  1. http://lexington.craigslist.org/cto/1479059933.html The insanity ensues.
  2. TBS
  3. Where's DeLorian when you need him?
  4. Mmmmmmmmm .... Imma get me sum of that.
  5. It wasn't just the Neon. A lot of '90s model Chrysler products suffered from having the worst clear coat possible slapped on. I should post a few pics of what my dad's '99 Dakota SLT looks like. It's a nightmare. The truck only has 90,000 miles on it, but judging from the paint job you would guess twice as much. I don't understand why he hasn't bothered to paint it yet. I could bitch all day long about an e-Quadrajunk. Worst piece of engineering ever devised by GM.
  6. All should still function with a Silver account, including the download card. You still can download content with a Silver account. Don't mention it. I'll double check everything just to make sure and get back with you with any updates. Hmmm ... what's the Hyundai pack like? I didn't know it was out there.
  7. That would be the better way to put it. There were bright spots, though. At GM you had the Colonnade coupes, the Trans Am and Can Am, and a handful of Chevys like the Laguna S-3 and the Z/28; Buick first introduced the T-Type cars in the late '70s, and Olds kept the 442 name afloat off and on. At Chrysler Corp. Dodge had the first-generation Magnum coupe replacing the Charger (my dad had two of those and from what I understand it had decent performance for a late '70s car) and Chrysler had the Cordoba. Ford, though, didn't really seem to have much of anything nice like that going for them. The Mustang II King Cobra was close to being something interesting, but it fell pretty short (it wound up as a desperate response to the T/A; look at the two cars back to back and you'll see what I mean).
  8. I know for sure that the Storefront can be accessed with a Silver account. I bought a "Bandit" scheme for the T/A I have in Forza 3 (c'mon, were you expecting anything less?) from it and I've had a Silver account since my Gold expired all the way back in February. I can understand online game play being Gold-only, but not the Auction House if the Storefront can be accessed with a Silver account since they follow a similar concept. You could, alternatively, buy another DSL/Cable broadband modem, hook it into your Xbox like you do your PC, and use Xbox Live that way. The only downside is that, if you're on Live, you can't access the internet from any computer in the house.
  9. Yep. I started playing the Campaign at 6 pm, finished it at 3 am. I have half of the Co-Op missions finished as well. The only achievements I don't have are for everything relating to Hardened/Veteran difficulty, which I soon will.
  10. +1 I don't think anyone here would call my Cutlass shitty. Actually, I can just about guarantee that.
  11. Complete forums for Ford? I suppose C&G is becoming less GM-oriented?
  12. "I ate his intake manifold with some fava beans and a nice Chianti."
  13. Wait a second ... That's frightening.
  14. I'm not so sure. I think cops will grow to hate it the moment they have to give pursuit to an evading suspect and jump a median to catch them. Crown Vics can take that sort of abuse. They're built as rugged as an old covered wagon. I'm not so sure the new Taurus could hold up. I know that's one reason why cops do not order many Impalas. Front-wheel drive cars are more delicate than rear-wheel drive cars (and especially if you combine rear-drive with body-on-frame construction). You can call the "BIASED!" card all day long, but it is true.
  15. Reuss taking over for Queen could be the one of the best things to happen at General Motors, for consumers and enthusiasts alike.
  16. Wait, what? I probably bash these cars just as much as anyone here and I haven't owned a "modern" car in months. I will swallow my pride and admit that the good luck I've had with the Cutlass's reliability and maintenance probably made me underestimate certain issues that other older model cars might have, but I'm not spoiled by things like fuel injection, or power windows and locks, air-con, sat-nav ... well you get the deal. I won't argue about the Metro vs. Prius deal, but I don't own a Prius ... Wait a second ... oh, never mind. I get where you're driving at now. I'll step aside.
  17. For some reason, I was thinking you sold the Jetta for parts or something. Still having it will most definitely help in bringing the Golf back up to speed. It seems there's a piece of trim missing around the front of the car. Is the Jetta's still intact and usable?
  18. Thanks. I will eventually have to buy a new intake manifold for it, though. Not that there is anything wrong with the stock one or that it absolutely has to be replaced, but it has a lot of unused, blocked-off mounting holes where all of the smog equipment used to be and an aluminum one will nudge the performance up slightly. Other than that, it sounds as good as the old 350 that was in it, surprisingly has similar acceleration to the 350 before it almost threw a rod, and holds oil pressure at 50 psi while the 350 only held 20 in its last days. You sound like I did when I first had the car offered to me. I don't know what that something is, but that something made me choose it over a T/A that was also offered up for trade. Saying the Pinto was a better car than a Vega is like saying amoebic dysentery is a better gastrointestinal disorder than Crohn's Disease. The Cosworth is sort of like the Cobalt SS Turbo's great-grandpa. I'd never buy one, but I can sort of understand the appeal. Why they made it almost as expensive as a Corvette at the time and four times as slow is ludicrous. Welcome to the Dark Side. Enjoy the cookies and beer.
  19. Fixed this for you.
  20. Why thanks for asking. The $500 307 in the Buick is doing excellent.
  21. Congrats on the project car BV. Keep us posted with updates. (I expect a lot of hypocrites in here ... but that's beside the point ... for now.)
  22. http://lexington.craigslist.org/cto/1476377655.html ALL THIS DISAPPOINT FOR ONLY $4500! inb4: best car you've ever posted, shot below the belt, remark about my mother, etc., etc., etc.
  23. It's an American subcompact car from the '70s. Of course it's shitty.
  24. Uh ... b-pillars suck? You put me on the spot here.
