  1. Sounds about like how things were after I placed my Monte Carlo on Craigslist. Tons of e-mails, tons of phone calls, I had two different people making trips from three counties away on the same day to look at it the day I traded it ... When you've got something hot, it'll sell. It took more of a push to sell the Rocket 350. I was relisting it just about every other day. One listing was all it took to sell the Monte.
  2. You? gm4life? I'm out of guesses. I'll admit, for a front-driver, the last few years of Bonnevilles had some decent lines. Looks great in motion, like in the pic.
  3. I don't know. There has to be a zero missing in that price somewhere, if it's for real. It looks too clean to be that cheap.
  4. It's more in the Jackson/Hazard area.
  5. Don't make me stray the course. They are giving it away at that price if the pictures prove correct. On an unrelated note, anyone remember this thing: http://lexington.craigslist.org/cto/1465529373.html Some guy tried to trade me the shell of that car for the Firebird. Now I think I know why. He wanted to put that LT1 in it.
  6. http://lexington.craigslist.org/cto/1467369727.html Real nice, very solid, and affordable.
  7. I'll ... hold my tongue on that. But I can only hope ...
  8. Hmmm ... I'm going to hold out on this a little more and see what winter brings. Maybe the car I'm looking for will finally crawl out of the woodwork.
  9. Checked out Sandusky's Craigslist, found this: http://sandusky.craigslist.org/cto/1445023375.html Did you mention this car, Camino?
  10. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vu2hIXFOm_s
  11. It gave me different results when I clicked the link. I did another search, found this: http://indianapolis.craigslist.org/cto/1468679952.html It's a little over 2 hours away and I can drive it home.
  12. On a completely unrelated note, this is unbelievable. I think I might flag it: http://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/1469540169.html
  13. I know the point you're making, but there's simply no way I could head out to California to buy it. I'd pay twice the price of the car to ship it here as well, so that's a definite no. It has to be closer to home.
  14. I just hope I get a lead on one before prices shoot through the roof. This is about as good it's going to get locally and it's a little out of budget: http://lexington.craigslist.org/cto/1455983855.html
  15. If it wasn't all the way out in California, chances are I would be trying to buy it ASAP. I am glad you recognize my power.
  16. Now if something like that would just pop-up closer to home, I wouldn't be considering something like that Redbird I posted.
  17. I have the time.
  18. Sadly, there isn't much you can do to speed up a dial-up internet connection. Dial-up accelerators, I've found, are a j-o-k-e, joke. Is there a package deal you can do with your local phone company to get satellite TV, broadband/dsl, and a landline all for one price?
  19. Close. But you see, I pwnd myself. I intentionally failed to win. I cannot be beaten.
  20. POSTED IMAGE INVESTMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  21. INVESTMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There. Beat that. After all, that was just a few mere inches away from actually being mine. And hey, here's a challenge: if you think you can find a better T/A or Firebird than I can for under $1,500 and less than 300 miles away from zip code 40403, link me to it.
  22. INVESTMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh shi-
  23. Ironic as I am the one who started that thread. Credit goes to Satty for the meme, though.
  24. The Redbird doesn't seem that bad. Then again, you can never tell that much from a photo. Speaking of GTOs (and cars like them), I know where there's a '72 GT-37 for sale. It has a lot of surface rust, but it hasn't rusted through and half of the interior is salvageable. Regarding the engine and trans, I have no idea if they're still in the car.
