    Pictures!

    Ooh La La!
  5. this thread is... wow...just..wow...
  6. Oh man...I wanted a LS2 GTO so badly. I've test driven them so many times. It was funny how closely it matched the e39 even down to dimensions and weight. Maybe that's why I loved it so much. It felt like I was driving my 5er, except much more powerful. My dream car is still an e39 M5. The S62 is a nice engine...my favorite BMW engine, but I would love the M5 even more if it had a LS2 instead.
  7. Cool...I went, but I was extremely underwhelmed...Didn't bother taking pictures.
  8. I imagine a large amount of e60's sold are 528's. The 528i does it in 7.1..."which isn't really a true performance car" either. What's your point?

    So...

I wish we had an autobahn...160 in the 5er felt sooo good.
  10. . I don't care how much faster it can shift...DCT or SMG or whatever it may be...all garbage. Give me my 3 pedals!

    So...

That must have been one long road...
  12. It is definitely a big car...just not as big as that picture makes it look...It just made the Challenger look skinny while making everything else in the picture that isn't in the front and facing head on look stubby. Hell, look at the Boxster to the right of it...It is positioned the same as the Challenger and also appears to dwarf cars that are around it.
  13. Yeah...To reiterate what Chris said, obvious wide-angle shot which looks to have been squished horizontally. Way too much geometric distortion. It could've been a cool image if taken and processed properly...otherwise, it just looks silly.
  14. And this is why I am a boobs man! <3 sweater puppies
  15. HA-ha [/nelson] Didn't see this one coming... I'm glad I can do my part in helping the environment with my WOT burnouts. Bring on the global cooling!
  16. I hate reading the comments on youtube videos...so much ignorance...Yet I still get sucked in to reading them and all it does is make me frustrated and give me a headache.

    tire tech

This is hardly "new." I remember reading an article years ago about this same exact application...wish I could dig it up now. Well what do you know... I found it... http://auto.howstuffworks.com/tweel-airless-tire.htm Not exactly the same design, but same principle...

    Sad+Pathetic=

Funny...we had a second life rep come and speak in my pop culture class yesterday. The girl I was sitting next to and I couldn't stop laughing at how ridiculous some of it was. As with many virtual reality online things such as this, people get way too absorbed and lose touch with reality. Sad really...though I can see some use in it otherwise. I have messed around in those virtual world things before like "There" which was actually pretty fun for a little while. I'm looking forward to PlayStation Home.
  20. If you lived in Europe and had never seen an Aztek anywhere but pictures, would you need to see it in person to determine if it was ugly or not? I don't hate the Citroen...From what I understand it has a lot of redeeming qualities...but I have seen many pictures and even videos regarding the car, and it is quite ugly.
  21. The Citroen C6 is like the Aztek of sedans...
  22. Nice...though personally I would've just upgraded to another Lenovo... I love the new W series...they are available with very nice graphics capabilities as well...Though, the one I spec'd is very expensive...and they are huge laptops too...well, the 17" W700 anyway...
  23. Can't wait for December 18th!
