  1. And to think...you could've had God's chariot, the BMW e30. Kidding aside...nice car man!
  2. As am I. One day I will own one. I don't care how much...one day I will own an e39 M5 Ute.

    Nick!

    Thanks guys!
  4. We need to initialize large scale production of massive catalytic converters for volcanoes. They have gone unregulated for far too long.
  5. Global warming is nothing more than a multi-billion dollar enterprise. Is it complete bull$h!? For the most part, yes, but there is some good that has come from it. I've never believed in global warming...I've laughed at those who do. The sun goes through phases. It has much more impact on our temperature than any human-induced global warming can every achieve. The sun goes through cycles every 11 years in regards to its sunspots (Scwabe cycle). More sunspots = more energy, and throughout the next 11 years the sunspots slowly decrease. A new cycle begins when the average number of sunspots on year is greater than the year before it. Scwabe cycles are known to get less intense over periods of many year, as that is part of another much more vast cycle...one which affected the 1700's in what is known as the Maunder Minimum. A mini ice-age if you will. Believe it or not, we are headed into a global cooling trend as the next couple decades will most likely prove. Get out your parkas. :AH-HA_wink:
  6. Hah...was planning on going brushless...sidewinder motor/esc. I'll probably go lipo as well, and maybe look into some AE shocks and deans connectors for the cables. I don't have much interest in racing...not too hardcore into it. I just wanted something I could mess around with here and there. I have a friend with a nitro, and that thing is way more than what I want to deal with. I like the idea of just tossing a battery in the electric and taking off.
  7. RWD From what I see, most seem to come stock like that.
  8. Sorry about any repeated/similar images and shoddy image quality...I took a lot of pictures (many more other than these) mostly as practice to get to know how camera settings function a bit better...I'm a newb when it comes to cameras...Surprising considering my dad is pretty competent with them...gotta take some lessons.
  9. Impulse purchase to help ease the pain... Been f@#king stressed and depressed for the past month or so...don't know why. Yesterday I was in a $h!ty mood...Watching Indy and ALMS with my dad brought my mood up a little bit, but I was still pretty down. My buddy picked up an RC car the other day which quickly refueled my desire for one...I've always wanted one, but never really pursued it too much. I figured now was as good a time as ever to pick one up...to pick me up. So I did.

    Facial Hair

I've been looking for a new style lately...For a while I was going with the "Van Dyke" but now I just sport the "soul patch" with a consistent 5 o'clock shadow. I feel that brings out my facial features/structure the best, especially because my facial hair is somewhat reddish and lighter than my actual hair, so it blends in quite nicely with my face with minimal contrast.
  11. This is one of my favorites...been a w.i.p. for quite some time...coming together nicely... http://www.m5ute.com/
  12. Do not care about prices. I just filled up for $4.20...no biggie. I also have my bike though...but I still drive my car quite a bit. Gas is just one of those things I don't care about.
  13. Well, if it makes you feel any better, I still don't give a crap.
  14. oh my god...
  15. Oooooh ...Now we're talkin...It's definitely getting there... Not yet, but definitely
  16. I haven't used it since I had my truck...My BMW doesn't have anything to use it on. Now that I have my bike though it has come into some use. Used it quite a bit today. Brought back memories. <3 Happich

So drunk... While down in the lower level smoking a stogie, there was a marlboro rep walking around handing out free Zippos...when she asked about my Italian-ness I mentioned I was FBI (full-blooded-italian)...she took it literally and actually thought I was in the FBI, so I played it off...real smooth. She totally wanted my spicy meataballs. Or I was just drunk and she was f@#king with me...probably the latter, but I prefer the former. Whatever...I got a free Zippo! Granted, I don't smoke other than the occasional cigar, but still, it's a Zippo, ftw amirite? Good thing I didn't play taxi that night...the previous night we decided to beanerpack the 5er...7 people in back, 3 up front besides me, and a few in the trunk...they didn't last long though...turns out my trunk is very air tight...And of course, I forget SB is full of one way streets...driving back from the clubs was interesting...well, stupid on my part at least...Denny's at 3am, made it to the fest at 1pm-ish and passed out in my car with the windows down..had a bit of a hangover. Note the thumb.

    BMW M1 Concept

Double badges are a throwback to the original M1, much like the rest of this car. Similar to the Mille Miglia concept, it won't progress much farther than what you see, but it is still kinda cool. These are some original shots that were taken of it...posted a while back on a different forum, but it has been around for a couple weeks. http://www.asphalte.ch/Events/VEste08/26_04_2008%20484.jpg http://www.autoblog.com/2008/04/26/sneak-p...at-villa-deste/
  20. Congrats! I just got my acceptance package for CLU including a $11,000 scholarship for maintaining above a 3.5 through my transfer college courses. I know I have some more coming as well, just not sure of the details...should amount to around 20k or so total....all I know is it will cover roughly half of my tuition...if even that. The downside of private universities... I'm going from roughly 80 bucks a course at my city college to roughly 1000 a unit at CLU.
  21. Pssh...you people and your extended wear items... Hawk HP+ pads...probably got around 10k out of them...if not less. They definitely need replacement. Brembo rotors...well, they are ok...as old as the pads, except the front ones are warped...badly warped. Gotta replace those. Should look into new tires as well. My P-zeros are ok. I miss my PS2's. P-zeros have been wearing better. Problem with the PS2's is they are good for about 15k, but at $1500 for a set, they aren't cheap (granted, neither were the Pirelli's...) First thing I need to look into before my car is possibly a set of new tread for the bike, as well as pads, braided lines, stuff to re-tune the shocks according to my weight, and possibly a R6/GSXR rear shock and throttle tube. But before all the mechanical stuff, I gotta throw some money into my mutual funds...(and maybe a few PS3 games and some stuff to compliment my new Grado RS-1's and tube amp. :AH-HA_wink: )
  22. Investments.
  23. If I didn't...well...I don't have any excuses...Granted, do I need any to justify my stance on not wanting to go to the IE?
