  1. Big silver Equus cruising down the street in south Philly. Older couple inside, going slowly. Big stately car but nondescript, every once in a while I see one. Same here, just before following the Equus. I really, really like the look, size and package of the Veloster. Most colors except for red, green, etc. also look good.
  2. This was simply awesome. Hard to get any real or serious points across on this show, given the tone and characters, but he showed off well.
  3. New black 2013 Lincoln MKS, slightly dirty, PA tagged. Just cruising down the street. The new grille made me notice it, then as it passed...eh, same ole, same ole. On a rough street in west Philly a little before that, a black Isuzu Ascender XL...the Isuzu Envoy with Trailblazer wheels, etc. Been a while.
  4. First and finally official, we can sell it, I can post pictures...2013 Acura RDX. Arrived today. Beautiful little ute-let.
  5. Awesome, Roger. Congrats. Cute puppy. There's nothing like a dog.
  6. Very cool! And very interesting she could get out of a Cube lease early with that much equity. Hmm, resale. The fact that she want STUFF for it is even cooler. My younger "I have a new car again" mother is a big Soul fan. Not sure how or why, but based on the looks and then finally the hamster marketing, she loves them, would buy one, and told my father he should when car browsing recently. Has never been in one but loves them. Cool move. Congrats ocnmom.
  7. So strange. Perpendicular to me at a red light, what I thought was a gray last gen Lexus GS...with a very strange front bumper that looked damage. 3 looks later and again confusion, I finally realized it was a new 2013 with the fang/angled new front end. High ride height. Old look. Strange. But definitely a 2013. In other words, a Lexus.
  8. Correct info above. All the information from the current owner, title included, and then appropriate NJ transfer and registration forms.
  9. Great choice. Not an exciting ride but hard to go wrong with a clearly pampered Camry WITH V6 and nice options. Looks hardly worn. Interesting how after that gen, they got a bit fresher but then also cheaper and cheaper year by year until the new 2012 re-do. The V6 should be good forever, if maintained.
  10. A new white BMW 5 GT in traffic yesterday. Bleh. Been a while. I'm glad.
  11. Driving past a Ford dealer this afternoon near West Chester, PA, a new white 2013 Taurus. Same Taurus but the wheels and front grille caught my eye, with it pulled up on a podium.
  12. Cool Jeep! And welcome back, Ted.
  13. New crystal red 2013 Malibu Eco with PA Disabled tags parked outside Costco. Then as I turned the corner a 2011 current/last gen Malibu LT 4-cyl in the same color, parked nose to nose with it. The 2013 looked great in person.
  14. That's bad. Really, really, really bad. Like the Lincoln MKS running around my parent's in Delaware that's dark maroon with a tan "riveted" top, and oh yeah, a trunk metal "luggage rack" like the old days. I sold a new 2012 Acura RL to a customer last month who was coming out of a 2001 Lincoln Continental with a cloth top. She put all of 39k miles in 11 years on the Continental. Wanted a cloth top and chrome wheel well moldings. Luckily after discussion and honestly them not making such items for the car, we decided on simply 2 chrome Acura A's on the C-pillars. Cloth tops...should expire away entirely.
  15. The new 2013 Acura RDX. Crawled all over it at training this morning. Excellent upgrade from the current vehicle. Looks exactly like a mini MDX and no more awkward aardvark nose. Smoother, quieter, roomier, more power and huge fuel economy bump, looks great. Already been released, and I took a photo but then was directed by our Acura rep I cannot post it anywhere. Embargo'd until month end. Oh well.
  16. Errands tonight. Passed by the Toyota/Scion dealer in Plymouth Meeting. Up front (2) new Scion IQ's and by the front door entrance a new Prius C (I think that's what it is)...the new smaller/cheaper/sportier Prius, version 3. Pan to the left, a new brute looking FJ Cruiser in light gray, someone was taking a picture of. What a mix.
  17. An '05/06 Chrysler 300 Limited V6 sedan, Light Crypress Green...convertible. Cruising at night on 76 Saturday. I've seen photos but never one in person. This one was light green with green top and definitely not a faux "make it look like it" convertible, with roof ribs and small back window. Looked well used to with yellowing headlights and not the cleanest, rolling along.
