  1. THanks for the compliments. About the windows it does seem like there isn't enough on the sides. But there is a window for each room so I am not too concerned about there not being enough windows. Also that is less blinds I will have to purchase when I move into the house. I would actually prefer not to have windows on all sides in the living room because I want to put the TV somewhere. I've added some pictures today from the inside. Not a lot to see but in a few weeks we should have the dry wall up and start to really feel like a house.
  2. Ya, once I become a filthy rich business man I will have at least a 5 car garage. This is our first house so hopefully all goes well with the process.

  4. a++!
  5. i'm sorry guys, but having bigger seats in cars isn't why americans are fat. Regardless I have trouble sitting in some seats and I'm not fat at all. I'm just tall - 6'5" (185 lbs). I'm sorry that my ass is a little bit wider than a 5'2" 100lbs girl.
  6. It's because they are all still sleeping. Those lazy bums. Souf Represent!
  7. hmm, you can get it with the Ecotec in it. Interesting.
  8. People turn against GM because they have been sucking. If they were awesome then people wouldn't turn against them. I love GM like the rest of y'all, but give it a break. There isn't a huge conspiracy against GM. It's as simple as when GM makes more "valuable" products they will do better.
  9. see my post on the first page. I added the pictures.
  10. I love the interior. to each their own. Looks like they have a 5 speed manual in there as well. Hopefully for my next car I will have the GTO, Camaro, and Challenger to choose from. lakefire to the rescue! http://www.gearsandcheers.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=286
  11. good time to buy some stock in GM
  12. What about Saturn? GM can force prices. Much like any company can. Why do you think the PSP is $249 at best buy, walmart, kmart, circuit city, etc... Because Sony tells them how much they have to sell it for.
  13. just recently (the past day) i was having severe slowness with my connection. I restarted my router and that seemed to fix my issues.
  14. restart your computer and check your internet connection.
  15. My dog keeps on disturbing the water as he jumps at the fish.
  16. In GM's defense, there are several companies out there that don't match 401k at all. Now granted it sucks that they don't do that. The company that I work at now only matches if we have 5% profit or higher. It gives us incintive to be more effective at work. Of course it probably has a bigger affect on us since there are only 28 employees. Regardless, I am thinking of buying GM stock soon because it is diving so dramatically. Maybe I'll wait until they claim bankruptcy.
  17. I honostly think that it's more than 25% here in NC/SC. I mean, it seems like everyone I look at is fat. You don't truely realize it until you go to another country and see how skinny and healthy looking everyone is. It's rare to find someone fat in Japan, but rare to find someone skinny in USA....it's quite sad imo.
  18. Here are some great SuperSports in my mind: 1963 Chevy Nova SS Comments: The performance image was added in 1963 with the addition of the Super Sport package on the Chevrolet Nova. Strictly an appearance package, the SS option added special trim and wheel covers, bucket seats, instrumentation, and a deluxe steering wheel, all for the bargin price of just $161. This was the only year that the SS option was available on the Nova convertible. Production: 42,432 Engines: 194 I6 120 bhp. Performance: 194/120: 0-60 in 15.9 seconds, 1/4 mile in 21.0 seconds @ 67 mpg. 1973 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Comments: 1973 was the last year of the Chevelle SS. Product dilution reached its lowest point and the SS package was technically available on the Chevelle station wagon. The 1973 Chevelle was completely redesigned and the engines were further detuned. Production: 2,500 (SS 454 option) Engines: L65 350 V8 145bhp@4000, 255lb-ft@2400rpm. L48 350 V8 175bhp@4000rpm, 270lb-ft@2400rpm. 454 V8 245bhp@4000rpm, 375lb-ft@3200rpm. Performance: THere are many more like this, but I'm too lazy to find them all. SS has always been a marketing ploy, and you'd be a fool to think it was something else.
  19. I agree that RWD is a better option; but the million dollar question to you is "how do you defind success?" If the 1996 Lineup was faaaar better, how come they didn't continue making the impala after that year, and shortly after that the camaro ceized to be. I agree with you that those cars are awesome. But in my opinion Success is selling cars to people better than what you did before.
  20. congrats...but I was thinking it was going to be me...heh.
  21. This was one of my favorite 2 seater concepts: Plymouth Pronto
  22. Does that arm rest look familiar? Here is my 2004 Dodge Dakota:
  23. why do you hate the dealers? If you don't like it; don't buy it. It's all about supply and demand baby! Don't hate the dealers because they've been making minimual margin on all these junk cars that have been coming from GM, now they just want to make it all back in one quick swoop.
  24. ya, I'd just wait if I were you. Best bet is to forget about it. Second thing is if you are using Pay Pal always have the funds come from your credit card. I have heard nothing but horror stories of dealing with Pay Pal and trying to get money back from scams. Your credit card is your best friend when you are buying online and make sure you have a credit card company you can trust. American Express is a good one but not all sellers take them (they charge the seller a good precentage if the buyer gets his money back).
