  2. I will admit it has gone farther before, but the hubby wasn't diggin it so I don't go farther anymore.
  3. now now, a girl has to have some secrets. Just drunk chicks making out, like you've never had that experience before. lol
  4. So I guess it's not as big a deal for women to be attracted to other women, so It'll probably come as no surprise that I am attracted to other women. I do notice pretty women, but most of my attraction is to my friends. But the feeling is mutual, we usually only do anything about it when we're drinking though. So...
  5. I've heard cropaphilia or crapaphilia, pronounced crop. Not sure, people are weird man!!
  6. How many of you have actually watched it and all the way through? One of my friends yacked!! Have any of you tricked friends into watching it?
  7. Well, I'm not a dad but I am a mommy. I'm only 33, and my kid will be 18 when I'm 36. My hubby and I are very much looking forward to be able to do things together, vacations, project cars or just whatever. I figure we'll have at least one grandbaby soon enough, and that will help any empty nest syndrome we feel. I'm more worried about just sitting here staring at each other, not really knowing each other anymore, not knowing what to do now. We started so young, been together since high school, so we've never had a chance to just be a couple, and enjoy each other. We'll see what happens. But whatever you choose will work out just fine. Just talk it out thoroughly and carefully. Good luck.
  8. You know as much as I hate to admit it, I really liked the Beretta. Hated the Corsica, and the berettas and corsicas had some door falling off and paint peeling issues, but the beretta was cool when i was in high school. And another car I liked... early 90's 3.1 Z24 Cavaliers. Ok let the ragging begin.
  9. Seriously man, no fair. Awful, oh well, more money for me, I do sell parts afterall, and they aren't cheap on a car like that. :AH-HA_wink: Gotta find the silver lining.
  10. I think music speaks to the soul. It can enhance or change your moods. Music is very important to me, the mood of the music and the style. I put the most emphasis on the lyrics, I love musicians who tell stories with their songs, like Rush for example. But I generally need Metal, whether good mood or bad. I believe that we need music, our brains crave it. I also believe in a connection on some level between music and intelligence.
  11. Sorry, it's not an 80's car but I had to mention it. We've debated here at work the worst out of GM. Many say the Citation, or Chevette, but I think it has to be the Cadillac Caterable. Seriously, just the # of blown head gaskets alone. I think my Used Car dept almost went under one year, cause they were getting good deals on them at auction, and then the head gaskets would blow a week after they sold them, they finally got wise and stopped buying them. The Catera is a running joke around here.
  12. The first week i had the avalanche. I got a nasty door ding right on a body crease on the rear quarter, and then one of the neighborhood kids rode down the driveway between it and the red truck and left a handlebar scuff all the way down both bodies. But, I didn't know which brat did it, there are kids everywhere here. Then when I do go somewhere, my instinct is to park out in the north 40 somewhere, but then I think well now it stands out more to punks and thieves, so I can't win for losing. It sucks.
  13. Your telling me, I'm scared to death with the new Z. It barely clears the bottom of the driveway. I think Oklahoma recently scored in the top 5 for worst roads ever. We regularly have giant holes in bridges, imagine the poor guy who was driving under the bridge when the damn road fell through!! Even the parking lot at work is riddled with potholes and speed bumps and screws, nails, glass, etc. Talk about an obstacle course, and we've so outgrown the place, some people are having to park at the Taco Hell next door. You have to like squish your car in with a shoehorn. It's a little nerve racking with a new car.
  14. That's what we've all been bitching about at work for the last ten years. This multiple nameplates on the same damn car is ridiculous and it's killing GM. We don't need 4-5 Trailblazers, it's stupid. Lose GMC, keep Caddy for luxury, Pontiac for sporty, Chevy for affordability. That would be the ideal, of course I know they have to keep Buick, I guess primarily because it seems to be selling so well in China. I guess it could fill the gap between Chevy and Caddy. Stop duplicating. We don't need 3-4 W-bodies, yada, yada, yada. Streamline man, for the love of GOD!!! We all kind of speculated for a while when they first started using the little GM badge on all the new cars that maybe that is what the future held, all under one nameplate(GM), but each keep their own look, like Caddy and Pontiac, etc. It would be major restructuring and would piss a lot of people off, but something has got to give. They can't let the damn Camry beat out all 4 of their competing brands. If they could put that much effort into just 1 of those 4, we'd kick everybodies ass!!!
