  1. Agreed. But it should be for Buick.
  2. It looks great. And the interior's really, really nice.
  3. It looks really cool.

Are you kidding?? There IS no comparison here. The chop MURDERS the Pursuit. If Pontiac acutally made that G5 chop as is, they'd have a major hit on there hands.

    07 SENTRA

I'm with you reg. The new Sentra is really a large compact, closer in size to the ION than the Corolla or Civic. I think it's a real looker, and the powertrain is target. I think it should also use the 2.5L I4 making around 170-175HP too, but that may come later. Anyway, from the looks in the pics, if I were shopping for a car in that class it'd be the car I buy.
  6. Agreed. It'd be a step in the right direction.

We can all dream... I have the same one, based off Kappa.
  8. Here are pics of the new ES350. I think it looks great. Especially the rear. The inside's nice too.
  9. I agree 100%. This is a great looking car, from the pics shown so far. Period.
  10. I agree 100%. Warm, luxurious interiors, as opposed to spartan, teutonic german style interiors.
  11. I disagree. There's still not to many brands. GM's product remain's hazey brand identity for to many brands, and the lack of proper product for brand. If done properly, all brands could exist easily.

    Space vs. Style

Yep. What makes u guys think this thing won't be spacious. How much more space do you need? If you want a Lambda van, get that instead of the Lambda SUV. Geez, personally, I only need seating for six in the Enclave. That's plenty.
  13. So just because the currenet FX has two rows of seat means it won't compete with the Enclave? They will compete directly, though one is lux driven, and one is sport driven. The Infiniti will introduce the CX soon, so I'm guessing the next FX will probably offer three rows of seats. Anway, they're direct competitiors.
  14. Why the hell is it such a certainty that a large, RWD, Zeta based Impala be such a flop? I don't think sales would fall in half. It'd still do well, and would cut hard into DCX's LX cars.
  15. I totally disagree. To begin with, the Enclave outclasses the RX in every way. Secondly, you can count on the RX growing a bit in size with the next gen. With the new Camry out, the next gen RX will be out in short order. If Buick made the Enclave to fit the RX's foot print exactly, or even very closely, and the next RX comes out bigger and better, everyone will comment on how GM missed the boat (once again). For the first time in awhile, GM is taking the lead with this product, and they've hit a total homerun.
  16. Yeah.
  17. I've questioned that too. I don't think that Buick should go with Caddy. With Buick's new product, it almost make Caddy look bad. I've always thought that, with the right product Buick could possibly stand on it's own. I know it's kinda wishful thinking. But the Enclave showcases exactly what Buick is really capable of. With the right product (and I do mean, an all RWD car lineup), with the right powertrains and interiors, it could easily sustain itself. Create dealershiops, and a dealership experience on par with Lexus. Two crossovers, three sedans, and the Velite. I think that Pontiac (which should never have a BOF SUV) is a perfect match for Pontiac. If GM really felt wary about Buick not having a truck partner, why not combine them with Hummer? Hummer's brand is luxurious, and Buick's is (or will be there fully, shortly) also. Pontiac and GMC can still be seen as step ups from Chevy. Saturn would be a premium full line with European flair that had premium products that neither GMC,Pontiac, or Buick should have (such as a minivan). ... I dont' know... in my mind, I have entire lineups for ever division. And none of them offer true overlap.
  18. It'll be the Saturn Vue, here.
  19. I agree. I think the next Impala should grow to that length. Or Caprice, or whatever it would be called. The Malibu and Impala (in it's current iteration) is overkill. Take the Impala up a notch the next time around.
  20. We know that the flagship is in the pipeline. That's the important thing. I'd love to see it's chassis (ie, RWD platform) be used in the next gen Lucerne, and even Lacrosse (if possible). Who know how flexible it'll really be. One can create very different cars these days, with different packaging and styling from a shared wheel base that's only a inches from one another, so who knows. I look forward to the Lacrosse Super, but I don't like the name. I think that it'll be seen as a bit goofy. I wish they went with Ultra instead.
  21. I agree with you for the most part. This is really a replacement for al three, while the Theta is an addition. However, I'm not so sure that the Theta won't have three rows of seats. The Enclave is a very large crossover (Tahoe size), so there would be room for an RDX/X3 competitor that did accomodate a third rosw (no matter how unusable it may be deemed by some). I thought that it would share the a similar platform to the next Vue (Ople Antera), which does have three rows of seats. If so, isn't it possible for the Buick to have them also?
  22. Personally, I like the portholes on the Enclave. And though I'm not very big on the name, it's growing on me.
  23. If that strip of wood shown in the show car is genuine Rosewood (as found in Infiniti cars), then it doesn't get any better, IMO.
  24. Same here.
