  1. No joke. I think that look is cool, and very unique. Wood paneled wagons are a huge part of Buick history dating back to the 1940's. No automaker offers it now, except for the PT Cruiser and I bet it would sell well. The last Roadmaster Estate rolled off the assembly lines in 1996, and I still see plenty of them on the road today.
  2. I asked for more color choices, and an "Estate" option: wood paneling.
  3. Where is the "questions" section?
  4. This article was just re-released, I'm not sure why. It came out as a google news alert 2 days ago.

  7. if anyone is a subscriber to Ward's automotive here is a recent article http://subscribers.wardsauto.com/ar/buick_...osse/index.html
  8. Looks great...but a little small for a Buick. I guess that will be on the full-size Zeta platform?
  9. what is the Buick Zeta going to be? Has anyone seen it?? A convertible?
  10. I happen to like the LaCrosse, but sales are down the past couple of months. It also gets some unfair criticism in the media, called bland by some. Bland=Camry. Anyway, what changes could be made before the '07 models start rolling out? More chrome? Portholes? I saw a picture somewhere of a LaCrosse with portholes (ebay I think) and it looked cool. My dealer told me some dealerships are putting the portholes on.
  11. when will we see the Velite?
  12. I have a hunch cheers and gears will have the first spy pic of this car. You guys were way ahead of Edmunds on the LaCrosse super. Can't wait to see it.
  13. Does any GM person know anything about this? I found this posted on another website. It's pretty exciting info because it's about time Buick produced a really fun car. "for what its worth, I was at work today and a friend of mine says he was told about a convertible Buick possibly to be built at our Orion assembly. I said the Velite? he didnt know what name it was but that was the only Buick vert' I've heard of. So I found the pilot team and they said they have been doing feasibility tests on a vert' Buick.....don't know how much to read into it but who knows.....we can run any platform at Orion.....but what about moving the G6 to Fairfax and building the Camaro, Velite at Orion?"

  17. That may be true, but nationally Buick outsells them.
  18. What about the Lacrosse Super? I also think they should add portholes.
  19. Good q & a but I want answers about future products.
  20. Buick GM Reponse: http://www.latimes.com/business/la-fi-lett...dlines-business
  21. GM says Lucerne sales for March were 91% non-fleet. Car is outselling Park Avenue and LeSabre.
  22. We need a peek into the future.....and we need an exciting Buick, like the Velite.
  23. It's time for a Buick ragtop!
  24. I think a wagon version would sell well.
  25. As some of you may know, the LA Times recently published a piece about Buick and its future. The author made several mistakes, including that Buick was founded by William Durant. The Times ran a correction yesterday. The article was a slam to the future of Buick, and the author did not use a SINGLE Buick owner. He did not write about how Buick outsells Acura, Infiniti, Jaguar, Cadillac, Saturn, Saab, Mercury, etc and beats them in quality surveys. If you are a Buick owner or a fan, and are upset about this article, please write to the LA Times auto editor Barry Stavro: barry.stavrolatimes.com You can also contact the Buick spokesman David Darovitz to encourage him to speak out: [email protected] I will be writing mine today!
