  1. Remember though, the 3 you mentioned all produce products outside the realm of passenger cars... Suzuki with motorcycles, mitsu with electronics, and isuzu is pretty involved with heavy duty vehicles iirc...

    'Rock Band'

Yeah, I have it for my PS3...haven't played it in a while, but it is great for parties.
  6. E39 BMW M5.

  8. My condolences go out to all of you who have to deal with snow on a daily basis.
  9. I can relate to this story somewhat... I used to work in a family owned pharmacy in a medical building. My old boss (from New Jersey, btw) strongly urged us not to help any of the customers for this exact reason. Example...One day the elevator was broken. An elderly woman came in asking if she could get a hand walking up the stairs. While normally I would be a nice guy and help out, I had to refuse...well, my boss did for me I suppose. It is not worth the risk because if that woman was to get hurt while I was helping her, trip on the stairs, take a fall, hell, even develop some neck or back pain or something, not only would I get screwed, but so would my workplace if she decided to take action. Apparently my boss experienced a situation like this first hand at one point, though I don't recall the example he had used. The only exception I would have is I may be taking EMT/Paramedics courses in the idea of possibly becoming a firefighter/paramedic. If after such training I feel I could responsibly be of some assistance in a situation without placing the other person's life in harm, then maybe I would take action...otherwise, it is just best to notify and wait for the professionals.
  10. Gotta agree with satty and d-tones... But other than that mountain biking is my thing or taking the moto through the canyons... You'd be surprised how exerting it is... Same goes for jet skiing... Another favorite of mine.
  11. In the BMW community we tend to refer to our cars by chassis codes, and then go by the actual "name" if needed to clarify details. Speaking of "Bimmers"... Bimmer is the car - pronounced like "dimmer" Beamer is the motorcycle - pronounced like it is spelled, though the pronunciation is often incorrectly carried over to the former. Shortenings I can handle, Vette Stang (to a degree) Porsche (pronounced Porsh instead of Porsh-uh...unless the person claims that "porsh" is the correct nomenclature, in which case, the palm is swiftly applied to the forehead.) Lambo of course, now we are getting more into brand names which are generally more accepted...I can't say I can recall too many shortened model names...

    Oh Pauli...
  13. From what I understand, that's actually true.
  14. The guy with the BMW and dog...
  15. The C-class interior has always looked awful in comparison to the other models though.
  16. Agreed...I do not understand why the Insignia's interior gets such praise...
  17. I like it other than the rear. The back seems kind of "throwback-ish" but unfortunately has come out looking more asian-influenced in my opinion. What is it with MB and rear ends these days? I like the look of the cars until you get to the rear....Like the C-Class.

You have 2 hands for a reason.
  19. I really like the C-class until you get to the rear...and I've never really cared for C-class interiors...the new one really doesn't say entry level lux to me.
  20. I could use some extra toilet paper.
  21. Very nice shots BV! I too am looking to get a new camera...the Nikon D90 has been calling my name...
  22. Ouch...that sucks.
  23. I can't believe it took 8 posts to get to this... Best X-mas movie by far.
  24. I'm still not quite sure what is more pathetic...SMK's comments and arguments based upon illogical notions, or Oldsmoboi's incessant urge to instigate and call him out at every possible moment. On the topic of the comparo... Congrats to the CTS-V! I wouldn't have it any other way.
