  1. I remember seeing that, it was a 4 door wasn't it? Mine is a really nice 2 door with the rally wheels, vinyl roof etc. I'll try and link some pics off it here.
  2. Well boys I guess I won't be getting a new car anytime soon..... I was the winning bidder on Ebay this week for a 77 Cutlass Supreme. Maybe some of you saw it since it was up there for 10 days. Very nice car, black on red, 1 owner. I can't believe I bought something without even seeing it in person or driving it. I'm picking it up next week and stopping off at Carlisle on my way home. Here's the listing that the owner had on Ebay, Looking for a very nice '77 Cutlass? Here it is!! This is one owner car with original title and window sticker. Black with Red interior. ALWAYS GARAGE KEPT!! This is a rust free car. All original with like new rubber. Even has the original GM Olds floor mats. We purchased this car about 2 weeks ago and have driven it approximately 250 miles. Ready to drive anywhere. Paperwork includes: original title, window sticker, auto warranty, owner's manuel, maintenance schedule, tire warranty, pre-delivery check list, and Federal odometer certification. Also a invoice for muffler and four shocks that were replaced 4-28-93. This car has had 2 places repaired and painted. One above the trunk lid and below the back glass. The other is on the passenger side front finder. This repair was conveyed to me by the original owner before my purchase. These were NOT body damage but were scratches and cracked paint. The opera window exterior trim needs to be replaced due to discoloration. Due to normal wear, also could use new door to glass rubber seals. Also trunk rubber seal show some wear. But there are NO LEAKS. Look closely at our pictures, there is a damaged place on the driver side edge of the dash pad and also a small damage in the passenger's seat. Car has approxmiately 94,700 miles and has been serviced by the owner since new. Oil, tires, filters, batteries and lubes. Oil changed every 3,000 miles until it was removed as a daily driver app. 6 years ago. It was then tagged under Antique and driven very little. The oil was then changed yearly with 10-30 Havoline. We are supplying 14 pictures of this Classic, to show any and all damage and normal wear. There are no mechanical problems as far as we can tell. Air Condition and AM-FM 8 track tape player works great. This is a partial listing off of the original window sticker. Power steering, power brakes, front disc. Bumper impact strips. Tinted windows. Air. Tilt. Cruise. Bucket seats with console. 350 V8. Turbo hydra-matic transmission. 2.41 gear ratio. Super stock II wheels.[/size]
  3. I know 3 people who recently went to Florida on vacation and guess what all of them got at the rental counter??? Camry. I'm sure Toyota is moving more and more Camry and Corollas to the rental companies. If they are its working for them because its helping them pad their sales increases.
  4. Honda has finally entered into the incentives game with the Accord and its working. YTD its up 15k.
  5. I 'm dissappointed they were not able to post an increase even if it had been a minor one. They can't seem to build any momentum probably because of too many lame ducks in their lineup.
  6. Did you really order FF Impalas? Are there any E85 stations in Toronto? The only one I know of is in Ottawa. I've never even seen an Impala on the road with the little FF sticker on the back but I have seen a couple of Tahoes with it. Shows how silly this is, buy a FF vehicle and save $1000 but there is no stations that sell the fuel.
  7. I think the Enclave's interior will be its strongest selling point not its looks.
  8. I think Toyota workers are too smart to unionize, they see what's happening in detroit.
  9. Can someone get us an email address? More bad news folks, the Tundra made the cover of Fortune 500 magazine, old glory and all as Toyota takes the #3 spot in America's most admired companies list. I don't have the link but visit a book store over the next few days and you'll see it.
  10. The 2.5 billion number was in the Newsweek article from last week, probably was what they were expecting before special charges.
  11. My daughter's answer to Power: Fast
  12. A nice positive surprise that sales are up. Not surprised to see Buick and Pontiac down so much since the Grand Prix and Lacrosse are the king and queen of the Avis lots. I would of thought by now the Aura would be selling 7-8k a month considering all the positive press its received and the COTY award but its not even outselling the Ion yet. I've only seen 1 on the road.
  13. Up here in canada where I am I'm starting to see alot of Fusions on the road and they do have a great ad on TV with a young couple driving a black fusion with a catchy song, makes me want to go and test drive one every time I see it. Ford also got some good news today from Consumer reports about the Fusion so maybe that will help sales too.
  14. I'd be for it and would rather see Magna buy them instead of GM and Canada would have their first auto company and maybe they can add some special editions like a Charger EH or Caliber ICE.
  15. I've never drove in a 355 nor do I know anyone who has one but to me they were a big dissappointment from the start. The interior is cheesy and in my opinion is a step down from the S10. My 96 S10 LS actually had really nice looking seats and interior color. I had to get rid of that thing because it bloody well drank gas like crazy. I'm sure a full size truck with an 8 couldn't of been any worse. Hopefully the Colorado is better than that thing was on gas. They missed the boat big time by not offering a 6 even if the 5cyl has more power than the old 4.3 people probably don't see it that way. Throw in the goofy looks and its no wonder sales aren't great.
  16. It was nice to see Toyota finish as far back as they did.
  17. Nice pics. You guys were lucky, you got the red malibu instead of the grey one Detroit had but most of the other cars were the same.
  18. The Taurus X name is ridiculous.
