  1. So... he's had years of import buying with near zero coverage, and the media only pays attention when this changes? I fail to see FOG's problem. For once the "conspiracy" works in his favour.
  2. I actually like it with or without - the trunk has some detailing on it that makes it less boring without.
  3. I say icons. It avoids strange word choices and different international spelling. I always thought the "Check Gages" on the Suburban looked so funny - we spell it "gauges"
  4. In the same picture with the 2-pedal manual... did anyone else notice that the radio says "service airbag"? We can't even get quality for our press pics? C'mon...
  5. Vens... I agree. Neither comparison is a bad thing though.
  6. OPG currently has 3 company fleet cars sitting outside. 1 Caravan and 2... Chargers!
  7. Well... it is slightly less healthy. If you prepare it so. If you only use 2 small pieces of bacon, and use a little Alfredo, the chicken and pasta certainly aren't going to kill you. However... if you go all out and pile on the bacon and slather on the sauce...
  8. Here's a slightly more expensive, slightly less healthy dish I've impressed a few people with. It's basically inspired by Alice Springs Chicken from the Outback, with my own spin on it. You need: - Pasta (any long-noodle type will do) - Package of Alfredo sauce powder (or jar of the real stuff if you want to spend more) - Smallest package of bacon you can find - 1 Chicken breast / person - Some honey mustard Cook the pasta, enough for each person to cover a circle roughly the size of a CD. Cook the chicken breasts on a Foreman if you have it, or barbeque if possible, and place it on top of the pasta. Fry 2 strips bacon / person and place it on top of the chicken. Make (or just heat up) the Alfredo sauce, adding honey mustard until you can just taste it in the sauce. It will go slightly yellow. Pour the sauce on top of the chicken, bacon and pasta and you have a damn good meal. You may want to put some vegetables on the side of this one, or don't blame me when you need a coronary
  9. So... their 4 cyls will be "Camry" and look like ours, and their 6 cyls will be "Aurion" and look 500x better... interesting. I wish they would do that here. I would have less ugly Camries to look at.
  10. There are a few people stepping over some boundaries. Even at 1024x768, which I feel is pretty reasonable, there are some sigs which give me horizontal scrollbars. I have no problem when you guys post big pictures that do this, but when it's the signature, it does it to every damn thread... Let's try to keep sigs under 750 px wide, shall we?
  11. Even as a software developer... I gotta be honest, I don't really know what these things are. Can somebody explain?
  12. When this happened with my 3.1 Lumina it turned out that something was wrong with one of the pistons, and my coolant was burning off. The system was overheating due to there being almost no coolant left. Hope that's not what's happening to you.
  13. Sixty8 and OCN... sorry to ruin the swap party, but... If you get the cars in different colours, it would probably cost more money to swap the decklids and paint 'em rather than just convince GM to give you what you want.
  14. While it is very necessary to make these pay cuts, I feel for the people. When choosing what to buy (cars, houses, etc...), you choose based on your income. If your income changes massively like this, you have to sell everything... Well, I guess it is good news for anyone looking to buy houses or used cars in big GM plant cities...
  15. I remember it being pretty when I was there. It had nice beaches though, kind of reminded me of Myrtle Beach.
  16. That El Camino is not bad but hot damn that Nomad is ugggllllly...
  17. I like having a cube too. There is both a sense of privacy and community at once. I would feel wierd being out in the open at a desk, but I would feel equally as wierd doing what I do in a closed-in office. Being able to talk to coworkers over cube walls is useful in software development. It means I have to get up and bug people a lot less.
  18. Maybe you could get somebody to chop the headlights from the Roush onto your car, and see how it would look first...
  19. I think you really have to have the right colour car to get away with painted headlights. I'm not sure grey is the right colour.
  20. ... but you still can get into the Cobalt trunk with a dead remote. Just open the door, open the little storage panel and press the yellow trunk release button. p.s. GM hides their trunk releases in the wierdest places. It's inside a small storage hatch on the Cobalt, its near the bottom of the door on the CTS, and you hold the door switch to "unlock" for 2 seconds on the GP.
  21. http://toronto.ctv.ca/servlet/an/local/CTV...hub=TorontoHome What was he thinking? Even if you got away with it, where the heck do you hide a fire truck?? :rotflmao:
