You can look at how the wheels do not sit properly in the wells and tell that they body is not the real thing and he chassis is something else. I think SAAB should have a SUV based off of stretched Theta! Like Suzuki but totally Saabified.

Boy this needs to go national again. I had so much fun an now GM will actually have something to show off.

You guys keep forgetting that their are people who will never buy a Chevy, Olds (If they were made), or any GM brand that they remember from their childhood. Sorry but people are just not that open minded and you have to just realize that. Saturn is needed and GM realizes that. My Co-worker had a Saturn a few years ago and since has bought 3 Honda's. I say that because it is a shock to me that she bought a Saturn period but she did it because she did not realize it was GM. Now that she does she will not buy one again but you get the point. At this point I wonder if they should have just killed Buick. Olds products when they were killed were better that what Buick has today in many ways. They should have grown them or turned some of them over to Buick restyled or something.

Looks way better it resolved the issues I had with the Lacrosse on the outside. It sits lower and not as high, it covers the mufflers in the rear, and it hangs lower in the front. Not to mention the new grill looks way better. Now what the inside really need in better quality materials and a new center stack.
-
I love the new rear but will have to wait to see how I like the front grill. As of now it does seem slightly out of place but it could just be the newness of seeing it. I suspected most here would trash it....you trash everything. Now the inside needs an update on the gear shifter area and the top of the center stack.

That was not a real question to be answered. My point was the Honda Hybrid which is 30K is very expensive and if you are trying to save gas then you need to think of the whole picture. 8-9K more than an Aura hybrid financed for say 5 years at say 12% and you are talking an addition what $2700 in finance charges. So you end up paying an addition 10K to get the same gas mileage but go a little faster? Please the Aura is a good deal to those who look at the bottom line and think sensibly. In today’s time most American are living check to check and have no savings. Perhaps it is because they do not look at the bottom line!

Something is wrong with this post! First the author stated the mileage is underwhelming Then states the Honda hybrid get the same mileage. The Honda is faster or more performance oriented...right. Then admit is cost way more (it should it is more performance oriented). Then questions the logic of the price over a base Accord and ask why someone would pay the premium. Well why would anyone buy the Accord hybrid? The Aura will do well because it get a credit and is cheaper and get very good mileage. Just think once the two mode comes out this car will really be hitting the big time. Sorry I was not making fun of the original post but the logic confused me.

What could be taking so long? I will bet it will not even be worth the wait. A grill and an engine and it is taking years.
-
That is easy! The Volvo because it is stylish and will run hundreds of 1000's of miles as long as you keep it up. Also unlike the others it does not look like a rental or a car you got for cheap. Oh and make sure it is the T5 not the 4. I have had a long history with Volvo's and unlike what you have read here Volvo's are known world wide for excellent driving dynamics and saftey. At 150K miles if cared for it will still drive like it only has 50K on the clock.

Pontiac needs to get ride of the G5 and give us a Solstice hard top like that concept. That could swing me from getting a lot of other cars expecially with DI and a turbo. The G8 will do fine as long as EPA numbers and not to bad. The V6 will do well. Some here forget people are still buying 50K gas guzzling luxury cars in large amounts and $3.00 gas will not stop them. What Pontiac needs now is to give the G6 a DI 4 banger and V6 with DI with AWD standard plus a new interior and it will sell even better. Oh and that G6 above looks hot what are you guys talking about?

Cadillac to Debut GM's Powerful New V6 Clean Diesel
rueben44 replied to thegriffon's topic in Geneva International Motor Show
GM needs to realize sometimes you have to take a financial hit to get the praise for being first for just for being current. Toyota got that idea and that is why they sold the hybrids they did at a loss and now they get all the praise. GM just do it and get those diesels over here now!! -

23 Spy Photos Of Corvette SS Production Mule Up-Close
rueben44 replied to DetroitWonk's topic in Chevrolet
While I love getting to see things like this I really hate that this person is doing this because it give the competition a heads up on what GM is doing. They will still get owned but that is not the point. As for the styling the thread said they are mulls so why are some getting all crazy about styling? I will never understand. -
2008 Pontiac G8 and Cadillac CTS videos
rueben44 replied to Northstar's topic in Chicago Auto Show (CAS)
Yea the G8 will steal some CTS sales but those who want fuel economy, leather wrapped interiors and 6 speeds with their DI-V6 will have no issue taking the more classy option. Still if money is anyway the issue the G8 is the easy pic.....I love it to. -
FIRST LOOK: 2008 Saturn VUE Red Line and Green Line
rueben44 replied to Flybrian's topic in Heritage Marques
I like the redline totally except for one thing. The side vents do need to go. The SUV is to short to have something like that break it up. Other than that it is very nice and a great step up. -
LOL! Me to I was like what.....oh LOL!
-
Funny I really like the interior and would not want it if it had a regular NA GM interior.
-
Looks hot to me and even better thanthe base version. Saturn will one of the saving graces for GM.
-
I like it a lot!! The inside is nice and it sits very nice. I would for once buy a Malibu with it looking like that and in the dark grey shown. Also the rear looks fine to me I don;t see why you all are flipping out over it. It could have been nicer but for once GM thought about the look of the rear where the exhaust comes out.
-
I swear some of you are as bad as some of those auto rags. Looking for anything negative to say about the product even when GM gets about 90% right and produces something that almost everyone is saying is class leading. Some here even call it expensive.......hello what does the competition cost? Any way I realize these are not professional pictures but still the crossover looks very clean and muscular with very little wheel gap. They should sell tons of these.
-
Wow 5 people and you have a full scale survey and a host of data! LOL! Thanks for the pics.

Get review and I just got a 6 about a month ago and I love it. I wanted a Milan but the 6 was easier to get at a good price. The engine sounds crude when taking off slow but in other cases it hums out a nice note. I am shocked how much I have come to like mine.

Saw the new Silverado and test drove it.

Boy that is some of the best looking fake wood ever! I would take it with a black interior like that anyday. -
JUST RETURNED FROM GM CANADA DEALER ONLY CAR SHOW
rueben44 replied to CadillacCTS's topic in Chevrolet
Really there is nothing wrong with it as long as the do it right. Audi does it, Opel, Benz, BMW and everyone else so why can't Chevy? The key is them making the car different and more entertaining. -
I like Lil Wayne but you can tell he is from NO because they are the only ones still into dreads. LOL....inside joke. Anyway good for GM but really what Lacrosse could keep up with those bikes?
