  2. Yeah I had noticed that.
  3. But it all depends on how the person is using it. If someone is texting and not paying you much attention, like in the example O.C. presented, then yes it's pretty rude. If someone is doing it while their hands and attention are free, then I can't see how it could be considered rude.
  4. What he said.
  5. No problem, Cort. I'll be driving the Cutlass to Richmond again sometime this week or the next and I'll check that lot once more. Now, on another note, I found another Cutlass in Ohio, and I can't seem to quite get it out of my head ... http://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/867697363.html It's a manual and I think it could make a good companion to the '72.
  6. I'll trade you my rims for yours.
  7. Thanks, Cort. And, yes, she is a jewel in disguise, although she might have the 350 Rocket and not the 455.
  8. I'll make a brief list: I have a new girlfriend and we actually have 90 percent of everything in common and that's obviously a much better place for things to begin, especially when I think about my last relationship where I had maybe 15 percent of everything in common with my ex. I now own a classic car and, if I can get another job, there's a decent probability that I'll not only own just one classic, but two. I think it will only get better from here too. EDIT: What the hell is up with my grammar tonight, huh?
  9. I really like the Monza name. I don't know why.
  10. Kraft Mac 'n Cheese
  11. They were trying to see if aftermarket fuel efficiency devices actually do increase mpg ratings. The car they were using, however, was a 1978 - 1981 Olds Cutlass Supreme and not a Delta 88.
  12. +1 The system needs to make a significant change and lesser political parties should step up their game and increase their efforts to be heard.

  14. Channel 74 on Dish Network is entirely devoted to one person and one person alone: Barrack Obama. And it's nothing but prepaid ad after ad after ad after ad endorsing his campaign, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, until the election is over (or until the end of his first term maybe?). Now I want to be perfectly clear that I am not for either candidate in the 2008 election and I have my reasons. (However, I am still voting, nothing will defer me from it.) But I do think that perhaps it is only just and fair that if you're going to let one political party and it's candidate for president have their own channel airing nothing but annoying, cliched propaganda in a never ending loop, you should at least offer the opposing team a chance to do the same. If there is one thing that I grow tired of, it's bias in the media and those who carry the media, especially when it comes to politics.
  15. I sent 1300 texts over a span of three weeks, starting in the middle of last month. And those were just to one person: my girlfriend. (In fact, that's who I'm sending one to right now.)
  16. Okay, nice enough. Now, how about some official pricing specifications? That will be what makes or breaks me getting one. I want the 1LT.

  18. I believe your friends at Lotus might have something to say about that.
  19. Too much religion is a very dangerous thing and that's all I'm going to say.
  20. Again, am I on Cheers and Gears or watching As The World Turns? I'd love to see the script you are all reading from because whoever is writing it can't come up with anything new to say. It's all the same old cliched plot and all the old cliched lines I've been hearing for months now. And we all wonder why the member base has dwindled down to 10 members and 2 admins.
  21. WOW, you know what's in my heart now too, do you ocnblu? I think not! From now on please refer to me as Pontiac Custom-S or PCS if you choose, Börger is reserved for friends, something we haven't been in a very long time. Am I on Cheers and Gears or watching an episode of As The World Turns?
  22. You know, I read this post and then began to realize that the name "Cobalt" sounds maybe a little too close to "Neon" (both are elements of the periodic table after all).
  23. Thank you!
  24. Found something for you, Sixty-8: http://louisville.craigslist.org/cto/859216470.html
  25. I don't need the guilt trip, as I've been registered since April. I find it very disappointing, however, that I harbor a great dislike for not just one of the candidates, but both of them. Usually when I discuss politics, I indirectly quote Lewis Black to sum up how I feel about voting this year: when I walk into the polls this November, I'll basically be choosing between which pile of $h! smells better (which is a good summary of the 2000 and 2004 elections as well).