  18. 80's Coupe Deville sitting amidst other old salvage construction stuff, at an architectural salvage garage & yard in Philly.
  19. Was in Delaware all day yesterday. At the dentist in slower lower Delaware, I finally spotted an Acura SLX (aka Isuzu Trooper) a few spots down from my mini silver TSX. Great shape and well kept. Definitely a slower lower beach area car.
  20. Try $47 large, and hence another problem
  21. Hilarious, OCN...and what a cluster of weird cars... Those Murano Crosscabriolets...Nissan may need to find a place to donate them to as no one is buying...and I read of a few that were, the people traded them back in on normal Muranos after their first initial lapse in judgement. Bizarre vehicle.
  22. ...remember this car? Dad bought it back in '03, I think. I drove it first for my senior year of high school. Dad used it as a spare. Then my brother used it until he bought a Regal. In the meantime, it's remained a spare. 1993 Fleetwood Brougham, Cotillion White with Garnet Red interior. Factory white vinyl top. Has about 110k now. They rarely use or drive it, just takes up space. Still looks great but with age needs some stuff. The rear air ride shocks went out many years back. It sits fine with just a slight rear end drop but doesn't like to be loaded up. Runs strong with the TBI 350 and 4-speed. A/C needs recharged and figure out where the old refrigerant leaks out. White vinyl top has grayed a bit in a few spots, being 19 years old and sitting outside quite a bit. When it rains a lot, there's a leak somewhere at the middle of the top windshield seal between it & the vinyl, have never been able to fix. Interior remains perfect and not a crack, tear, or faded spot like so many of these develop. All power features work. I removed the electronic trunk pull down a while back as well, when it malfunctioned. We had new front ball joints and tires installed a few years back. Such a nice boat, just needs some TLC to get it back to original stature. Dad needs the space, and is tired of it since moving onto his new Subaru fleet. Wonder how much the yacht can be sold for...hopefully to an appreciative person, and not a ghetto fab donker...
  23. Mileage findings seem to be all over the place. The V6 gets nothing but complaints from some, and the 22mpg highway rating with AWD does LOOK bad, but in reality it fits the trucklet well. A year later, as this driver said, "a lot better than my Camaro and even better than the Malibu". The Malibu is a stretch but that car's 2.4L/4-spd combo was a bad mix. Trips loaded down with 3 dogs, 3 people and their stuff at 75mph, said it normally comes in at 22-24mpg. Otherwise right around 20 and now the new smooth 2 lane, low RPM commute the results as above. Almost makes me think there are weird differences engine to engine as some report such drastically different things. Then again, when you give any such SUV a 30+ mpg sticker rating and market it, people will never be happy unless they get exactly that everyday. So all in all, great vehicle. Still bizarre how it looks so odd in some photos, but in person looks great. There are a lot of both Chevy and GMC's around, but glad she ended up with GMC instead of the Equinox in the end. And especially not a Tucson, Santa Fe, CX-7, etc. she originally thought she wanted. I was looking at a few leftover 2011's myself, as GM just quietly put $1000 dealer cash on V6 models (basically to make the V6 a free option for a few weeks) among other perks. They seem to be producing more V6's for 2012 as well, as I see more driving and more dealers have them in stock. Next up, Terrain Denali. We'll see how that looks.
  24. Car hauler in the cold rain yesterday afternoon, next door at Chevy. Full of randomly equipped and very eye catching new 2012 Corvettes. Total mix. Convertibles, Grand Sports, and others, each a different color. Dropped one and pulled away.
  25. Year update...almost. Just about to cross 15k miles. All well, zero issues, family enjoys it especially mother. Very pleased with the 3.0L and 6-spd, especially fuel economy. Visited me this past weekend and hopping in to parallel park it for them, I was again impressed by the look, materials, and space. And again, as odd as they can look in photos at times, an extremely attractive little ute in person. My mother's commute has increased, now 25 miles each way of all 2-lane 55-mph flat cruising roads. Texted me today saying her last week average of 57-59mpg netted her an average of 29mpg on the DIC. Impressive.
