  1. I don't think Chrysler needs SUVs any more than Pontiac does.
  2. http://blogs.zdnet.com/emergingtech/?p=96 Not sure how useful it is, but interesting nonetheless.
  3. The BMW and VW garages around here both use Ventures as their courtesy cars.
  4. ah... Solara. So you bought another Sebring and had Toyota put it together for ya! :)
  5. When I hear the name I think of the touque and glove maker. Touque: "too" like from "tool" then a "ck" from "kick". It's a Canadian word, and I'm still not sure what you Americans call them - the wool hats that go over your ears for the winter, especially skiing.
  6. If I had a truck, I would haul my mountain bike with it. It's quite interesting fitting a mountain bike in the back of a Cobalt coupe.
  7. fake. screw cleaning up pine needles.
  8. Not just KICKED his ass, but kicked him IN his ass.. damn! you get the pointy shoes for that?
  9. The Corolla and 6 being on this list really shock me. The cheapness of the other cars dictates that the money will be saved somewhere, and it doesn't really surprise me.
  10. Why is Satty suddenly getting so uppity? You were always so easy going and fun, dude. Lately you just seem snotty. Am I the only one who feels like defending Sixty8? He's most of what makes this site fun to read for me...
  11. Actually, my parents were largely domestic buyers as well. My mother has owned 2 Mitsus, and my father one Toyota but other than that all their cars were all domestic - 1 Chrysler, 2 Fords and 12 GMs. Basically this preference boils down to experience. My mother has had good experience with Mitsu, and owns one now. My father's first new car was a 77 Corolla, in his own words "the biggest piece of garbage I've ever bought in my life". It needed a valve job at 12,000 km and the service manager was in awe that my father had gotten it that far without one!!! The car had rust holes after 2 1/2 years of ownership (bought new)!!! He said it actually came with tools for working on the engine, because Toyota knew what pieces of crap they were. My father refuses to look at a Japanese car since.
  12. It's a core system. I can't believe people are actually bidding on it. For $100 more you get the upgraded system. Wireless controllers, an internal hard drive so you dont have to use mem cards... those core systems are junk.
  13. :puke: Oh man, tell me they're not serious. I don't like the CLS to begin with, but they beat this design with the ugly stick.
  14. My guess would be a 1st gen J-body Skyhawk, from the taillights. They lit up on either side of the center of each light like that.
  15. The real mind bender: Having a deja vu feeling, thinking about it, and realizing that the deja vu feeling also happened before...
  16. Fly tries to be a peacemaker a lot, I'm not sure how often it works. Don't get me wrong man, it's better than being another fighter! As far as the car goes, yes, it's a shame. How many classics get destroyed in movies though? ... and how many bigger issues are there around the world?
  17. Does anyone else think the UAW is the wrong group to f**k with? If he goes through with this I bet he doesn't live a year past retirement.
  18. ...and if I need to race somebody to the hospital? Can I sue the company when they die?? This is ridiculous.
