    The Last Lesabre

    Agreed. I loved my mom's '88 LeSabre.
  2. ... The Lacrosse's interior looks so spartan to me. I don't really like the design, and it doesn't look as rich as it should be, IMHO. I look at the ES, and I think, "The Lacrosse should be more like that." Maybe not so much the design, but the look of the materials, layout, etc. Just me...
  3. Hopefully.
  4. It's really interesting you said that. I was just thinking that the Milan was overkill for Ford. I like the Zephyr, with the Fusion being Awesome (but not as awesome as the Zephyr), with the Milan being my less fav but still nice. I guess everyone will have a favorite, which could have been Ford's plan all along...
  5. Very interesting concepts. The do have an Audi flare to them... it'd be a shame if they creeped their prices up, though. An affordable AWD product that looks that good could be a real winner.

    Kia

The Hondas are terrible. I don't like the looks of this car, either. They should just concentrate on Hyundai's Tiburon looking as sexy as the recent concepts they've come out with. Kia doesn't need a version of EVERYTHING they do...
  7. It's still an ugly ass car.
  8. Maannn, that's how I've been feeling. More than any other car company, I'd love for Buick to come back. They get close, but never close enough. I still have a big issue with the Lucerne's powertrain. Not only should it have the 3.6 HF standard, but the Northstar should be making atleast 300HP, IMHO. And since the Aura will be getting the 6sp. auto, I hope that BOTH Buick and Caddy's full line (of cars, atleast) will get it. Though I'd love the Lucerne to be RWD, I understand the cash restraints that's kept Zeta away from Buick, and that's okay (for now). But if you're got the 3.6 HF at your disposal, and you know the Northstar makes more HP, then give it to a supposed luxury Lexus fighting sedan, damnit.
  9. I'm a big Nissan fan, but this is a little disappointing. I was looking for the that Sport hot hatch concept to come over. The next Sentra had better bring the goods.
  10. ^ Agreed. Though I'd never option for a navi, I think it should be there for those who want it. I'm a pro at using maps, so a navi is lost on me. But if one is offered in "lesser" cars, Buick should see fit to put it in the Lacrosse.
  11. They put alot into research/development, and engineering. Though they're quality as fallen, they're still a technological tour de force.
  12. Hot weather testing...
  13. You're not seeing it. Go to Buick.com today... they've redone the site. There are alot more pics of the Lucerne, and the interior pics show the navi screen. :)
  14. I took the survey too... ^_^
  15. My thoughts exactly. Nissan/Infiniti's so called interior quality are on the mend.
  16. That's all I needed to hear. B) I can't wait to see it and have very high hopes for the Escalade. If the has an imposing presence with the understated Caddy lux look of the STS while having very cool options like '22s as options, I'll be very pleased. I hope it has a unique interior dash, etc.
  17. I agree. And the thought of an Ultra Series wish quiet power and cool sophistication would compliment Caddy's more outrageous, screaming V-Series (not impede it). I don't like the idea of Buick following BMW or Lexus. I'd love for them them to truly compete, atleast with Lexus, but in it's uniquely American way; instead of "me too" product...
  18. Well, it sounds good. I just hope it's not overdone.
  19. LOL, that's right. Don't let them push you around. B)
  20. Thankyou. That's what I was saying... I'm happy someone agrees.
  21. Have you ever driven the 3800? It's extremely refined, and smoth as silk. I think the Lucerne deserves more performance and sophistication. If you meant sophistication when you said refinement then I agree with you. But the engine itself is a smooth as slik, bullitproof unit that sips gas. It's just not right for this car, IMO.
  22. Very cool find. What is that. Is it just a design study?

    Buick's Future

^ Well, I see where you're going. It's just a matter of opinion. We're all dreaming. You're dreaming using a more realistic approach because your lineup includes existing platforms used here. I don't have a problem with ur lineup, except for Buick. My heads in the clouds, so I'm hoping Buick will get a Zeta or Zeta-lite (whatever they call it) at some point. I really want Buick to be all RWD except for maybe the Lacrosse. So, I'm dreaming with my head in the clouds. Also, if Zeta does ever come, I'd add a G8 and RWD Chevy.
  24. I disagree. The article suggested the M and GS as competiton. The Lacrosse is poised to compete with the ES (though it needs revisions, IMO, including the 3.5L DOHC V6 as it's only engine choince, not an option). Buick has every intention of the Lucerne going against the majors. GM believes there's room for both the Lucerne and STS in the same class. They'll be on polar opposites of the field in terms of price and what they stand for. The Lucerne will be the value leader for the entire class with a more compliant ride and quiet, strong power (a Lexus alternative). The STS is edgy, modern, and will go against the best in class (focusing on the Germans (and Infiniti) in making more driver oriented cars). There is truly room for them to coexist. I do think some changes should be made. The 3.5L DOHC should be the base, and the Northstar should make 315HP (so what about the DTS). I also think it should be RWD. Maybe on the next platform... but I don't think those changes will step on the STS's toes. It'll just be seen as a more viable competitor to that class of luxury.
  25. THAT WAS MY THOUGHTS (ABOUT THE FLAGSHIP). WITH THE BASE TOPPING AT ONLY $36K, THEY'RE SURE TO PUT A FULL SIZE FLAGSHIP ABOVE THE LUCERNE! A VELITE TOO, PERHAPS???
