  1. I love driving this car in rally games but I really hate looking at it. So here's some pain for the rest of you.
  2. You can always rely on Satty to make you wonder if you've suddenly stumbled into /b/.
  3. Presented without comment. t shirt site
  4. I've been digging this song since it came out. I actually did an acoustic version of it on stage at a food bank benefit show a couple months ago.
  5. They have been getting far s****ier lately... I remember back when I was a kid (when it was Price Club) and they actually had good deals. Now you go there and they have things on for the exact same or higher prices as a cheap grocery store or Walmart, plus you have to buy in large quantities. I really don't understand how they're still open - could just be people assuming they're getting a good deal 'because its Costco' instead of actually shopping.
  6. Lots of -poop- from California coming tomorrow, maybe, when I get some time. I'm home now, it was a good trip.
  7. Thanks, everybody! It was "father's day" for me yesterday too, since I'll be flying to California on the real father's day and won't have a chance to see my dad. I got him a few gifts and took him on some fast go karts. It's fun to do stuff like that, and nice to see that he still enjoys stuff like that, even at 60.
  8. Holy crap, you don't drive much do you??? I'm about to turn over 140,000 km later today, on an '05. (100,000 mi = very near 160,000 km)
  9. It used to be that new clothing made in old styles was in. Now it's actually considered cool to find real vintage clothing. The thrift store is many people's treasure hunt now.
  10. My real estate agent has "GR8 AGNT". Yeah, I think it's cheesy too, but he actually is a good agent.
  11. My friends react badly when GM changes a model name... "Toyota has the confidence to keep their model names" "I guess they ruined another name?" I can only imagine what they would say if they changed the whole company name. NO.
  12. Caption calls it the "remote manipulator system arm". It's called the Canadarm! It's even got the "Canada" logo on it! C'mon, people...
  13. At one point after my rollover, mine was $475/mo. Now it's more like the $260/mo you quote and I'm so happy to be paying that instead of the old price... On another note, I've inferred from some of your other posts that you took your driver's ed from your schools?? I've never heard of this before. Driver's Ed in Ontario is all done through private companies, and I'd never heard of it any other way anywhere else. Is this the case? As for my Driver's Ed, I did it in a Civic, then came home and practiced driving in a Suburban.
  14. So... am I the only pervert who thinks of the name "Annie" when you see "Cruz(e)"?
  15. Not at all. Still, I rejoice in any sign that hardliners are starting to think. Hardliners of any ideology are the ones who truly oppress people and start wars. There's a quote from the Flobots that I love: "There is a war going on for your mind. If you are thinking, you are winning."
  16. Just a few days over 20 years ago people got killed by the Chinese army for daring to speak against the government. Now they're allowing a gay pride parade... Shanghai Pride At least the Chinese government seems able to change, rather than riding their ideology into the ground like the USSR did.
  17. So... if they haven't wrecked the name in NA and the rest of the world doesn't know it, then what's the problem with it?
  18. They change names when the f*** something up. Cavalier needed to change after the last generation soldiered on so long. Cobalt has positive connotations to most people, why change it?
  19. Recently put one of these: Through the washer and dryer. To my amazement it still worked properly afterwards, even still had all the data on it.
  20. Old Cummer Ave, in Toronto.
