  1. your desktop receives an F for not being cluttered
  2. NO! Simple solutions are not allowed. More layers of programming and complexity is needed!
  3. Neat! Alpha is RWD right?
  4. Short of that, there are programs which will rotate your display if you really cannot find the hotkey
  5. I love B-17s B-52s are cool too. Strategic Air Command ASSEMBLE!
  6. My buddy had a fish that was incredibly stupid and would always get too much air. So it would be swimming around upside down trying to stay somewhat deep in the water. It was somewhat amusing to watch.
  7. I don't really like Chrome's privacy statements so i stick with FF, that being said i dont really have any problems with it hogging up memory.
  8. The argument misses the point that your just perpetuating a business model that cannot sustain itself in bad times. GM has been a WEAK BUSINESS for some years now that was kept afloat by decent economies and bubbles. A post Chapter 11 GM would be far more flexible in times of economic troubles and would likely have larger profit margins, allowing it to re-expand and reclaim far more of its old market share than simply limping along with its current business model propped up by the government. Now, like everyone else here i want GM to survive cause i really want a new Camaro from a company that's AMERICAN, but i don't think that government intervention in this way is any way to run a company. GM's feet need to be held to the fire in a CH 11 bankruptcy so that they can emerge far stronger than before (even if they are smaller, they can always regain their market share through innovation etc). The same argument could be made for the financial sector as well
  9. Bravo Castle doctrine?
  10. Do fish even do anything else? None of mine ever have.
  11. We had elaborate super soaker battles. There were 2 "bases" which were just faucets that we had teed off so that 1 half went to the hose (which was the base defense watergun) while the other half had the ability to be turned off and an adapter so we could easily fill up water balloons. Ahh we wasted soo much water and balloons
  12. Hooray for communism... oh wait
  13. Lets see 5th grade... i had a Super Soaker 150! that thing was the best "rifle" of all the super soakers! I also had a 250 (the one with twin barrels) which was a POS. Prior to having a super soaker of my own, i was the poor kid on the block with a spray bottle set to stream. Oh yeah, i also played duck hunt, but i wasn't any good at it. These days i can play it as far back as i can stretch all of the cables and still nail those damn ducks! Oh and teaching children about gun safety at a young age is not a negative thing. Everything is far more dangerous when you don't know anything about it... after all you wouldn't let someone drive a car without learning how to first right?
  14. So much for gun control But seriously who does this? any sane person would just look to the future and think how much better off their lives will be than these jerks who bossed you around in high school. But then again i guess this kid wasnt sane. Stupid mindless violence.
  15. This is idiotic. When cost cutting involves hampering R&D in sectors that will be very large growth areas in the future is like shooting yourself in the foot! In such a competitive field as Automotive you gain market share by LEADING, not by following.
  16. ne sais pas francais.
  17. *bumper not included
  18. Anyone else find any irony with the name of the building behind the coyote?
  19. Well if the Deers natural predators have all been driven out of the area then obviously other efforts to keep the population at manageable levels are necessary. The Alaskans do that with Wolves all the time. As long as everything is kept in a balance everyone wins with this sort of thing. That being said, i doubt i would actually eat the Deer, so i'll leave the hunting to someone who will actually make use of the carcass. I think people have forgotten that a lot of people hunt (with anything from bows to guns) to eat. And hunting is not bad by any measure as long as things are not over hunted, in fact its beneficial to the whole ecosystem to prevent overpopulating.
  20. I'll grab the 30'06
  21. This thread is... marginally disturbing. And deer can cause a ton of damage... that's why i always drive slowly around really woody areas cause i know my car wouldn't stand up very well to one of those suckers. Does anyone have a picture of that old Volvo 240 wagon that went over a cliff or a hill or something and finally hit the ground upright with the passenger compartment largely intact and then driving off afterward?
  22. Well, as much as i dislike hearing stuff like this. Do you think that we as Americans would have acted any differently if a Chinese ship was gathering information 75 nautical miles off our coast?
  23. Well if he is carrying it visible and unloaded that is outside the realm of CCW and into the realm of Unloaded Open Carry. Anywho, what ever happened to the Rule of Law and equal treatment under it? ... oh wait this is Canada... never mind.
  24. Well at the same time we've undermined the communist authority a bit in the process. But there is an old Lenin quote something along the lines of ... that may not exactly be it, but its damn close.
