  1. I can see how that would be nice. I've never hated anyone badly enough on this site to resort to that.
  2. On Xbox Live, this is a great system and I support it. In a message board, however, I have some concerns. I'm worried about missing pieces of the conversation. Just because a large portion of the community at C+G dislikes somebody doesn't mean that they won't have something valid to say in a given conversation.
  3. GM doesn't need to be Nissan, no... but I don't think that's what he'll do. I vote Ghosn
  4. Wow, Yaris got hammered! Kind of surprising given the push for smaller cars...
  5. ...and in other news, a man was beaten to death over the keys to a GMC Terrain today. Sources say the dispute revolved around cult website Cheers and Gears. Remember kids, Internet forums will kill you.
  6. Can somebody photoshop some blood and a scrap of a plaid hunter's jacket on the front? Then it will truly be the AMAROK.
  7. They're stepping into a very weak market with a good looking product. Seriously, which mid-size pickup would you buy right now? It's a matter of choosing the least bad truck.
  8. Why can't you just go to your local coin-op and wash it there? I've never had a home with an accessible hose, so I don't see the problem...
  9. That's a very.... 'special' colour. What are you going to do about that quarter panel?
  10. I realize it's front-engine, but the first-gen Tracker/Sidekick is under 150 inches...
  11. I'm also interested where this goes. Wow.... this is a tough one! I'm trying to look for something, and I'm finding lots of options in the 150-160 inch category, but that's too long for you.
  12. Posts like this mean we need to keep Balthazar on this site no matter what.
  13. As I get older, my priorities are shifting away from my car. Not that my enthusiasm will go away - I'll probably always watch the new car market. If the Cobalt were to die today, I'd be considering this class of car, and given the ugliness out there right now, I'd probably buy a used compact instead.
  14. Well... what else from the 'new GM' would you rather them suggest? Really, that is the best option. Remember, most people don't care about drive wheels.
  15. I swear, this will also happen to Western culture, but in a different way. Young men have such ready access to hot women in porn now, how will they ever be happy with the real women they can get?
  16. http://www.viddler.com/explore/failblog/videos/347/
  17. Unfortunately my enthusiasm has waned. Plus now it wouldn't be practical for me - I park on the opposite side of the street at home and have no way to plug it in at night.
  18. Two of them confuse me - Accord and Miata. As much as it pains me to say this, I would rather give the award to the Camry than the Accord. It just seems like a big pile of bland for the past 10 years, now even more so than the Camry. Miata mk2 lost some comparos to the Solstice and Sky when they first come out. Now it's a few years old, why are they recognizing it now? Have there been some amazing mid-generation tweaks I'm unaware of?
  19. Oh and by the way those are not all the domestics, there are still separate sections for Shelby, Saleen, and Panoz.
  20. Sony fanboy... How can you be so convinced of a game that didn't even come out yet?
  21. Interesting... here in Ontario, DSL and Cable compete on a very equal playing field, both price wise and speed wise.
  22. I'll approach this differently. Here's my personal option list. In the new GM, I can really only see myself buying from Chevy, so I guess you could call this my Chevy wish list. Options I specifically DO NOT WANT in my cars: Leather (just don't like the feel of it) Integrated Nav (everything goes out of date, why have it attached permanently to your car??) Sunroof (tall torso, it usually hits me in the head) Automatic (let me row my own dammit) Options I will always add to my cars, if they are not already standard: A/C Remote locks / power windows / power mirrors Non-steel wheels Nice-to-have options: A good stereo (love my current factory integrated subwoofer) Auto headlights (seems like a GM standard anyways) That's pretty much it for me.
