  1. Yes, get your GED and then you will be able to find a much better job. But since I do understand why you need another job (the job that I quit back in February kept scaling back my hours to the point where I made absolutely nothing; about $120 dollars every two weeks down from $250 every two weeks before my hours were cut), try a few locally owned businesses, like a mom'n'pop-owned gas station. Don't forget, there is always fast food as well. (If you don't want to go that route, I don't blame you one bit. I refuse to go there as well.)
  2. It's an even greater shame they skipped on fixing those ugly headlights. The LaCrosse is a decent car, though. But, for the money, I would go Aura or Malibu all the way to the bank.
  3. This is one of GM's better designs from the 90s era, along with the striking Aurora. This generation of Rivera was quite a classy and interesting car.
  4. Perhaps those certain people are fortune-tellers and they don't even know it. :AH-HA_wink:
  5. Want to have some fun? Go to a big American city and randomly ask someone to name one European country. Some of the answers will surprise you, maybe even horrify you.
  6. Hear that? That is the sound of me loading up my 30.06. j/k
  7. I am a fan of the Pininfarina firm's work and I would love to see what they think Cadillac's STS/SLS/DTS replacement should look like. Pininfarina design on such a Cadillac would make quite a nice statement, I think.
  8. The Sonoma went over 4,000 miles before I had the oil swapped out with 4.5 quarts of Pennzoil High Mileage last Thursday. When the oil was changed, it was a quart low ...
  9. Sorry to hear about this Z! That is a shame what happened to your car. It is good that you were not hurt, though. Hope Geico makes the repair process as painless and quick as possible.

The Evoq, as we know, became the XLR. The Cien was nothing more than a "what if?" sort of question answered. Another now obscure Cadillac concept car from the Art and Science era was, of course, the Vizon, which was the precursor to the SRX.
  11. Bawls? Hell yes. That is my "drug of choice." :AH-HA_wink:

It was a quite interesting concept car, it also served as the forerunner to the original Cadillac STS design before Lutz ordered the design to be overhauled.

  14. If there were no GM, and although I never really pledge all of my allegiance to one automaker, I would be a BMW guy foremost, and probably a Ford guy second.
  15. That brings us to today's trivia question: guess which age demographic generally does not like the Element?
  16. We all went camping near the lake with relatives today. Very fun. I quite enjoyed it because I love being near water.
  17. Boxers. I can't stand briefs. Too much chaffing.
  18. Actually, besides making the Corvette a Pontiac, I really like what I am hearing there PCS. The idea for a motorcycle division is interesting.
  19. I am very pleased. Very. :AH-HA_wink:
  20. I have high hopes for Metallica's new album, so they had better not be dashed.
  21. Don't ask about it, don't think about it, just do it. Now. :AH-HA_wink:
  22. I doubt this. Have you forgotten these? However, the Cobalt replacement and the Volt are both based around the basic Delta II architecture.
  23. Smith was definitely a man who never forgot to put on his self-prescribed rose-colored glasses every morning when he woke up.
