  1. Yeah they had to kill gas economy to get that. a 6spd would get a LOT better fuel economy in this case (and this case only)
  2. what a backwards society... wasting all that glass on bottles :P
  3. Clotheshanger as an antenna - yeah it works superglued rear view mirror back on
  4. SUPER SQUIRREL
  5. girl on the right is hawt!!! B) EDIT: btw i made it a worthy thread of the title :P
  6. I WARNED YOU NOT TO CLICK IT. NOW SPACEBALLS WILL SUCK THE AIR OUT OF YOUR PLANET!
  7. they do... for a chevy. Their resale aint half bad, but its not excellent or nuthin
  8. This would be a very tough decision! i would have to drive them both.
  9. i heard it was gonna have PWD
  10. Uhmmm i dont know about you, but living a high profile life aint my kind of thing. Id rather drive some POS 5spd truck than a Mercedez Benz (why? thats a good question. i love crappy vehicles that i can rev/burn out with/ and compltely not care what happens to them!)
  11. i never said elimate GMC... i justified keeping GMC because theya re just clones anyways. I dont care if they lose sales, they will have less operating costs AND more importantly be able to focus efforts onto their core Chevy(GMC)/Caddy brands to make those world class. once Chevy has a strong foothold then the other brands can be brought back, and this time with the proper funds.
  12. i am really liking this new civic... may very well be my next car (coupe of course)
  13. Correct. I do believe the HV engines will finally become direct competitors in power once 3v tech comes on, and perhaps Direct Ignition (torque output will be quite prodigious)
  14. I still stand by my opinion that Ch11 will give GM a terrible PR view for "abandoning" its workers. if worse comes to worse, GM should put Buick/Pontiac/Saab on "hiatus" (GMC is just clones of chevy's for the most part anyways) to streamline development until financial conditions improve. GM could get by with Chevy/Cadillac as their only brands if things really got bad...
  15. ill give ya a hint, its a RWD version. 110hp/150torque.
  16. Engine was replaced by a GM dealer. says it was a new engine. Origional engine was lost because some inept dude forgot to put oil in it before i got it!
  17. im not sure, but now since 3.8L funds will be freed up, they can improve the 3.9....
  18. The ultimate Anti-Deer... A Pinto running at full speed REVERSE :)
  19. GM hasnt always built the best of cars, but they werent terrible either... some were good, most were sub-par (except trucks, GM has always built excellent trucks)
  20. I used to do that, but the pay is terrible... the mushrooms were nice tho :P Well i dont fly a plane called the Sea Duck so i guess it didnt have an affect on me :(
  21. yay, maybe they can make the 3.9L get some good gas mileage now...
  22. All i am saying is that GM has proven time and time again that the 60* V6 block (AKA the origional 2.8L) is capable of amazing feats yet they NEVER ACT ON IT, that 3.4L.... origionally made upwards of 300hp, but they had no transmission that could handle that kind of power so it was detuned to 210... and thats 1991. people have gotten the destitute 2.8L V6 (origionally rated at 110hp) upwards of 200hp NA (transmissions usually give out past this).
  23. the only alternative is for GM and Ford to band together and buyout Chrysler group and form an alliance called the Big 3 and devote all resources into top notch powertrain design and quality. :P
  24. aveo hardly has leading gas mileage... a much larger civic gets better mileage than it does! heck an RSX gets better gas mileage. a malibu gets the same mileage!!! AVEO: Engine: D (pitiful) Gas Mileage: F (horrid gas mileage for size) Body Design: A- Interior Design: A- Quality (for class): A
  25. or fishing from the back of a giraffe or cammel in Idaho..
