  1. Tried really hard not to be childish and laugh out loud at that post Harley - just couldnt resist. Cars giving great face? That's one loose woman!
  2. Yeah, Sixty8, I'm not getting this Datsun craze, based on your other auto interests. I could see you getting into 4-cyls if it was something unique like a Corvair... hell, I could even see you in a Fiero before this thing. I don't get it.
  3. Riding my Kona in a 24-hour relay bike race: Hiking in Kilarney: Again (at right) Making a goofy face in front of some beautiful Kilarney scenery: finally, a rather heroic looking one:
  4. Well.. the belts are certainly designed for some FAT people. We had 5 people in an '05 Grand Prix yesterday, and we couldn't find the middle rear belt - so we took the right belt and stuck the right and middle passengers in together, no problem.
  5. Where can I get some of that crack???
  6. Actually, the way I've always heard "face" used is... the female version of head.
  7. Not to be racist, but... Maybe they realized that they were pointing the new 300 at a much more "urban" crowd, with the big rims and style, and using the letter "N" was not the greatest of ideas in that vein.
  8. It's cool that you put this up for all to see, even those who do not subscribe. This one made me laugh... Carmella
  9. Ah... you all know my car would win, 'cause it's yellow, which is clearly the fastest colour. Yes, I spelled colour with a U. O freakin' Canada.
  10. You forgot the part where it bursts into flames.
  11. My whole ideal of what an SUV is was kind of formed by my father's first SUV: So you can understand why I think the SWB one looks funny.
  12. I actually had to reverse out of the space, since I was parked against the building. Next time I'll just make sure I have somewhere to go after a wash.
  13. "Wall of Pontiac"? False advertising! I see no Aztecs!! :) I think BV may come to your garage and steal that fascia, just to be that much closer to owning a Fiero.
  14. Deceptive advertising is that new 7-passenger Jeep commercial (cant remember model name right now) where it comes out of the ocean, having been completely underwater with all the kids looking at fish through the sunroof. It does say in small letters at the bottom that the "vehicle is not suited for underwater use", but the commercial overall just seems silly, and possibly misleading to stupid people who may think that Jeeps could work underwater.
  15. This thread will never die, since new people need to post their pics. I'm hoping for some more pictures of Kaylan Marie, and that she won't think I'm a pig for saying so. If Satty doesn't pay attention someone may steal is 500th reply from him.
  16. Nice buy.. Side of the SWB TB/Envoy still looks strange to me, with the bottom corner cut out of the back door like that.
  17. Thanks for the good advice, Cremazie. Unfortunately I don't have much of a choice in using the parking brake or not, since it is a manual and I don't want it crank-walking into a wall.
  18. I live in an apartment building. I have to go to commercial car washes.
  19. Not really possible in Ontario from December to February. I don't think it's been above freezing here at all since November.
  20. I think you look better with the goatee, Sixty8. I'm sportin' one as well.
  21. How did Dodge get lumped into that?
  22. Are these all from the same company? It looks like Hyundai and VW got together and had a lot of ugly kids. EDIT: nevermind, I see the different brands now.
  23. Is there any way to safely wash your car in the winter? I washed my car (05 Cobalt) the other day and then parked at a bar. (no I don't drink and drive) I came out a few hours later and had a lot of trouble getting the car moving out of the spot. Couldn't figure out what was going on. Turns out the parking brake was frozen on. The lever went down, but one of the wheels was stopped and sliding around on the ice in the parking lot. Had to have it towed to a GM garage, where they fixed it as a "warranty issue". So the question that comes from all this is: Is there any safe way to wash your car in the winter and not freeze things like the doors and parking brakes?
  24. Make sure you park it down by the river.
  25. TMI comment #614: BV: It's only uncomfortable the first few times you do it, like shaving your face. Then the skin gets used to it.
