  1. I got to 50 dogs, hoping there would be something different after that, but nope.
  2. While we're talking Cobalts... I like this badge treatment (though I would keep the bowtie as well). How hard would this be to do?
  3. I have no objections to meeting anyone, but I definately don't have the money to fly to Vegas.
  4. I can listen to pretty much anything except 80's crap. There are VERY few songs form the 80's I like. Any other decade, 40's on, doesn't bother me. My favorite is new music though. My faith in rock is coming back, hearing rock become fun and simple again lately. Damn NickelCrap and their trashing of rock's good image...
  5. Josh - not that I was expecting you to be a push-over, but I wasn't expecting you to be that tough looking either. Most people I've known who look that tough and football player-ish are arrogant or just plain mean. Since you are neither it surprised me a little. ocn: You can fantasize all you want, whatever turns your crank...
  6. ...and OCN has just hit the nail on the head for me. Religion is all about making other people feel guilty. I'm very self-judging, and I have my own values which I judge myself on. I don't need somebody else to tell me what my values should be, or make me feel guilty. I was raised Catholic but have since rejected it. I took a World Religions course in my Catholic high school, and it made me realize that all world religions have one common core set of values which they all push. This has become the basis for my values. They are simple, universal truths. Respect those who help you, parent or otherwise. Help others as much as possible. Avoid being unneccessarily negative or intolerant towards others (this includes racism and other -isms, acts of violence for any reason, supporting Nazi / right wing politics, etc.) Basically I would not do anything a Christian wouldn't do with a few exceptions. These exceptions were made because they were things forbidden by Christianity which don't hurt anybody. My exceptions to Christian values: I believe in sex before marriage, as long as it is treated with respect and care is taken to avoid STDs/kids. I believe people should be allowed to consume things that hurt only themselves, such as alcohol and weed, as long as they do not drive or otherwise endanger others afterwards. Church is unnecessary for some (including me). I have my beliefs and I live by them. I don't need a weekly visit to some building for inspiration and reinforcement of my beliefs. If you do need this reinforcement and inspiration, then go to church by all means. It isn't for me though. I don't feel like I need organized religion in general. I'm fine with just being "spiritual". As far as God goes, I am agnostic. I don't feel that it matters if there is a God or not, or whether or not we are being judged. If everyone acted according to my values or the values of any major religion, the world would be a better place for all. This is the important thing to me, not the existance or orientation of a God. Just live a good life, and worry about the "afterlife" or reincarnation, or whatever, when it is all over.
  7. I'm so confused. Youre boyfriend crashed something? What's with the motor?
  8. Wait... a child molester? You mean Josh is underage?
  9. That's Josh? Seriously? I don't know what I expected you to look like dude, but that picture shocked me.
  10. Man, if all dealers get charged for how long it takes them to sell product, the dealership I bought my car at in Brantford is SCREWED. They still have a brand new '04 XLR demo that they can't get rid of.

  12. Are you guys (MPH) trying to kill the Buick = old man stereotype? Hotness in the back of a Lucerne Good job.
  13. Wierd... there must have been some posts deleted. When I posted those two previous ones, they were #2000 and #2001.
  14. w00t. post 2000 = l33t. If you can read that, you really need to get laid :rotflmao:
  15. I really didn't recognize that as a 3-series at first. I almost thought maybe it was a previous-generation 1-series that I didn't know about... Headlight treatment on the hatch sure is interesting.
  16. I am. That looks pretty cool. Unique too.
  17. I had the most ridiculous time in the ice once, with my old Lumina. I was trying to find the entrance to a bike trail on the mountain in Hamilton, so that I would know where it was for spring. The roads weren't that bad, as they had been plowed and salted. I went down a dead end street and noticed a little too late that it had suddenly gotten narrow and turned into a driveway. I noticed that it was too narrow to turn around, and thought I would drive to the end and turn around. Several "no trespassing" signs later, I get to this house at the end of a nearly kilometer-long driveway. I had driven down the driveway (downhill) with no problems, somehow... So I get to the end there in front of this huge house, and try to turn the car around. I get it turned around OK, then I try to take off back up the driveway (uphill). No dice. I tried taking off slowly, spinning the tires quickly, turning the wheels back and forth, and I was just spinning no matter what, and going slightly backwards. After about 20 mins of this I decided to go knock on the door and ask for help. A very angry looking man comes out and tells me I'm not supposed to be on the property. I tell him sorry.... couldnt turn around once I got on the driveway. He tells me he saw me spinning the tires out there, and that he had some sand in the back of his truck, I should help myself. So I proceed to grab one of the 20 lb bags of sand he had in the back of his pickup. Frozen solid. It kept its shape when I picked it up. So after dropping it on the ground several times, it broke into a few large chunks, so that I could open the bag. I had to take each of these chunks and slam them into the ground several times to get usable sand to stick under the tires. I stuck some under the treads, and after several minutes more I was able to start my way up the driveway. I got 80% of the way up the big hill in the middle of the driveway then got stuck. Spun the tires several more times, then said **** it, I'm grabbing the sand again. Threw it in Park and opened the door. The shift in weight of opening the door started the car sliding backwards. It was still in bloody PARK. I closed the door and put on my belt just in case. I slid backwards about 20 ft before sliding off the driveway and being stopped by a root sticking out of the ground which grabbed my tire. Phew.... so I open the door again, and get out and start heading down the driveway, walking very carefully, but still fell flat on my ass on the way there. I get back to the house, and grab the bag of sand. Lug the 20 lb bag the quarter mile back up the icy hill and sand where I had been slipping. Get back in and get up the hill. I opened the door to grab the sand bag and take it back, then the thought of another half mile up and down the hill hit me, and I said screw that. I left the driveway nearly two hours after I had accidentally turned into it. Luckily I had nothing important planned that day.
  18. There is only so much friction that the road can offer each tire. If the front two are trying to both turn and power the car, there is a portion of the friction available for each. With RWD, you get the rear tire friction to push the car, and the front tire friction to turn it.
