  1. _WANT!!!! I need one of those, I'll power my Peterbilt 359 Rat Rod with one! Funny thing is, I was considering a trivia question today based on the carrier-based U.S. Navy aircraft of WWII. Great minds think alike.
  2. How many of those deaths are directly a result of the Flu I wonder? How many are because people do not get hospitalized until it's too late or blow off Dr.'s warnings?
  3. While I can certainly appreciate & respect this kind of hard work, esp. since I did landscaping throughout college as one of my many part time jobs, I'm not motivated enough to ever do much in this way for myself. The only thing I plan on having in my my front yard once I own a house is dandelions & a few scary Rat-Rods. The B-59 would be the one to get garage space.
  4. Move along, forget the tinfoil hat, there's nothing to see here....
  5. LoL @ Siegen. While it's not a "looker" it's way more attractive than a Ridgeline, Camry, New "bucktoothed" Acuras, Element, Versa, Prius, Tunrda, MDX, Sebring, Taurus & a bunch f other new cars.
  6. "Intrepid 2.0" ???? So now you're going for the 2.0 liter Neon motor swap???? :AH-HA_wink:
  7. DAMN STRAIGHT! I learned to drive on a Pontiac, my family has bought several and my parents, esp. my father would consider it his favorite brand... we've bought a few Chevys but he always preferred Pontiacs for their sportier style. When working as a salesman for Bill DeLuca Chevrolet/Pontiac GMC/Buick I sold my parents their 2001 Grand Am GT, ordered with EVERY single option available except for the engine block heater since it's not necessary here in Southern New England. They still have that car, it's their most favorite car they've ever had.... My dad would buy a G8 in a heartbeat if it were in the budget and the only reason they bough the Cobalt is because either way, even if they had the G5, you're sill buying a Cobalt. The Grand Am stands out quite well against the Malibu or Century. (same price range)
  8. Best use of a Van since the A-Team.
  9. P.S. Fu*$ You Heart (the band) for selling out and giving them rights to "Barracuda"
  10. http://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/ctd/1129597920.html optional 305 "4" valve v8 even am fm stereo that rocks!!!! needs nothing but... one of those bobble head dogs in back window!!! Always wanted to find one of those elusive DOHV, 32-valve 305s.
  11. Five pages later, there's the answer. Another reason to kill your TV.
  12. no... that's why I was giving you a hard time.
  13. That Pontiac 6000 ad is so _epic fail it makes me see RED. I want to shoot the marketing guy in the face with a .12g its so bad!
  14. Yo momma sooooo FAT she even has mayonnaise with her Tylenol!
  15. Pillars A, B, C, D, E, F on a Ferrari: hawt.
  16. I was there recently to document XP's Suburban turning 1/4 million. We barely have time to hang out anymore since both of us have two jobs, & girls who demand our time, but he stopped by my house so I could document 249,999 & 250,000 miles on the odometer.
  17. I love my '84 Mercedes, but then again it's the antithesis of a stereotypical 1980s car. RWD V8 hardtop (pillarless fixed roof) low MPG high on mass, safety & practical bells/whistles bulletproof mechanicals well engineered pain-free electronics speedometer goes 55mph PAST 85 complete lack of rectangular sealed beam headlights, foglights etc. not a 90 degree corner ANYWHERE inside or out
  18. somewhat? It's 99.99999% "private"
  19. LOL @ Balthy's last answer. WHAT model year is the POS?
  20. - - - - Year & make will be sufficient.
  21. If anything I've been doing a lot of catch-up on the small repairs on the 500SEC. Today on my lunch break I finally disassembled, repaired & reassembled the glove box door, including the hand-cut wood trim... & I added a Mercedes benz emblem (the aluminum silver-dollar style one) to the outer egde.
  22. The Sky would make a fantastic "Stingray" Just add chrome.
  23. I'm almost numb from all this back & forth. For the record, I too take this with a grain of salt. Time will tell. Yup. GM is like a super hot old G/F that you love/hate. It's like just when the nasty personality reminds you of what you're NOT missing... the mini-skirt & a whiff of that perfume makes you reminisce.
  24. Yup... I guess it was a bit too easy. 6.4 liters of two-piece-cast bock 4-cylinder & it even had a REAR mounted transmission eight decades before the 5th gen. Corvette.
  25. I arrived at the Indianapolis 500 having been just completed, untested & unknown to the public. Still, I managed to finish a respectable 11th place and later this fact was used in a marketing campaign. The next year we (as a brand) won 25 of the 30 races we entered! Later, one of my derivatives was named after an exotic fictional animal which could be called a Ursidae-Felinus. This car is best remembered in yellow with a very spartan body, monocle windshield & massive four cylinder engine. Also, one of my ancestors ran a solo cross country endurance race known as the Cannonball Run.
