  1. Yeah.. I think I just might. On a sad note, I'm trying to find wall paper for a CXL.. and I can't find any.. just CXS
  2. Well from all the automotive "hype", if you would call it, suggests that GM doesn't plan on doing this for the Lucerne. Not to mention I will need to make a decision and put it in my driveway within 2 months (current old Grand Prix won't last). I priced it at $31,175 with all the options I want.
  3. Ahh.. come on.. just look at my nickname..ROFL
  4. I think I will be doing this Saturday, which should be fun On another note, I went to this one local dealer down the street from me to look at it and they didn't have the CXL I wanted (with my options and floor shifter). Well the guy said that the Lucernce CXL doesn't come with the floorshifter and only the CXS does (liar) then he took me into the showroom to show me an ugly color Lacrosse (umm.. this isn't a Lucerne) and it was a base model at that. I just thought I had to add that in there
  5. Tell you the truth I would be happy with the 3.8, I'm not really thinking buy a car for it's "total" performance. As long as it has some power and it is smooth.. I'll like it
  6. I'm thinking about getting a Buick Lucerne CXL V6 model for my next car. I've read some reviews (not too detailed though) and it seems it is a good buy. I'm very interested in it's features, comfort and of course the quietness. The other car I was looking at was the Impala LTZ, but this does not offer the features that I like. I was wondering if anyone else own a CXL or if they had any comments on it?
  7. I don't like that one, the center console looks so cheap. I do like the new looks of the new ES, but not sure because I like the interior of the current one too. (the exterior of the current one is too "camry" for me).
  8. Yeah, that would be more expensive that way. I wouldn't be able to keep my pencil away from the options list, so the $52K Fully loaded LTZ is a bit cheaper than the $55-57K Denali.
  9. This is great to hear, the Enclave needs to be 99% production. This looks stunning and makes me want one...
  10. I think it is ugly too, the front end is too long, the look of the front end is weird and I just don't like it.
  11. I guess that will work too..lol :) Have a great trip!
  12. You can email them to me, send me a PM and I will give you my email if you want.
  13. I agree, I do not think the STS would be a good one. I'm a huge GM fan and this got me wanting a LS460.. Then again after thinking about it the STS is a pretty good car, I guess we'll just have to see
  14. I was looking at a Car & Drive magazine today while I was in the sotre, I didn't buy it by was flipping around in it and I glanced at their Tahoe 07 review. They test drove the Tahoe and C&D said the Base price was $35K and the LTZ they tested was $50K. ouch
  15. I agree with you, I'm 18 and I like the Buick. I do like the Impala as well, but I like the LTZ. (more lux in it) I think that the Impala is better priced and good value overall, but if you could take the extra hit in the wallet... get the buick! :)
  16. I'm having the same issue rather to get an Impala LTZ or G6 GTP. I think I like the Impala better, feature wise and I've heard the ride comfort on the G6 isn't the greatest :P
  17. I don't think the Impala is an old man's car. I'm very young and very interested in the Impala. I like how the impala has a nice refined look with an updated interior, not too mention the 242HP in the LTZ. I'm currently looking into the Impala LTZ as the next car for me ;)
  18. Nice pick you got there bob. I'm most interested in the rest of the GMT-900s and the new Cadillac CTS.
  19. I think that the chrome looks good, but I agree as it is a lame intorduction. Instead of spending marketing dollars and hype on something like this, GM should spend it on revamping their cars :)
  20. Mine was $39,430.00 and I got everything except for the engine block heater.
  21. I agree, I'm thinking about getting the Impala LTZ and the thing that holds me back was the HVAC controls. I don't understand why a car at it's price offers manual A/C and a cheap Kia can offer auto???
  22. On a side note for the differences between the 3LT and the LTZ, other than what was stated above: The LTZ has these two main things that can't be ordered on the 3LT, no matter what: (according to http://www.chevy.com/impala) on the standard/option list - LTZ HEated, Power side Mirrors (3LT has only power not heated) - LTZ has Convenience Package (below) Convenience Package, which includes: auto-dimming inside rearview mirror; heated outside rearview mirrors; and Universal Home Remote transmitter (this package is standard for LTZ and optional on SS) NOTE: The 3LT didn't say anything about a Convenience Package. Basically, for people like me who like the luxury options, the LTZ is a suitable choice. For those who want vaule with a great car and options, the 3LT is for you.
  23. The Images are broken for me, I get the ever popular "red X" :(

    HHR review

Sounds like a really good car, I'm actually thinking about buying one. I went to my local Chevy Dealer and I was impressed, it looked so much better and nicer then it does in pictures (as a lot of cars do). I even tested out the simple things such as the way the Doors open and close, very sturdy with a nice "thud" that you would find in a Cadillac. Also even the turn signal switch was very smooth (so not the noisy, rough feel that you may find in other cheap cars). The only thing stopping me is I need to do a test drive, and if it goes well.. then I will buy it.
