  1. I would guess that they would never use the 3.9 in the Colorado. We have a better chance of having a SS with the 5.3
  2. You have that right, because there are quite a lot of crappy songs on that list!
  3. I am guilty of buying too many cars. In the past three years I have owned a 1999 Grand Am, 1993 GMC Sierra, 2003 Corolla, 1985 Grand Marquis and a 2005 Acura RSX. Looking at that I have wasted too much money on cars. I have the RSX and access to my fathers Sierra (which I am beginning to love) at the current time. I want to drop the RSX in favour of a new truck, but I am going to get raked over the coals. Is there a help clinic for people like me? The only other option is to work at a car dealer and get new demos every 8000 kms!
  4. It's too bad that it's sold, would have been worth a road trip! They are very rare, not even common in the east yet!
  5. Not a bad video, and do I ever love the Quebec city area. I wish I knew more french!
  6. The cost of repairs are a driving force in higher insurance. I honestly hate this kind of thing!
  7. Yeah, it's close!
  8. That guy got ran over twice... he is surely dead!
  9. (Imperial gallons, combined numbers) 2003 Toyota Corolla 44mpg 2004 GMC Sierra 4x4 19mpg 2005 Acura RSX 38mpg
  10. The new Jetta has nowhere near the appeal that the old one had. My friend owns a 2002 Jetta and went to look at the new model and told me that he thought that this Jetta was more like a Japanese car than a German car.
  11. One more thing, Toyota is "known" for reliability.

    Not happy

That thing is so big that it couldn't fit in a european style Shipping berth!
  13. Maybe a Corvette would be better
  14. I don't see the amount of power for solenoids being much of an issue, they can use unrectified AC power from the Alternator and boost the voltage (they will have to in order to get the speed for the solenoid) by use of a transformer and just use that to power the soleniod as opposed to using regular 12/14V!
  15. I do not spit on the people of the US, as I said earlier, my brother is living in the US. I do not look down on the people of the US. I don't know where you get that Idea. Just some policies. I live in Alberta and I hate some of the Canadian policies. If not for Americans the oil that comes from the Ft. McMurray oil sands (Largest oilsands deposit in the world and largest part of Albertas oil wealth) would still be in the ground. Suncor was the first oilsands development in the world and was initated by a group of American investors. It is all co-dependant. Alberta only has the resources. American money pays to take the oil out of the ground, then they buy it from us. If not for America I would be in Toronto selling beaver pelts.
  16. My brother lives in Connecicut and loves it. He is proud to live in the USA. I thought that the terrorists that were involved with 9/11 were living in the US? Lets face it, there is nothing in Canada worth blowing up.. Maybe the CN tower, but I doubt that would happen.
  17. I would still be covered if I paid my Alberta Healthcare bill or not. Canada does have a surplus, but it's debt to GDP ratio is one of the lowest in the G8. We have high taxes that pay for the programs. The government is not billing my grandchildren for Missiles and Star wars ABMs. I probably don't have much room to give advice, but I will. I am a left leaning liberal and I believe in social programs for all. I hate the corruption in the current liberal government, but I am happy I don't have a Bush running the country. It all went far off topic, but I feel that GM benefits because of medicare.
  18. It is snotty, but I do catch the drift!
  19. I don't like it, trade is only destroying what we have all built!
  20. I thought I was going on the deep end. :o Though I would rather have a healthy GM with just Chevy and Caddy than no GM at all!
  21. How does it drive? I always wondered what they were like. I am not a mopar fan nor a neon fan, but I am a fan of packing a punch in small cars. You prolly like it for the large back seat! http://www.cheersandgears.com/public/style_emoticons//AH-HA_wink.gif
  22. Doesn't appear that GM is following Ford by putting the shocks outside the Chassis!
  23. I am aware that Canadian forces are in in Afghanastan. I also know that there exchange Canadian troops fighting in Iraq. I didn't say that Canada is all knowing and great but I feel that it is better to be spending billions on helping our own than it is to be spending it on fighting a war that only benefits oil tycoons.
  24. Screw the valves, clean up 2 cycle engines and lets get on with it, No valves, less cycles without power, lighter weight!
  25. Come on, let us have some fun! :o