  15. Well, it goes around the cluster and that radio and it just pulls off, retainers only, no screws. I have a .pdf file with how to do it, and can also get you the exact procedure for the sensor, which of course is some long drawn out pain in the a*s. I still think my way would be easiest. I can get you both in .pdf format, but it won't let me attach the files here. Send me your email address in a PM and I'll email it to you.
  16. Thanks and yes many of us want to drive something other than that which we face every day. It's just like a lot or most of the techs I know don't want to work on cars on their free time, one of the main reasons we have kind of given up at least for now on the older cars. He would rather make payments and have new stuff and not have to worry about it anymore. I figured I'd catch a little flack for not having a GM anymore, but hey just wanted to step out of the box for awhile. Besides like many of have said, we just don't have much to choose from in the class of my Z. I wish we did, but even then, I wish GM cars held their value a little better, it isn't fair. GM builds great cars, just as good as anybody else, and all cars have gotten SOOOO much more reliable and are of a higher quality, at least that's what I think. Not trying to piss off all the older car lovers, I love them too, but coming from the perspective of somebody in the business who sees the behind the scenes, and from techs I know who have been in the business on the dealership end for upwards of 40 years, that's the story I get and see. And you know, we started finally buying new cars in 2001, stll had a few Cutty's after that but I haven't kept a car for more than 3 years since. Just playin around, seeing what's out there. It's an expensive obsession, but I get bored easy now. Probably trade the Z in a year or two knowing me. If I don't stop this $h! my car payments will be more than my house payment.
  17. If you pop off the main bezel, and pull out the radio, none of which is very hard to do, you might be able to reach it behind the radio hole and push it back through. Everything comes apart so much easier now on the new cars and trucks.
  18. There's a fair amount of info here...Olds Intrigue Info
  19. I think it's f*@kin' bad!! I would still rather have had the money to import over about a '99-'02 Skyline. But at least finally we're going to get our own version. So great. Does anybody know what the price is going to be?
  20. K-car :rotflmao:
  21. Thanks! I couldn't be happier. It's everything I hoped it would be, and yes for the money, a great buy. Very impressive power, braking, handling and trim for the money. There isn't much out there this sporty and fun for this money. I do wish it had some kind of backseat, I didn't want to spend the extra $5K for the G37 to have the backseat, and honestly I like the look of this better than G.
  22. Maybe they will. Unless GM pulls thier head out of their ass, we may be all driving Nissans!!!
  23. What it really comes to I think is that I'm immersed in GM's world all day everyday, dealing with their bull$h! and looking at nothing but GM cars and trucks. We have a few technicians who refuse to own GM just because they work on them all day long, they want to get in something completely different at the end of the day. GM puts food on my table, but GM cars I'm sorry to say, have terrible resale, as well as all domestic cars, trucks are generally better. Also, despite having purchased about 7 cars from my employer, when it comes time for service work, we as employees don't get the same treatment as a regular customer. I want to be treated like a real customer, I want my ass kissed for awhile. So, I went outside of GM. Unfortunately around here and at work, a large percentage of the people I hang with are jumping ship and all going to Nissan. They have incredible style, a fair amount of horsepower for what they are and they hold their value. Nissan's biggest downfall compared to their import competitors is fuel mileage. None of them are great, especially their trucks. I will always be a GM girl. I love GM cars and would only own a GM truck, but it's fun for once to step outside the box and dabble in the import market. I still work for a GM dealer and sell GM parts all day.
  24. Ok here's a few pics I took this morning. It's in the garage. I'll try to take some outside today, it's finally supposed to be nice. 70 this afternoon, then 30 tomorrow. Gotta love Oklahoma's crazy ass weather.
