  1. Cruze LTZ after Cruze LTZ...in 5 different colors today on the same street. The Ice Blue stood out the most, in a good way.
  2. Been awful. Especially on Memorial Day, at work in the scorching heat in a showroom with A/C that can't seem to keep up, for a stifling glass box room. Same was true then Tuesday & yesterday, but out back is cool. Thankfully apartment remains cool & comfy no matter what. Driving home Monday afternoon so hot, my CX-9's auto A/C set to 72 stayed at level 5 fan speed the entire drive until I got to my street...then level 4. Just HOT. Today, off, just walked to the barber...it's gorgeous. Blue sky and right around 80, but doesn't feel oppressive...just nice.
  3. 2012 Focus sedans everywhere, in every color and trim level, around Philly. They've just appeared, more quickly and frequently than I expected. Almost see them as often as Cruze's now. A base model charcoal one tonight. Still figuring out that front end... On the GM front, one of the used car wholesalers we work with showed up in a 10k mile Victory Red '10 Camaro SS RS 6-spd with black stripes, black windows and custom black wheels he just bought. Wheels were different, but sounded great. Then today a new silver Camaro SS convertible showed up at work...briefly. Random kid.
  4. New silver Camaro SS convertible top down pulling onto highway, followed by red Camaro SS convertible right behind...paired up, on Sunday afternoon. I see more convertibles now around Philly than I expected, so quickly.
  5. Bottoming out/high-centering is one think. But the "poof" and instant drop of the front end was very hydraulic like. There is no reason, looking at the vehicle vs. bump, for that to happen otherwise, especially with the sound made. At least in my opinion. Classified information, so it's hard to ever know for sure what makes that car what it is. Looks like it hit, and then because the undercarriage was hit where it was, something was triggered to drop. Still weird, but "woosh" drop.
  6. Base model '05/06 dirty black CTS with the standard smaller silver wheels...and factory style "V" badges. Cruising slowly. Too slowly.
  7. New silver 2012 Ford Focus hatch cruising up my street, not bad. New navy blue 2011 Chrysler 300 base V6 model with temp tags on the highway, in traffic. Elegant, clearly a 300 but refined.
  8. Volt! Nice, Roger. Traveled north to Clinton, NJ early this afternoon in a new TSX sedan to swap it for a new TSX wagon at another dealer. On the way... -New black TSX wagon on the road -Silver '11 F-150 Raptor crew cab at a Ford dealer in/near Flemington, NJ -New silver '11 Volt at a Chevy dealer also in Flemington
  9. "Interactive Drive Control System with Sport, Tour and Standard modes" per the Buick site.
  10. Driving through Philly tonight on Broad St...a black Sunfire, with complete body kit, glowing black and with Knight Rider lights on & flashing accordingly in the hood scoop up front... I almost crashed just watching it pass by. Wow. Hardcore effort put into making it too...Sunfire and all...and the driver was proud.
  11. '11 Mazda CX-9: Liquid Silver Metallic, Mazda code 38P. '11 GMC Terrain: Quicksilver, GM code 17U or GAN. '93 Cadillac Fleetwood: Cotillion White, GM code 40U. ^^The 3 I know within the family.
  12. Inferno Orange with black top, 2011 Camaro SS/RS convertible ahead of me in traffic on 76 heading into Philly this morning. Awesome.
  13. Wowza. Love it. Delaware...watch out!
  14. Thanks again! Someone else did askthis...no new cars yet...I had been driving a new Acura TSX for 2 days as a loaner, but nothing else new. No gifts to me. Except stopping at a Mazda dealer to buy paint and a cargo net today.
  15. This place is right down the street from me, and their collection epitomizes crazy.
  16. New stretch Hummer H2 limo, with high top conversion...down the street at Ali Baba limos. They have the craziest collection, Ferrari included. From their site: Drove past for the first time this morning, this one out front and
  17. Very cool! Sounds like a great move to make, and especially when a big truck is involved
  18. New red metallic '12 Focus hatch, upper level model, cruising the street. Not bad, at least decked out, but definitely different.
  19. Wow. There are crazy circumstances, but to then be killed in an accident on the way to making funeral arrangements for grandchildren killed in a fire...wow. Crazy. What a time it must be to listen to it in person.
  20. Thanks guys! Went home last weekend to a surprise party that was for me. Today was quiet & a long work day. Hope to do some more celebrating this coming weekend. 25. Quarter century. Feels so not different.
  21. Leaving work late on Tuesday, in the dark and drizzle, a new Inferno Orange '11 Camaro LT RS convertible pulling out of a place not far from where I work, behind me. Hot car. The next day, a new red crystal '11 Camaro SS RS convertible, looked just freshly delivered, at a red light. Stood out because it had a few extra chrome bits added, door handle covers I think and something else on the side...
  22. Almost 2 months in now, I finally made it back home for Easter and my birthday this weekend, and got to check out the Terrain a bit more. Up to 2300 miles now, and yellow with the insane pollen here. More importantly, got the parental review of it. Miss the Camaro because it was a Camaro, but otherwise so far this ute is perfect for them. With the 3.0L and AWD, almost unexpectedly because of some reviews, mom & dad both like the power and--more so--are happy that it is getting better mpg's daily than the Camaro ever did for her. Mom could never seem to break 20 too often with her commute in the Camaro, now with the Terrain AWD it's 22-23 without fail, daily. Dad's gas happy, so that says a lot. "I drove the 4-cylinder ones...no way, no thanks" was repeated again. Weird that the 3.0L here takes a "regular" old oil filter below vs. the Camaro's 3.6L with a cartridge, is interesting. Dad also, for some reason, didn't think the Terrain and Equinox were related because the GMC looks bigger and completely different to him...nice. He said he's also finally started to notice others around, since she got one, neighbors, etc. Not a large SUV, but positively HUGE inside. Back seat, front seat, all around. Mom & I went to get coffee, and sitting in front, it feels bigger and airier than my larger CX-9 up front. Didn't drive, but impressed by the silence, solid big SUV refinement, and also very quiet 3.0L. Just a smidge of V6 burble, but all very muted and SMOOTH. Really like it, and am again so glad I pushed enough to get her back to a GM lot, after looking at Hyundais, etc. No comparison. Hope this one is around a while. Summer finally or not, also to see how the little AWD trucklet digs through the snow.
  23. Misplaced/missing keys...the bane of a dealer's existence, especially when sales & service get involved. "The machine says you have it"..."No I don't"...searching...never to be found. Happens, even though it shouldn't. When it comes to new style keys such as this, they definitely need to get the right equipment, for sure. It's hard to keep up when things change, but no excuse. All in all, sounds like they handled the experience well, even a wasted trip or not. More than just a sorry, a complimentary next oil change. How many miles are you up to now?
  24. Truckload full of new Focus sedans and hatches cruising past down the street. I liked the view from afar, like new Euro small sedans/hatches rolling in.
  25. Copper Sunburst...special edition factory orange...2003 CTS with some dents & dings and scuffed up wheels, outside Target.
