instincts eh? well eating is an instinct... but thats about it. other "instincts" must be developed- they exist in an undeveloped form. i suppose it might be genetic.. but... thats just so 'out there'. i mean really its either Nature, or humans version of Nature (culture). although IIRC back during rome's ending days sex was quite rampant as was homosexuality, then the "barbarians" from the north pretty much wiped them off the map... then 1500 years later they invaded france again :P

actually you can teach some1 whatever u want, you just gotta do it from the time they are born and keep em from outside influences... but... if your too negative on them theyll tend to... rebel. No im saying that the 3.4L crate engine is only for automatic transmissions, ive looked at it before. and yes it has a rough idle... sometimes it runs fine, other times gotta keep the foot on the gas to keep it from dying.

The basis of age is a very common and useful tool. a few things to keep in mind- 1) the general population is incapable of doing anything 2) teen drivers (IE 16-18) is useful gague as they only have a year or 2 under their belt. Would you let your 16 year old drive by themselves to some place 400 miles away? im sure most wouldnt. 3) humans tend to stay in good mental state until their later 50s, when imparing of motor skills begin to set in (sometimes this happens earlier or later) 4) Its been shown through studies that cell phone useage while driving impaires driving more so than being drunk 5) even with hands free sets, its still more imparing than talking to the dude (and/or dudette) next to you. 6) cell phones IMO, have become grossly abused. I only use mine for emergencies or VERY short calls just to see what i need to do/go. Its not uncommon to see teens (and adults) rack up big cell bills... now WHAT is the point of this? ever heard of a land line? yeah its that thing on your wall that you can talk into... and guess what... local calls are NO ADDED CHARGE!!! wow... think of all the savings!

People have shoehorned LS1's into miatas, i wouldnt doubt the vette could hold some big engine.

that engine is only for an automatic. otherwise ive never read about the 2.8L being bored out to 3.4? Its already pretty rough, wouldnt the larger bore make it worse?

you like that digital stuff? i got a car with it... and all it does is take me longer to get to 65 than it is turning my knob in my other car to 65. same with radios, give me a display with the station number and THATS IT (and CD track number if applicable). ill take the knob thank you.

Diesels can make some darn good race engines, i think it would be marvelous if GM could bring a racing-inspired diesel to the production arena.

Rebelling, duh :P plus a LOT more socializing is coming from outside the household these days.
