 350, 396 or 454
  19. Back to the topic at hand: Discuss. ---- I'll accept an apology from you, Croc when "task forces" start closing & raiding farms like the BATF did in Waco Texas to a cult just about 16 years ago. Do I like cults? NO. But do I like the Government killing 80 people, many women & children to prove a point & demonstrate their "leg breaking capability"? Well, you know damn well I don't.
  20. Wow... "call a doctor?" Just.... wow.
  21. Well I for one would love to "park" that rotted mess in a glass case in the wing of my dream house. Just like a big conversation piece... They should not mess with that car at ALL beyond cleanup. The fact that a "parts car" is being used is dumb. No matter how rotted a part on Miss Belvedere detracts from her appearance it's still ORIGINAL & as such should stay on. The ONLY possible exception being the rear springs so the car once again has a proper stance.
  22. I disagree. That 5-series is the epitome of clean, sleek, timeless styling.
  23. PCS: Your Sig. is divine. Hmmm, good point.
  24. Well said. I'm on the same wavelength... I too would consider these sites a Mecca.
  25. I've got a few screws loose and love these cars to death, so I might pay up to $100 or so for THIS: http://cgi.ebay.com/1-18-Autoart-Mercedes-...%3A1|240%3A1318 So far the most I've spent on once individual model was $89 for the super-low production #s 1987 Buick GNX. I have it at my parent's house in a plastic case. It's
