  1. haha, you got that right...I remember walking around with it just for the flash...no film...just wait for that flash to activate and...BAM! The flash is the best part.
  2. No way! I used to have a camera that looked just like that! haha...pos
  3. Mild case of penis fetish? I bet BV could suck a basketball through a gardenhose! :P
  4. This car is so unbelieveable. I was reading about it in Motor Trend. It's got a horsepower gauge (which I think is freakin sweet) and a $30,000 sound system....oh what I would give to just sit inside and listen to some music. This car is honestly turning into one of my favrotie cars.
  5. I wish my car came with an LSD...preferrably the 3.15 out of the M5, or maybe a 3.46, but any lsd is going to be in the 5 grand range...I don't get it, BMW put a 3.15 (non-lsd) in e39 540's with the autos, but the 6-speeds only got 2.82 (or 2.9, somewhere around there)...But I'd love an LSD. As far as options go, I pretty much have everything I would want in my car...the rear sunshades would be cool, but it would be one of those things I'd never use but want it just because it's neat. Same goes for Navigation. Instead of a tape deck in dash, I'd rather have the cd player (though it comes with a 6-disk changer, but it's in the back). I've looked at the cd players that go in the place of the tape deck, bmw makes a nice one which can play mp3 cd's and has an ipod hookup, right now I am utilizing the tape deck with one of those ipod hookup things. I'd love to get better than 15mpg too. As far as custom work, I'm planning on getting a short shift kit and linkage setup for xmas hopefully. I'm looking into an M5 front bumper and M-technik rear bumper, an Eisenmann race exhaust with resonator delete, Angel eye headlights with clear corner lenses(the front bumper and the headlights I will probably get after the holiday season is over), also I want to get an M5 rear sway bar (I'd love to get the front too, but I hear they are a bitch to install and require dropping the subframe) and I'd like to get the Dinan front and rear tower braces. I'd love to get H&R coilovers, but at 2 grand they aren't cheap, and I have heard of a different setup that is coming out which is a damn good setup and costs less than half as much. As for other things, I'd love to get the Dinan mass airflow sensor and throttle body and Dinan intake manifold. The manifold id pricey at 1500 though and the MAF and TB are also pretty damn expensive considering they probably don't give much as far as performance gains (though every little bit helps). Then there is the LSD...I could probably find one in the 3-5 grand range. Then there is the supercharger. Dinan makes a supercharger but the package is 30 grand. There is another company who makes superchargers specifically for my car and they are around 4-6 grand I believe. Other things would be sound system upgrades...the bmw sound systems aren't that great (well, not low volume anyways...turn them up and they're wonderful). My woofers are shot so I want to look into some nice subs for it...I'm thinkin a couple JL W7's but we'll see. Sheesh...I guess I better start savin :P
  6. Really? All my local BMW dealers (Rusnak, Steve Thomas, Bob Smith) Use BMW's...Rusnak took me home in a new 5er wagon once...I usually see them driving around. White cars with a red cross on the side. I once saw an old crummy 528, completely stock except he had replaced the rear emblem with the ///M emblem, but it looked more like this... W/// I was lmao...I think i took a pic...I'll have to find it There was a guy at school with this really nice sierra. He had it all tricked out and he had a pretty high lift on it. All of it was great except for all the caddy emblems everywhere.
  7. Used shopping carts are 75 bucks?! Why buy one anyways when you can just toss it in the back of the truck with the rest of your groceries when you go shopping? I noticed the tape looks a bit pricey too...could probably cut that in half...so total you are looking at around 7,010... :P btw, that Evans thing is nucking fugly and that mullen looks like a wannabe 575 maranello on LSD...and why on earth haven't I ever heard of the Ultimate Aero? That thing is f*ckin sick :metal:
  8. WHAT?! :omfg: That is insane! kinda reminds me a little bit of the Lambo LM002
  9. We used to always have real trees, but lately it started to become a realy pita to find a nice tree, and they were always a mess anyways. So a couple years ago we bought an artificial tree...it was around 500 bucks, but it is a pretty nice looking tree...it's like 8 or 10 feet...somewhere around there, it is flocked and it has built in white lights. It rotates which is pretty neat, but we usually add more lights to the tree (these large round colored frosted bulbs) so it can't turn without wrapping the additional cord around it and getting all tangled up, but it is a very realistic, great looking tree...I'll have to take some pics. We got it all put together and decorated recently, I believe my parents finished the ornaments earlier today.
  10. Cool idea, but just for a quick continuity check...supposedly these are a week apart, but they look like exactly the same pictures...exactly the same lighting, exactly the same angle and positioning, exactly the same everything, except of course for the scratches...
  11. what is with edmunds and getting crappy 0-60 times? I thought the TBSS was in the low 5's? They did the same thing with the vette, getting a second slower than what it should be at...
  12. Just as long as we don't waste our time in the GM section :P
  13. Just bought the 3rd season today. Gonna watch it all with my friends later.
  14. That would be the cover for the tow hook...you pop it open and screw in the tow hook. Mine is the same (except mine is square) and they are on the front and back...I had to use them recently when my clutch fried :( But it's all better now ^_^
  15. It does, the exhaust is probably just hidden behind the rear bumper...Until I get new exhaust and M-technik bumper for my car, my 540 is the same way.
  16. I have personally driven a prius around town before. I was with a toyota saleswoman (my friend's aunt) who knew her crap. She let me drive it and we were getting on average about 46 mpg the entire time and I was pushing it pretty hard (well, as hard as you can push a prius anyways...)

    ASMA Shark II

I love deep dish rims...I think it looks great and the style suits an MB very well...the euro trend though is to put narrower tires than what would normally come on the rim, in turn, stretching the sidewalls to make the lip of the rim really stick out, which is alright I guess, but I'd much rather have wider tires... edit: oops Harly, when you mentioned deep grills I misread and saw rims...nevermind :P

That grille is horrible...I like everything else though.

Neat car...never seen it before...looks a lot like a Lotus...
  21. If you said that, I theink their dirty looks would turn into laughter. Sorry 68, but there are no 2005 540i's... :P
  22. GM: C5 Z06 or C6 Ford: how about that shelby cobra? DCX: a used viper or maybe one of dcx's srt-8 passenger vehicle variants (charger, GC, 300c, magnum, etc...) Euro: e39 BMW M5 (preferrably 2003) Jap:350Z/G35 or possibly M45
  23. When my parents got their X5 the other night it didn't have the floormats in them (though I am asusming it was just something the car was supposed to come with and the dealer hadn't ordered yet) and they picked the floormats up the other day, it also didn't come with the rear cargo cover (you know, that thing that attatches to the rear seat and pulls out and retracts and whatnot to cover the trunk area)...that also wasn't in the car when we got it and they gave that to us also...Oh, and we didn't like the wheels that were on it so we had them switch to larger rims that we liked better (we almost got rims off an X5 4.8, then the guy realized what a big mistake he was making that he could've been fired for if someone hadn't informed him) though the rims situation was kind of part of the negotiations...
