  1. no, not really, but you do speak the truth, and the truth is often funny...
  2. I don't know...I really don't like this at all...That front just looks...fugly to me...maybe it will grow on me...but i don't know...also, it seems like it is missing something...
  3. yea, kind of a different scenario, but before I got my car they were washing it and it was a really hot day. I guess the window was very hot and the water they sprayed it with was very cold and it put a nice long crack across it...(they replaced it of course)...
  4. Nothing.
  5. That's a very lame, ignorant comment... While I myself don't drive a japanese car, I do drive a BMW which is still and import and if I ever found out that you even stared at my car the wrong way you'd have your ass handed to you on a silver platter. http://www.cheersandgears.com/public/style_emoticons//AH-HA_wink.gif
  6. you know, I was suprised. last night my friend's aunt was over. She is a salesperson at a toyota dealership and she owns a prius. Got it for 26,000. I was talking with her about it. She says the reason the gas mileage in the prius can get screwed up is first, when they are imported they need to be recalibrated, something she walked me through. Then she also mentioned (which I thought was rediculous, but made sence) You can't drive it like a normal car. When people buy priuses they are taught the correct way to drive them. But I actually took it out for a spin around town for a while. I was averaging 46 mpg the entire time. She says she only has to fill up about once every three months and she uses it as a daily driver. She also says it's nice because she can drive it by herself in the carpool lane as well as the large tax refund or whatever it is she gets back. She was mentioning last year she will get 3000 back for it or something like that. So maybe the prius isn't all that hype after all.

  8. edit: nevermind
  9. I chose kind of in between 3 and 4 (I picked 4) Which is why I am the current owner of a 540 6-speed...
  10. Up until their new video I though the BS boys were dead...Upon first inspection of the video I was like...wtf? why would they be playing some crappy power ballad from 20 years ago showing a bunch of drunk morons doing stupid crap on t.v.? Then I found out it was the BS boys and everything made sense, except the fact that they are back...
  11. The corrado was such a cool car. Great looking, great for modding, they performed great, handled great, Hell...I wouldn't mind owning one that's for sure.

    WHEELS

yea, they could work on that, but if we are talkin e65 then I just don't see them workin right... and I don't understand... I go back and re-read what I posted and I don't see any bias whatsoever. All I stated was TT's, being the more retro, muscle car type of rim that they are wouldn't really go all that well with the look of a bimmer which would normally tote around a BBS type of rim a whole lot better. and what's with this? What's that supposed to mean? You know, I don't get it...I love GM just as much as the next person, but I happen to love BMW's also. There have been times when my bias has kicked in heavily, but that was a while ago and I have stopped a lot since then because even I started to find it annoying looking at it as if it was from another person's perspective. I can't remember the last time I made a heavily biased comment or even a lightly biased comment for that matter. If I have, I apologize for not remembering. But I don't think it's very fair that even when I mention the 3 letters: BMW I get criticized for being biased in not only a conversation that doesn't evenr eally allow for bias, but in a post I made that doesn't contain bias at all. It would be like me telling you GM fanboys how shitty all your products have been and in some cases still are and you all should be happy GM is finally getting back on track. That kind of goes back to your comment Balthy...what did you do when GM's party ended and the lights went out? Or did they ever go out for you? And when people criticized GM for being utter crap I am sure you were there to spew your bias to the nonbelievers as well, correct? Sorry, but I don't care for that kind of criticism. The kind that seems very undeserving when I am criticized for something I know I didn't do. I am sure I can stop saying the 3 letters "BMW" for good, yet still people will always see me weeks, months, even years down the road as that "ignorant BMW lover" or "that guy who loves bimmers" or that "BMW bias spewing maniac" etc...and the funny thing is, (like many of you I am sure at one time), my love for BMW is based on where they came, not where they are going. I personally, with the exception of the 6er, hate the new designs. I am not into the bangle/hooydonk flame surfacing crap at all. I love the 7er up until 2001, I love the 5er up until 2003, and I love the 3er up until recently. The Z8 was and still is one of my favorite looking cars. I love BMW's before they started coming out with their new designs. I still like BMW, but the designs no longer interest me as much. You guys make it out like all I do is talk about Bimmers...You fail to realize this is a GM board and I wouldn't be here if I didn't care about GM. I love GM just as much as I love BMW. I just love both for different reasons.
  13. I6's are awesome aren't they? I never knew the engine in the IS300 was an inline, but the BMW I6's are deffinitely nice engines...they have a great sound to them especially.
  14. I've washed my car 3 times this week...though when I was it I use a pressure washer with a setting that siphons soap into the water stream so I don't have to soap up the car with my bare hands...I guess that's pretty lazy...
  15. He did manage to get a rear shot of the escalade... Btw, with those LED taillights as described, would they resemble something more similar to how the Deville's LED taillights looked when illuminated?

    WHEELS

haha, I do love the TT's and TT-II's but I don't think they would ever work on a bimmer...no M3 atleast...I could see maybe a 5 series as it is a more muscular looking car, but deffinitely not a 3 and deffinitely not a 7...they would look very strange on a 7 as 7's are more upscale and classy where he torq thrust series rims would just not work.

    WHEELS

Rims don't get much better than BBS that's for sure...I love BBS and BBS style rims...
  19. I'll trade her phones if she'd like. :P My phone is pretty much brand new actually...I traded it in on warranty because I think I accidentally broke something on the phone...don't know... but before someone goes off and starts saying motorolas are crap (I can just see it coming) it really had nothing to do with motorola or the phone. The phone didnt come faulty or anything like that. The phone is great...I think the problem was water damage (but luckily cingular didn't find any when I sent the phone back or they would have charged me for a new phone)...
  20. yea, the closest one is like 20 miles away in Santa Clarita... Btw, on the PCH drive...go past Pacific Palisades...it just starts getting good then...take it up to Las Posas atleast...then you can finish it off with some fun high speed straightaways through the camarillo growing fields...
  21. never heard of a panera...we've got quiznos though, and they're tasty...we've also got togos and subway... and about CA...well, I live here in SoCal, and frankly, I have been many places out of state and I really don't think it gets any better. Are there a lot of negatives about CA? sure, as there are with everywhere else. But we've got everything here. The weather is perfect, the people are beautiful (though we do have a lot of fuglys too). Great job opportunities. Great cars. Hell, SoCal is custom car capital of the world. Many parts of it are beautiful...America is often considered a melting pot. Well, California is like the melting pot of America itself.
  22. totally agree. I have one and it's great. I found an ebay store which sells full black conversion kits so I may buy one...I for one have a bluetooth adapter for my computer, and connection between the phone and the comp is great for that... about cingular...I have cingular, it offers fantastic service. My friend has Sprint and his service blows compared to mine...he's got a treo 650 (a phone I was thinking about before i got the razr) not that it means anything, but his service can't compare to mine. It's nice how he has unlimited internet and whatnot, but being that I never use it, it doesnt matter to me. my phone is great and so is my service. I have never been anywhere I haven't had service. 5) If we get pissed off, throw your phone, break it, then expect you to pick it up it means you should probably follow all of the aforementioned requests we did make for you so you would NOT come back into the store to piss us of AGAIN with worthless "my phone....." issues. No, what this means is whoever throws my phone should expect an immediate punch in the face. There would be no hesitation from the moment my phone breaks to the moment my fist hits that person square in the face.
