  1. Yea...I haven't read it yet either...just read the results...saw a portion of it talking about how the GC does smoke the TB as far as acceleration goes though...the outcome deffinitely came as a suprise.

    My Turn

DeLoreans are so awesome! I would sport one of those any day. Especially this one...freakin sweet! Too bad it's painted...B) Still looks badass though, looks great in black. http://www.eliseusa.com/rotary.htm
  3. I'm sure you guys would be happy to see though that the TB SS took first in the hi-po SUV comparo. 2nd was the GC SRT-8. Don't remember who the other competitor was...This will probably get its own thread soon, but figured I'd just share while we were on the topic of this month's C&D...
  4. Well, check out this Isuzu commercial First time I've seen it so sorry if it's a repost. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-5...6287242&q=isuzu
  5. Right, but it is saying a correct pronunciation of the exact word "nuclear" can be "nucular".
  6. The sad thing is Merriam-Webster acknowledges "nucular" as a correct pronunciation of "nuclear"...don't believe me? go here and click on the third sound-byte...http://www.merriamwebster.com/dictionary/nuclear
  7. you know...I'm looking at that picture and I don't see any skull caps Ona nother note...I personally have never heard the term "skull cap" used...or maybe I have...I don't know. I'm more familiar with the term "beanie". Oh what is also annoying is when girls use "like" for every other freakin word they say. My sister does it really bad sometimes. I've had to deal with girls in class who do it. It is so annoying. I will usually start counting on my fingers or call each number outloud of how many times they say it.
  8. And while BMW's can be quick, they have never been known for acceleration numbers.
  9. When people call something "bomb"...Like, that's "bomb" yo, or That's so "bomb"....My sister says it on occasion and I just want to smack her when she does...
  10. Consider yourself lucky...for a nice set of headers it will run me upwards of 2 grand. 1 grand for the exhaust alone.

    I'm pregnant

Can I name my kid Bimmer? Are names allowed to be alphanumeric? Maybe I'll call him e39, or M5. If the kid was a mistake, maybe I'll name him Hooydonk or Bangle...

    I'm pregnant

Congrats Satty...Hope everythign works out well for you and your g/f...I for one think you're too young, but hey, if you think you're ready, then so be it.
  13. Well, I actually see crossfires on occasion. Had one driving behind me today. I see RL's...have yet to see the redesigned ranger on the road, either that or haven't noticed. Too bad I don't see more Axioms...I kinda like those. I've seen like 2 X-type sportwagons and that's about it. Too bad because I kinda like those as well...but maybe its just because you don't see them too often. They are pretty good looking wagons though and I have a thing for wagons. I see insights on occasion, and one of the cars my boss has (who doesn't drive anymore) is an S80. I see a lot of volvos too...Of course, me being in SoCal, I see a lot of cars.
  14. Don't be hatin' on the shoe!
  15. Here it is...pretty sick! http://www.horsepowerengineering.com/media/ZO6NOS.wmv
  16. I love the old Datsuns. Such cool little cars. Great for tracking too.
  17. Yea, I just saw that same vid the other day...I'll find it.
  18. God I hate crap like this. It isn't uncommon either. I've seen many of these types of cars with lifts like that to fit huge rims. It's rediculous...
  19. What two (current) American automobile brands were named for real men who never saw a working automobile? Well, I know one for sure is Pontiac

I don't know what years you are looking at exactly, but if you're interested and wanna go back a bit, the E30 3ers are great cars. You can find a late 80's 325 for pretty cheap. If you find one that has been taken care of they are pretty reliable as well. They're also pretty fun cars to drive. Don't know what insurance runs on them...can't be much. But yea, just a suggestion. EDIT: read your post mroe closely...looks like you're looking for a larger car and a smaller engine, so nevermind.
  21. Woah, looks very cool! On black cars, the stealth look is deffinitely the way to go. Get to work on that bad boy (err...girl). I deffinitely want to see more pics of that. Looks great!
  22. ALFA: Anonima Lomarda Fabbrica Automobili The company was founded in 1910, then in 1915 it was bought by Niccola Romeo and it changed to Alfa Romeo.
  23. Happy B-Day Paulie! Time to party!

    .....

Yea, the 4.8 is sick. I personally prefer the rims from the 4.6 and when we picked up our 05 4.4 we actually managed to switch rims with a 4.6 as part of the deal, then the salesman realized he would get fired for doing that being that they are special wheels only for the 4.6 I could have told him that, but I wanted to see the outcome. But we ended up getting nicer rims than what we started with anyways, so it all worked out I guess.I want to do up our 4.4 like the 4.8 The small differences really do make a large impact. I like the euro lights too, but unfortunately that's no simple matter of replacing reflectors. You have to buy the entire damn assembly which I am sure is not cheap as not only are they auto leveling bi-xenon, but they are also adaptive headlights. Our X5 is great. It is a very fun car with plenty of power. Handles very well, and I'm sure, for the type of car it is, it's pretty high in its class. But personally, I kinda miss our Suburban. I love riding in my friend's 06 XL Denali. They are just very comfortable, spacious, nice SUV's. Especially good for long trips and hauling lots of crap and people. The X5 is nice, but obviously it is a lot more sportier, and with the short wheelbase and stiff auto-leveling/height adjustable sport suspension it rides, well, like a sports car. Not nearly as cushy as a Suburban, though that was to be expected. Not nearly the same car.
  25. I'm just wondering when the In N' Out's will convert fully out here...I mean, they have ATM machines inside, but it is a pain always having to take out cash when I want a burger...I just wish they'd change their registers to handle plastic.
