  1. I've heard Adam Corollas show is ok. I haven't listened to it yet. I mean, I doubt it is anything like the king of all shock jocks Howard Stern. Of course that doesn't make it bad or anything. My mom used to listen to Howard and she says Adam is ok so far.
  2. I've listened to it a few times, and now it's just kind of annoying. Still sounds sinister, but it's just very harsh, but I guess thats what happens when you run straight pipes. That burnout at the end though was pretty cool. I was waiting for sparks to start flying...I wonder what tires he was runnin, they held up damn well.

    Last Place Again

750? New or old? Bummer if it was an E38. While the M70 engines weren't that reliable (then again, nor was the e38 all together for that matter) It was a cool engine and a rare find.
  4. Listen to the sound of that thing!
  5. It really depends, but I do like to drive my car spiritedly. It just asks for it. It's as if the car knows it when it isn't being pushed, and it hates it. So, I give it what it wants, and it gives me a huge grin acorss my face and suprises me more and more every day.
  6. It's deffinitely worth the drive to go up there for a weekend or so. Taking the 101 all the way up is usually nice once you get onto the more coastal part of it...like, in Santa Barbara, but away from the city and congestion...that part of SB always seems to get bottlenecked. SLO is a beautiful area though and very relaxing. I love it up there, but I don't think I would be able to live there. It's fun to go up to my uncle's house every now and then. He has a couple ATV's and an old jeepster commander which we take offroading. He lives on about 1100 acres of land. Sometimes we'll go skeet shooting or have some target practice with some of his guns, or we'll just hang out at the guest house which has a couple garages, one which is the main garage, and another garage connected to the house which used to be a garage but was converted to a game room/bar/lounge. It's pretty fun and relaxing up there, or lately when I have gone up there we head over to lake San Antonio which is about an hour away...not the greatest lake around, but its good for launching my uncles speedboat and ripping around. I'm gonna have to plan another trip up there soon.
  7. I dunno if this forum has it, but I know on other forums you can go into your profile and ignore/block users. In other words I guess it just disables their posts from your view.

    Pictures!

More pics as if you didn't know what I look like already... I'm smiling probably because I was laughing at some homersexual thread on cheers and queers.
  9. Haha...Finally...a chance to use this new emoticon I just discovered we had!

    You Favorite

Spoiled?! You Bastard! I work very hard for my car and I pay for everything! Spoiled my ass! And it's e39!
  11. YES!
  12. Yea, my uncle is in SLO (well, Morro Bay). It's a really nice area, It's very peaceful up there and the town is fairly quaint.

  14. That would be fine in a lot of other cars, But the only reason I say nav should be standard on this is because until GM can make a center console look good without nav, then it should come standard with nav (ok, so I may be exaggerrating a bit, GM has some ok interiors without nav, but come on...look at that console without nav...it looks like crap. That's my opinion anyways). They could have atleast done what they did in the XLR and atleast put a metallic finish on it or something...Anything would look better than all that empty space and crappy plastic. I don't care how it looks or feels. Plastic is plastic and plastic is cheap.

    Roll Call

    My name is Nick! w00t!
  16. Cool, but not to be rude or anything Josh, but didn't we already know this and see this back when the first pics were debuted? I remember the conversation that was going on about GM's new attention to detail and I remember this being included. Not to rain on your parade or anything. It's still pretty neat.
  17. If anything, I would think the Nav would "unclutter" the dash. To me, a screen looks a lot cleaner than buttons, knobs, switches, and plastics.
  18. Oh yea, I completely agree. I love Phil Hendrie (actually haven't heard him in a while...I don't think he is on till about 8 or so around here now...). Though I don't really listen to Leykis for how "funny" he is.
  19. On the topic of Leykis, Turbo, Tom has stated before that people who happen to flip to his station may not get it, or find him crude or whatever. Then again, he is a self proclaimed jerk and has stated it many times on his show. From what he says there is like a 2 week break in period I guess you could say of listening to him to really fully understand him and what the show is all about. But yea, Tom is actually a very intelligent guy and while some people may not like what he has to say and may find it crude, he is very well spoken, he tells the truth and he has facts and information to back up all the arguments he makes. He can be a very itneresting person to lsiten to. That and it is always fun to lsiten in on some of the morons who call in. He even states it himself that his callers for the most part are among the dumbest in his demographic and have the lowest income levels. His main Audience consists of the highly educated/college educated upper middle class.
  20. Well, I would never buy brand new, that's for sure. If my car broke down though, I would look into any of these... Another e39 540 6-speed (or an e39 M5 if I get lucky enough to find one cheap enough) E46 330ci or if I could pull it off, possibly an M3, or if I feel going extreme, maybe an E36 M3 and tracking it. 05 GTO 350Z track 03 Z06 or C6 if I am really really lucky
  21. IMO I think it should come with Nav standard, but that's just me. Considering what people would pay for and what they were getting before, and what the consumer is getting now, I'd say the price increase is justified. Though I still think certain cars should come with Nav standar, and this is one of them.
  22. Maybe it is because I am in SoCal, but the streets and highways are crowded with cars that run DRL's for the msot part so I don't really care. As far as the regular headlights running all day, it wouldn't be a first. 90's GM trucks and SUV's ran the normal headlights as DRL's and I'm sure I can think of others.
  23. Yea, Frosy, Heidi, and Frank are funny, and if I'm driving while they're on, I'll listen. The times I drive though are 3-6 for the most part. Prime Leykis hours Can't wait till Flash Friday starts up again :AH-HA_wink: Next time he does a live show around here or has his Boys Night Out, I'm deffinitely going. Seems like it would be a blast.
  24. Oh yes
